J'envisage de me marier au Chili puis de me déplacer dans d'autres régions du monde: peut-être les Etats-Unis, ou le Canada, peut-être encore la Belgique...un de ces pays où l'immigration n'est pas perçue que comme une menace, voire semble même parfois considérée comme un facteur d'enrichissement.
En parcourant le forum, j'ai lu que le droit pour l'épouse d'un ressortissant français de vivre en France n'est plus garanti mais soumis à conditions... c'est à dire dorénavant réservé à une "élite" en termes de niveau de vie. Et ma nationalité française d'être chaque jour un peu plus lourde à porter, quand la France devient le pays du double discours, où l'on fait de l'immigration un simple "problème technique". Quelle honte!
Ma question: s'installer en Amérique eu Nord, est-ce aussi simple pour un couple mixte que pour un célibataire (simple, dans la mesure où l'un des deux aurait un visa de travail)?

tu sais une immigration et toujours un`` probleme technique``, au Canada tu peux immigrer mais pas comme ca. Il faut avoir une profession en demande, passes des testes medicaux, un casier judiciaire vierge et paye, sans compter les delais qui varie de 1 an a 5 ans pour les pays autres que l'europe.Pour les etats-unis c'est pire il est quasiment impossible d'immigrer a moins d'etre sponsorise par un employeur, il y a bien des visas de travail mais de 1 an maxi ou etre etudiant, donc la France reste un des pays les plus souple.
Et pour un couple, l'immigration au Canada est elle envisageable si seulement l'un des deux a une garantie de travail?

Je ne suis pas assez ferré sur le sujet pour me lancer dans le débat. On peut quand même difficilement parler de "souplesse" à propos de la politique migratoire actuelle de la France; mais, c'est vrai, ce serait à mettre en relation avec celle d'autres pays riches.
Il serait d'ailleurs instructif de comparer l'immigration choisie telle qu'elle est pratiquée au Canada et telle qu'elle est mise en place en France.

Comme ça été dit à plusieurs reprises, il n'y a que 4 façons d'immigrer au Canada (on parle ici d'une installation permanente, et non un contrat de travail temporaire):
1) comme immigrant/travailleur qualifié. CHAQUE candidat majeur doit répondre à plusieurs critères au niveau de l'instruction, de l'expérience, langues, etc. Certaines provinces comme le Québec et l'Alberta recrutent leur propres candidats à l'immigration.
2) Regroupement familial: si vous avez un membre de votre famille qui est au Canada et veut vous parrainer. Un immigrant qui a obtenu son statut de résident permanent peut parrainer sa conjointe, mais le délai est long...très long.
3) Investisseur/entrepreneurs: pour ceux qui ont beaucoup de fric à investir dans un projet commercial.
4) Statut de réfugié: ça dit tout.
Je vous conseille de lire les infos sur le site d'immigration Canada, tout est complet et bien expliqué.
C'est vrai, j'aurais pu consulter plus avant le forum, mais ma question concernait d'abord plusieurs pays. Je me marie prochainement, et m'interroge sur les possibilités que nous aurons mon épouse et moi de nous installer dans un pays qui ne soit ni la France ni le Chili. Non...c'est ce que j'expliquais: l'époux (épouse) est une personne à part entière, elle doit donc obtenir son propre statut (immigrant, travailleur, etc.) Si la conjointe ne peut entrer dans le cadre d'un immigrant qualifié, elle peut se faire parrainer par son conjoint immigrant (donc le programme regroupement familial), le hic est que cette procédure est longue et parfois contraignante.
Le fait qu'une personne obtienne son statut de résident permanent ne donne pas automatiquement le même statut à l'autre conjoint. Exception: les enfants à charge.
Maintenant, je viens de m'aperçevoir que vous confondez les statuts de travailleur qualifié pour l'immigration et celui de travailleur temporaire. Je vais expliquer la différence:
un travailleur qualifié est un candidat à l'immigration. Il est sélectionné par le gouvernement pour devenir immigrant au Canada sur la base de son employabilité et sa capacité à s'intégrer dans le pays. C'est un statut permanent.
un travailleur temporaire est une personne qui est recrutée par une entreprise (employeur). L'employeur a besoin des services de cette personne car elle ne peut trouver de candidat au Canada pour combler le poste. C'est un statut temporaire (ex: 1 an) et dans ce cas, OUI le conjointe (ou la conjointe) peut suivre le conjoint travailleur sans formalités particulières et peut même avoir le droit de travailler pendant que son conjoint est employé au Canada (il y a par contre quelques restrictions).
Je ne sais plus trop à quoi vous faites référence, si c'est l'immigration qui vous intéresse ou simplement un contrat de travail temporaire dans une entreprise.

Oui, c'est effectivement une différence de taille dans les statuts. Oui, c'est le statut de "travailleur temporaire" auquel je pensais. Un grand merci pour votre réponse détaillée. En plus, c'est une bonne nouvelle! Pour mon épouse et moi, le Canada semble bel et bien un endroit de chute possible pour travailler et voir du pays!
Si ce projet se concrêtise, je ne manquerai pas de développer sur les démarches à faire pour travailler au Canada. Si ça n'a pas encore été fait sur le forum, ça pourrait intéresser quelques internautes voyageurs.
