Hi everyone, From March 31 to April 10, I took the Viking Lands cruise with CFC. Out of curiosity, I checked the Renaissance’s route yesterday and noticed it didn’t make the Sandnes/Stavanger stop that we had. Maybe the itinerary was planned that way? Best regards,

Hello, It was planned that this stop wouldn’t happen on the cruise from 20/04/25 to 30/04/25. That’s why we chose the cruise from 31/03/25 to 11/04/25 for the stop in Sandnes. Mum49

Hi there, I’m a bit unsure about the port of call during my Trolls cruise on July 13th. Does the Renaissance dock in Sandnes or Stavanger? Thanks for your replies. Corinne

Hi there, I just checked your itinerary, which has the same stop as the one in March/April—specifically, a stop in SANDNES. We took an excursion with CFC to Stavanger. Info provided by CFC: Stavanger is 14 km away and takes about 25 minutes by car. For 300 to 500 NOK, you can access all the tourist sites in the Stavanger municipality. Name of the port in Sandnes: SOMANESET (quite far from the Sandnes city center). Happy cruising! mum49

Hi there, have any of you seen the northern lights around this time of year? 😊

Hello, Our cruise was only in the south of Norway, so no northern lights. You’d need to book a cruise heading to Tromsø for that. Have a great day! Mum49

Thank you so much! Of course! 😊

Hi! I see you took the CFC cruise—we’re doing it in May. Could you tell me what you saw so we can get some ideas? I think we’re stopping at the same ports. Thanks!

Hello,

I just checked your itinerary, which has nothing to do with the one we did this year in April: Copenhagen, Lysekil, Oslo, Kristiansand, Sandnes, and Zeebrugge as the only common stop. In Zeebrugge, we just left the port to do some shopping in a boutique across the street. We realized too late that there was a chocolate shop to visit not far away. Sorry I can’t help you out. Have a great cruise! Mum49
