Je souhaiterais me rendre aux Etats-Unis en février! J'aimerais suivre des cours d'anglais pour une durée de trois mois et visiter le territoire pour une durée de deux mois. Je dois donc demander un visa F1 qui n'est valable que pendant la durée des études. Que dois-je faire pour rester légalement sur le territoire pendant les deux mois restant?
Il me semble qu'après les 3 mois d'études ( pour toi dans ce cas) tu as 60j "sabbatiques", donc ton visa F1 sera toujours valable.
Mais ces 60j sont censés te donner de la marge pour t'organiser à revenir dans ton pays ( la France je suppose pour toi)
Donc en gros, tu n'as rien a faire pour rester. Mais si tu restes plus que les deux mois, tu risques d'avoir des problèmes avec la douane américaine

Pour ma part, je trouverai "rassurant" de savoir qu'une personne se renseigne sur l'arrivée et le départ des Etats-Unis afin de rester dans la légalité. Tant que ce n'est pas pour travailler et que tu arrives à prouver que tu reviendras après tes "études", je pense que ça devrait le faire 😉
Avec le visa F1, tu n'as pas le droit d'arriver plus de 30 jours avant la date de début de tes cours. Cette date est indiquée sur ton I-20. Donc tu peux venir 29 jours en avance par prudence.
Quand tes cours sont fini, ton I-20 sera périmé. Pareil, la date est indiquée sur le I-20. Tu auras droit a 60 jours sur le territoire, à ne pas dépasser!!

J ai eu 3 visa étudiants et le 3 eme est encore valable jusqu en 2022. Aujourd’hui j’étudie en Espagne et en décembre dernier j ai fait une demande de visa b2 tourist mais j ai été refusé. Je sais que l esta n est plus pour moi mais mon visa étudiant est il encore valable? Car mon université en Espagne a un partenariat pour faire un échange avec une université américaine. Puis je utiliser ce visa ou il a été automatiquement supprimé en vue de mon refus ?

Pourquoi avoir demander un visa touristique si tu avais un visa étudiant valide? Logique qu ele premier ai été refusé, comme le deuxième était toujours bon...
merci pour votre réponse, non le visa étudiant n'étais plus valide car j'avais fini mon i2à depuis debut juillet et a ce moment de la demande c'était janvier 2019. l'université américaine m as demande de refaire une demande auprès de l'ambassade
