sinon ce n'est pas la période idéale il fait extrèmement chaud et moite (risque de fortes averses) début du changement de temps qui ira vers la mousson... ville très très polluée donc vraiment pas terrible...
donc partir au plus vite du côté de koh samui (koh phan gan ou koh tao), faut prendre l'avion bien évidemment...😉 ce n'est pas tout prêt... sinon il peut y avoir aussi à 3h de route de bangkok l'ile de koh samet vers ban phe (prendre le car pour s'y rendre à la gare routière d'ekamai jusqu'à Rayong puis un ferry....mais bon le temps pas dit qu'il soit parfait...
précisions : apparemment vaut mieux koh phan gan ou samui (du côté de lamai beach ou bophut car koh tao d'après les derniers retours c'est devenu pourri...usine attappe touristes et trop petit...
sinon attention pour une fille seule si il ya une full moon si c'est ça qui vous attire... refuge de drogués , viande soaule à gogo et ça peut être dangeureux... il ya des agressions des bagarres....et des viols de jeunes femmes (dernièrement ça n'a pas été ébruité bien entendu) nos amis thai qui ont su qu'à la dernière full moon il y avait eu des agressions de jeunes femmes touristes seules... (pas par des thais, mais par d'autres touristes éméchés et drogués) bref certains vont sans doute réagir en disant le contraire mais c'est VRAI...ça n'a pas été trop ébruité mais nos amis thais on eu l'info par un ami policier là bas...
bon en tous les cas faites gaffe si vous êtes qu'entre fille et ne pas y aller avec vos papiers d'identité/argent .. beaucoup de vols...y aller dans une tenue non provoquante...

Pour les guest houses il y a plethore !
Les îles les plus proches de BKK sont Ko Samet et Ko Chang, accessibles en bus en respectivement 4 et 6 heures environ.
Les autres îles sont beaucoup plus loin!
Je te conseille le site Tripadvisor pour faire des recherches selon tes goûts.

pas de panique.. si tu évites les rassemblements du style full moon pas de problème du tout..il ya souvent des débordements du à l'alcool et drogue donc c bien si tu fuis ça... sinon tu auras de quoi passer des soirées sympas dans des petits établissements... par contre ne reste pas longtemps à bangkok.. une nuit à l'aller et une nuit au retour par exemple.. pars soit vers les iles du gulf en avion il ya des tarifs pas mal (ferry c'est faisable d'autres te renseigneront mais bon c'est plus long et si la mer est mauvaise bof bof) .. ou alors un bus vers la province de rayong (koh samet) mais bon quelques jours car ile petite. ou comme le dis taost vers koh chang plus grande (mais c'est encore plus loin)...
sinon AUCUN problème en thailande même pour des femmes seules si on tombe pas sur un touriste abruti il y en a partout dans tous les pays des petits trucs qui arrivent mais bon faut chercher si on a un comportement provoquant etc..

ça devrait aller tout de même t'inquiète mais il fera très très chaud et moite.... voir généralités du pays.. il ya un dérèglement climatique certaines années qui peut se sentir au niveau décallage mousson..
nous y allons deux fois l'hiver depuis des années (fêtes de fin d'année et 3 semaines en février - mars) et on a constaté un changement de temps depuis 4 ans....du côté de phuket par exemple..mais bon ça reste super tout de même...
sinon pour le logement aucun problème il ya pour toutes les bourses
nous nous prenons nos hôtels sur www.booking.com des tas de tarifs (big hôtels ou petits hôtels du style GH) et l'avantage on ne paie pas d'avance les nuits, la cb sert comme garantie et on n'a jamais eu de débit anticipé.. il faut juste chercher des hôtels où il n'ya pas de prépaiement et aussi que l'on peut annuler sans frais selon la date stipulé dans les conditions générales de chaque hôtel.. bien les lire surtout avant de valider.....
préparez bien votre séjour vu que c la première fois.. pour bien optimiser vos déplacement 2 semaines ça passe très vite.. donc soit les iles de koh samet ou koh chang... moi mon avis ça serait plutôt pour l'époque les iles du gulf du siam... (koh samui - koh phan gan..).. en principe la mer est idéale et temps très correct.. mieux que bangkok - koh samet et koh chang.. 30 voyages sur place pour nous et on a testé quasiment toutes les périodes...et ces endroits..

I already did a tour in Peru 10 years ago in the Pacaya Samiria reserve, and it was amazing.
The simple reason was that the tour was on a motor-free canoe—we made no noise, so the immersion was total.
Is it possible to find a tour in Leticia that offers a motor-free boat excursion?

I’ve planned a three-week itinerary for this summer, from August 9 to 27, in Sri Lanka:
Negombo – 1 night
Sigiriya and the Cultural Triangle – 4 nights
Kandy – 2 nights
Ella – 3 nights
Tangalle – 6 nights
Colombo Airport – 1 night
I know this isn’t the ideal time for the south since the beach conditions aren’t great, but we’ve booked a hotel with a pool and won’t be swimming in the sea. We want to relax after all the travel since we’re bringing our two kids, aged 6 and 8.
I know the east would be better, but (i) I’m struggling to find suitable accommodation, and (ii) it adds a lot of travel time, and my kids can only handle about 3 hours at a stretch.
I looked into Arugam Bay, but it’s a 7-hour trip back to Colombo from there.
I’ve checked every weather site imaginable, but they don’t all agree. Do you think we’ll spend our whole trip in the rain, or is the monsoon in the south mostly limited to the sea, as I’ve read?
I’m worried about ending up in the middle of a natural disaster with my two young kids, given recent events.

We’re more drawn to the Andes, exploring colonial cities, typical villages, markets, and a bit of the coast. We’ve already gotten a taste of this in Bolivia, Colombia, and Chile. Plus, we’d love to do part of it by car since we’re used to driving at our own pace and stopping whenever we feel like it. Anyway, time’s running out, and I need to decide so I can finalize a route and book the tickets!!

I’d love to hear from people who’ve visited the country and these cities during this period—basically, is it not as bad as it sounds, or should we just cancel our tickets (we don’t mind the heat, it’s mostly the rain that scares us).
I know there are plenty of indoor activities, but do you think we’ll still manage to get a few sunny days, or will it be torrential rain for our entire 2-week trip?
The only other country we’ve visited during the rainy season is Brazil (in the northeast) around the same time, and honestly, aside from a few really annoying downpours, we had sunshine most of the time and it was awesome. That said, the climate is totally different, so I’m not sure how relevant the comparison is.

Personally, I see a promising opportunity here—jumping on this adaptation to extreme climates before others do, since they’re inevitably coming.
From my own travel experience, I’ve met a few guides so far who are starting to adjust, like in Egypt, Kenya, Senegal, and elsewhere.
They avoid crowds and the hottest hours by starting their tours around 6–7 AM, when it’s cooler.
Yeah, you’ve gotta wake up early, but the payoff is so worth it. 😴
If you’ve got any great tips like this, why not discuss them in this thread and share addresses or websites where the people in charge have realized climate change is real and are adapting? 😊
