J'ai vue une emission sur cette destination et cette hotel et ça l'air super beau mais tant qu'ont l'a pas de commentaires ont peut pas vraiment se faire une idée.

J'y suis allée il y a environ 3 ans et j'ai bien aimé! Ça bouge beaucoup, les animateurs sont gentils et la chambre était propre! Bref, rien à redire. J'y retournerais si j'avais un bon deal... Je ne paierais pas plus que 950$ 1 semaine pour cet hôtel, ce que j'avais (à peu près) payé.
La nourriture est moyenne, mais il y a quand même toujours quelque chose de bon, même si c'est répétitif! 😉
Je ne crois pas qu'il soit possible de s'ennuyer à cet hôtel, c'est très jeune, donc si c'est ce que tu recherches, hé bien n'hésites pas!

j'etais dans cet hotel du 4 au 19 janvier et bien la deception, il y a de gros travaux a faire c'est une honte de vendre cet hotel pour un 4 etoiles.
la nourriture n'est pas bonne, les cocktails non plus, le personnel pas acceuillant,
il n'y a pas de toilettes pres de la plage(tu dois allez a la piscine ou a ta chambre)je pense que la pluspart des gens ne font pas ce petit effort
de plus l'hotel est a 8 km de varadero et c'est trop, si tu veux faire un tour en ville le soir car a l'hotel a 10H c'est mort, pour te promener, boire ou autre c'est pas pratique
pareil la journée, les transports sont nombreux mais cela te coutera 8 a 12 cuc allez retour par personne environ
la plage est aussi belle en ville et c'est du bonheur .Varadero est mignon et c'est une ville en bonne etat car entierement touristique, mais c'est pas cuba.visite et tu te rendra vite compte que toutes les villes de ce pays sont en ruine.
meme la havane il y a 3 rues a touristes, plus le capitole le reste est en travaux ou a l'abandon.c'est triste
donc mon conseil prend un hotel plus proche de ou dans varadero, mais pas le playa
cet hotel a ete construit en 2000. Mais quand on voit l'etat dans lequel il se trouve ca ne parait pas croyable. Il faut savoir que c'est l'hotel qui a le plus souffert du dernier cyclone qui a touche Varadero il y a quelques annees.Cet hotel est sous direction francaise et vient de changer de directeur au mois de decembre. C'est un hotel tres valable si vous cherchez un sejour plage. Mais si vous aimez sortir le soir, ce n'est pas la qu'il faut aller malgre qu'il y a une tres belle disco(qui est toujours vide).Dirigez-vous vers des hotels plus proches du centre p.ex. Villa Cuba, Arenas Doradas, Palma Real, Quatro Palmas, Los Dolfines etc. Ainsi, vous etes au centre de l'action et vous ne vous ruinez pas en taxi qui vous coute 20Cuc a/r depuis le Playa De Oro. Pour savoir ou se situe cet hotel a Varadero, regardez sur Google Earth.

Pour repondre a tes questions, la nourriture du Playa me convenait parfaitement. Un buffet valable avec un choix d'entrees chaudes et froides, les plats chauds sont varies aussi (poissons, poulet, porc, boeuf et pates) et un petit buffet de desserts qui est pris d'assaut tres souvent par les clients qui ne trouvent rien de bon a manger. Il faut dire que je ne suis pas tres difficile. De par mon metier je mange tous les jours dans un resto different, donc meme si un jour je ne trouve pas mon bonheur, je n'en mourrai pas.Il faut tout de meme savoir que la cuisine n'est pas le point fort des cubains, meme si le chef de cuisine (Sofiane) est tunisien. Pour la proprete, l'hotel est propre et les jardins bien entrenus. S'il y a un probleme, va voir ta femme de chambre et si tu n'est pas satisfait, va voir Dieu (Frederic) qui est le Gen.Manager. Pour les animations, l'equipe qui y etait en decembre etait valable mais j'ai connu mieux. Par contre les spectacles de danse (style cabaret) presente par une troupe de Matanzas sont tres bons.Les shows de "participation" sont comme dans tous les hotels touristiques. Le ballet aquatique est "top". Regarde mon post plus haut pour le reste.Si autres questions se sera avec plaisir.
Allo moi je m'y rend le 11 mars pour une semaine. Il y a bq de commentaire variés, des gens aiment et d'autre n'aime pas. Entoucas j'espere ne pas etre décu car ses mon premier voyage. toi quand pense tu t'y rendent.
Comme tu as lu pas mal de commentaires maintenant, je pense que tu as pu te faire une idee de l'hotel. Il faut savoir que pour le choix des hotels, tous les gouts sont dans la nature. En tout cas ne t'inqiete pas et pars sans crainte et surtout passe de bonnes vacances.

En passant j'y suis allé du 26 janvier au 02 février et j'ai adoré. Pour ce qui est de la discothèque nous il y avait toujours du monde mais il fallait se passer le mot car les gens sortaient en ville.
On est deux chum qui connaissont le Playa de Oro pour y avoir déja été.Nous on y sera a partir du 12 mars.
Tu as fait un bon choix, c'est un endroit ou on peut avoir du fun.
On se verra peut-etre la-bas si tu est le moindrement de party.

Je suis allé au Coralia en 2006 et cet hotel est FANTASTIQUE c'est le moins qu'on puisse dire. Je ne comprends pas les européens qui ne sont jamais satisfaits... jamis contents eux-autres. C'est Cuba les ti-z-amis, pas la Fraaaaance là.... pour la bouffe on s'habitue, tu passes pas ta vie là. La bière est bonne (la Cristal). Le meilleur bar est toujours celui du lobby de l'hotel, et ce pour tous les hotels de Cuba. Pas de problème avec l'eau potable, l'équipe d'animation est la meilleure que j'ai vu à Cuba et l'orchestre de l'hôtel (Son del caiman) est hallucinant, mais achète pas leur cd, et laisse toi pas tenter par des cigares qu'on te propose... pour les activités le catamaran (75 CUC) est le fun et le safari en jeep (65 CUC je pense) aussi ben trippatif.
Je suis allé avec Go Travel et l'avion (Zoom) était pas mal mieux que que Air Cacanada.

Hey, I’d like to know which hotel in the south doesn’t force you to wake up at 4 AM just to reserve a shady chair, whether it’s at the beach or the pool.
I wanted to share a great discovery in the Marakele area because, in the end, this park doesn’t get talked about much compared to Kruger, even though it’s really worth the detour.
We discovered Cypiro Leopard Lodge, right next to Marakele National Park in the Waterberg. It’s a small property with just a few villas and suites, so it’s nothing like the big, crowded lodges. What we loved most was the feeling of being truly at the end of the world—lots of space, silence, and almost no one around.
And yet, it’s only about 3 hours from Johannesburg. Once you leave Joburg, the road is pretty straightforward, and you quickly find yourself in a much wilder Africa.
Marakele National Park was a huge surprise for us. There are plenty of animals, the Big Five are present, but best of all, very few people. At times, we drove for quite a while without seeing another car. It’s such a change from parks where you sometimes end up with 15 cars around one animal.
The landscapes are also stunning, with the Waterberg mountains, plains, and beautiful views from some of the trails.
We also learned on-site that Marakele is known for its very large Cape vulture colony—around 800 breeding pairs. When you climb into the mountains and see them soaring above, it’s pretty impressive.
The entire Waterberg region is actually a UNESCO-recognized biosphere reserve, and you quickly understand why once you’re there.
As for Cypiro, it’s a lodge that was recently taken over by French owners—really nice and approachable. The place is quite exclusive since there are very few accommodations. The villas and suites each have their own private pool, a wood-fired hot bath (like a KolKol), a braai, and an outdoor fireplace.
Evenings are especially lovely, especially with the peace and quiet all around.
Another thing we found really convenient: you can organize your stay however you like.
You can come self-catering and cook for yourself. There’s a supermarket in the nearby small town, practically on the way in, so you can do your shopping before arriving without making a big detour.
Or you can ask them to organize everything with breakfasts, lunches, and dinners. Their chef, Ernest, cooks really well, and it lets you completely unwind for a few days.
We liked being able to alternate: some quiet meals on our own and others prepared for us.
That’s actually one of the things we appreciated here—it’s not an ultra-formal lodge where everything is scheduled at fixed times. You can head out early to Marakele, come back for lunch, enjoy the pool, go back out in the late afternoon, then have a braai or a relaxed dinner in the evening.
In terms of price, we also found the value for money really good for this level of accommodation and especially for the very private feel of the place. Sometimes it feels like you’re in a much more expensive lodge.
If you’re looking for lots of activity and dozens of people around you, this probably isn’t the right spot.
But for peace, wildlife, nature, wide-open spaces, and that feeling of being a little alone in the world, we absolutely loved it.

And if anyone knows Marakele or the Waterberg well, I’d love to hear about other spots to discover in the area.
While digging through the archives 🔍, we discovered a 19th-century journal 📜 bearing the name: "Le Petit Baigneur, weekly journal of beaches, spa towns, and thermal resorts in the South of France", published as early as 1886. Its motto? "All for the baths and by the baths" 🏖️ — what a program!
We found the name so amusing that we chose it to rename our hotel: Hôtel Le Petit Baigneur!
140 years later, we’re carrying on this seaside tradition of the South of France in our own way 🏊♂️ — with a few fewer crinolines, but just as much love for the seaside. 😊

I found a hotel, the Kappa Club Crystal Bay Resort, and online reviews for this hotel recommend a guide named Omar. I contacted him via WhatsApp, and he's offering a 2-day, 1-night safari in Tsavo East, a "blue safari," and a Marafa Canyon day trip for 400 € per person.
I’m asking for help from people who’ve already done these excursions because I have no idea what these offers entail.

I was thinking of going to Martinique, but apparently, the hotels aren’t all-inclusive, which might be a hassle. If you have any advice, that’d be great. Otherwise, I was considering Mexico—a long-time dream. At an all-inclusive hotel with accessibility on one level (since I’m independent but in a wheelchair). Can anyone recommend 5 or 6 hotel names that meet the following criteria? (I’m not too picky, lol)

2. Adults-only
3. Beautiful beach and pool
4. Hotel for relaxing (no "factory hotels")
5. One-week stay in February 2026
6. A nice hotel (3 or 4 stars) but no need for an ultra-palace
Oh, and I almost forgot the main thing 😉: budget between 3500 € and 4000 € for two, including flights from Montreal-Mexico-Montreal.

We’ll be in Venice from March 20th to 24th, and I’m looking (for two couples) for a hotel close to St. Mark’s Square—my husband can’t walk long distances. For four nights with breakfast, our budget is around 1,400 € per couple. To avoid too much walking for him, I’d also prefer a hotel where we could potentially eat dinner in the evenings.

You can’t pay online there—you just submit a reservation request (enquiry).
The second is the NWR (Namibia Wildlife Resorts) site: https://www.nwr.com.na, where you *can* pay online.
Is the latter one reliable?

Bonjour nous arriverons dimanche 5 mai ( à partir de 16h25) à l'aéroport de Punta Cana pour profiter d'un séjour que mon amie à gagner à l’hôtel Gran Bahia Principe La Romana.
L'avion est offert par la compagnie aérienne, l'hôtel je pense par la chaine hôtelière, mais aujourd'hui je m’inquiète du transfert car aucune info et j'apprends que rien n'est prévu.
D’après ce que j'ai vu le dernier car expreso part de Punta Cana à 16h00
Y-a t'il d'autres moyens de transports collectif (guagua) qui puisse faire le trajet ou au moins nous avancer jusqu'à La Romana ou San Pedro de Marcoris et je pense qu'on finira le trajet en taxi.
Si c'est trop compliqué ça sera navette privée mais on est plus "lonely planet " que navette privée et hôtel tout inclus.

A ce jour elles n apparaissent plus sur mon compte Booking , j en ai informé par mail le service clients mais ce dernier ne repond pas ...donc impossible d annuler ces reservations....Quelqu un a t il connu ce probleme et l a t il resolu ???
