Bonjour à tous, j'ai séjourné il y a de cela 11 ans à ce qui portait à l'époque le nom de Playa Ancon. Je n'ai jamais revu de sable si fins ailleurs à Cuba. J'aimerais avoir vos opinions et perceptions face à ce complexe. À quelle distance se trouve-t-on de Trinidad $ De plus, si vous pouviez faire parler vos papilles gustatives ce serait génial !
P.S. Je suis tout à fait consciente que la cuisine Cubaine et bien elle est Cubaine !
Salut! La plage Ancon est toujours aussi belle! J'ay suis allée 3 fois depuis 1 an dont la dernière fois en mars pour mon mariage!!! Mais moi je vais toujours à l'hôtel Brisas Trinidad del Mar, qui est juste à côté de l'Hotel Ancon. C'est un 4 étoiles (le Ancon est un 3 je crois), un peu plus cher mais ça vaut la peine, très joli et service et chambres impeccables. Par contre si tu veux aller à l'hotel Ancon demande les chambres catégorie supérieure, j'ai des amis qui sont allés récemment et ils ont été satisfaits aussi.
De la plage tu es à 15 km du centre-ville de Trinidad (8 CUC en taxi, 4 CUC en coco-taxi, et environ 5 CUC en voiture de particuliers, s'ils acceptent de te prendre ;-). Moi j'y allais tous les soirs pour aller danser en ville, jamais eu de problème à trouver un taxi pour revenir (quoi que passé minuit ou 1:00 ce n'est plus des taxis officiels mais tu vas toujours trouver des "taxis" particuliers i.e. un gars qui a une auto, en bas de la côte, mais à cette heure là c'est plutôt 10 CUC... Mais côté sécurité, aucun danger!)
Si tu veux d'autres infos sur Trinidad fais-moi signe!
Je ne veut pas t'influencer mais pour du sable extra fin, tu ne trouveras pas plus fin et farineux qu'à Cayo Largo. Tu as l'impression de marcher dans du mélange à gâteau...Mais c'est un peu plus cher que le Ancon. J'y suis aussi allé, ils ont maintenant les chambres supérieures qui sont situés sur la plage.

Je dois avouer que Jynni doit avoir raison sur le point du sable le plus fin: je ne suis jamais allée à Cayo Largo mais plusieurs personnes m'ont dit la même chose.
Par contre la playa Ancon offre l'avantage d'être tout près de Trinidad, une superbe ville à visiter, et pour le night life, la meilleure ville à Cuba pour danser et/ou écouter de la musique (oui je sais, je suis une indécrottable chauvine, Trinidad c'est chez moi, alors!!! 😉 En plus, à Trinidad tu peux faire des excursions en montage et en forêt à Topes de Collantes, et il y a plein de choses à visiter. Cayo Largo, je ne suis pas allée mais ce que j'en sais c'est que c'est uniquement la plage et les hôtels, il n'y a pas de ville comme tel et les seuls cubains qu'on y rencontre sont les employés des hôtels.
Donc à toi de voir ce qui est le plus important pour toi: veux-tu faire juste de la plage ou visiter autre chose?

At all-inclusive resorts, base salaries are extremely low for 10- to 12-hour workdays. Tips aren’t just a little extra—they often make up half of these families’ income.
Personally, I always prepare an envelope with euro bills in different denominations before I leave (they exchange them easily on-site). Here’s my method:
🛏️ For housekeeping: I leave a bill on the pillow every morning since schedules rotate daily.
🍽️ For servers: I always sit at the same table. At the end of the trip, I give an envelope to each server who took care of us daily.
🎉 For entertainment: I set aside an envelope for the animator who put in the most effort and really touched me.
The package covers the hotel, but our tips help support the people who make our vacations magical. Don’t forget to budget for this in cash when you pack!

I found a hotel, the Kappa Club Crystal Bay Resort, and online reviews for this hotel recommend a guide named Omar. I contacted him via WhatsApp, and he's offering a 2-day, 1-night safari in Tsavo East, a "blue safari," and a Marafa Canyon day trip for 400 € per person.
I’m asking for help from people who’ve already done these excursions because I have no idea what these offers entail.

To add to the info in the title, I’m open to various activities, but ideally, it’d include snorkeling, hiking, dance (every evening if possible!), group tours, etc. I’d love to meet people (not necessarily a man—just people in general!). We’ll be in Venice from March 20th to 24th, and I’m looking (for two couples) for a hotel close to St. Mark’s Square—my husband can’t walk long distances. For four nights with breakfast, our budget is around 1,400 € per couple. To avoid too much walking for him, I’d also prefer a hotel where we could potentially eat dinner in the evenings.

Is the latter one reliable?

Bonjour nous arriverons dimanche 5 mai ( à partir de 16h25) à l'aéroport de Punta Cana pour profiter d'un séjour que mon amie à gagner à l’hôtel Gran Bahia Principe La Romana.
L'avion est offert par la compagnie aérienne, l'hôtel je pense par la chaine hôtelière, mais aujourd'hui je m’inquiète du transfert car aucune info et j'apprends que rien n'est prévu.
D’après ce que j'ai vu le dernier car expreso part de Punta Cana à 16h00
Y-a t'il d'autres moyens de transports collectif (guagua) qui puisse faire le trajet ou au moins nous avancer jusqu'à La Romana ou San Pedro de Marcoris et je pense qu'on finira le trajet en taxi.
Si c'est trop compliqué ça sera navette privée mais on est plus "lonely planet " que navette privée et hôtel tout inclus.
