j'ai reserve un voyage combiné via promovacances nil/mer rouge pour deux semaines fin juillet / debut aout.
nous sommes 2 adultes et 2 enfants (4 et 8 ans)
l'hotel est le calimera de hurghada, et je recherche des infos recentes sur cet hotel.
plus precisement, la plage? faut il des sandales speciales? peut on nager ou est ce totalement exclu vu la hauteur de la mer?
avec des enfants que peut on faire là bas? y a t il des excursions en bateau? peut on aller voir les dauphins?
y a t il des sorties masque tuba? ou et comment reserver les excursions? quels sont les tarifs?
de maniere generale, si vous etes alle dans cet hotel recemment, que pouvez vous m'en dire (proprete, nourriture, logement....)
concernant la croisiere sur le nil, il s'agit d'une croisiere 4*
comme pour le calimera, j'ai lu bcp de choses, plus ou moins recentes et surtout aux antipodes les unes des autres
certains disent que la croisiere en 4* c'est l'experience à ne pas vivre, d'autres au contraire disent avoir ete melange avec des gens qui avaient paye pour 5*
y a t il quelqu'un pour mapporter des infos?

J'aimerais en savoir plus sur les excursions que propose l'hotel calimera 4* d'Hurgada, car j'aimerais voir des pyramides ou faire du chameau, connaitre le prix de cela, merci pour vos réponses !!!

effectivement il y a tres peu de temoignages sur cet hotel et encore moins recents...
je me pose pas mal de questions concernant le voyage en avion (horaires....),
la croisiere : qualite du 4* et que represente reellement la partie tout inclus niveau boissons... faut il acheter de l'eau à cote, que vaut la nourriture, les excursions, quelles sont celles non incluses dans le programme et qu'il faut absolument ajouter (a part abou simbel)
l'hotel: comment est la plage, faut il des chaussures speciales, quelles sont les excursions à faire depuis l'hotel, notamment sur bateau pour faire du snorkelling (sachant que j'y vais avec deux enfants dont un trop petit pour nager sans bouee....)
concernant la qualite de l'hotel, à part le cote un peu vieillot des chambres et le fait qu'il soit frequente principalement par des allemands (et russes), il semble plutot pas mal noté...
je te souhaite de bonnes vacances et n'oublies pas de ramener plein d'infos!!

l'hotel calimera est un bon hotel sois rassuree.
il faut savoir qu'il est situé tres tres au nord d'hurghada, vers elgouna, ce qui le rend un peu loin du centre ville si vous souhaitez bouger, si vous voulez aller au souk ou au centre ville, il faut emprunter des navettes ou prendre un taxi
pour ma part nous avions fait une semaine avant sur le nil donc on avait fait pas mal de sorties et une fois à l'hotel nous voulions surtout nous reposer...
nous avons fait deux sorties en mer qui etaient tres bien.
tu peux passer par promovacances ou par les agences qui sont dans l'hotel, tout est identique.
si tu souhaites faire des sorties tu peux aller au souk d'hurghada (aucun interet, hurghada n'est pas une ville interessante, uniquement balneaire), tu peux aller sur elgouna (station tres reputee), tu peux faire le caire en une journee, depart tres tres tot retour tres tres tard le soir, ou louxor. il y a egalement des sorties quad, sur la journee ou jusqu'au soir avec diner... bref, pas mal de choses à voir si tu souhaites bouger.
c'est un hotel extremement grand, il y a bcp de monde et le restaurant principal est vraiment bruyant. cela dit, il y a des services de repas au niveau du bar de la plage, et deux autres resto sur reservation.
l'hotel est tres propre, la nourriture est bonne et variee, les buffets sont consequents
les piscines sont tres belles et propre, la plage au bord de l'hotel est tres agreable, en revanche il te faudra prevoir des chaussures pour entrer dans l'eau car il y a beaucoup de coraux.
si tu y vas avec des enfants, c'est un veritable paradis pour eux. les miens etaient enchantes.

At all-inclusive resorts, base salaries are extremely low for 10- to 12-hour workdays. Tips aren’t just a little extra—they often make up half of these families’ income.
Personally, I always prepare an envelope with euro bills in different denominations before I leave (they exchange them easily on-site). Here’s my method:
🛏️ For housekeeping: I leave a bill on the pillow every morning since schedules rotate daily.
🍽️ For servers: I always sit at the same table. At the end of the trip, I give an envelope to each server who took care of us daily.
🎉 For entertainment: I set aside an envelope for the animator who put in the most effort and really touched me.
The package covers the hotel, but our tips help support the people who make our vacations magical. Don’t forget to budget for this in cash when you pack!

For my husband's 50th birthday, we're going to Mombasa for 10 days and 8 nights in March 2026.
I found a hotel, the Kappa Club Crystal Bay Resort, and online reviews for this hotel recommend a guide named Omar. I contacted him via WhatsApp, and he's offering a 2-day, 1-night safari in Tsavo East, a "blue safari," and a Marafa Canyon day trip for 400 € per person.
I’m asking for help from people who’ve already done these excursions because I have no idea what these offers entail.

I was thinking of going to Martinique, but apparently, the hotels aren’t all-inclusive, which might be a hassle. If you have any advice, that’d be great. Otherwise, I was considering Mexico—a long-time dream. At an all-inclusive hotel with accessibility on one level (since I’m independent but in a wheelchair). Can anyone recommend 5 or 6 hotel names that meet the following criteria? (I’m not too picky, lol)
1. All-inclusive
2. Adults-only
3. Beautiful beach and pool
4. Hotel for relaxing (no "factory hotels")
5. One-week stay in February 2026
6. A nice hotel (3 or 4 stars) but no need for an ultra-palace
Oh, and I almost forgot the main thing 😉: budget between 3500 € and 4000 € for two, including flights from Montreal-Mexico-Montreal.

Hi there, I’m a 43-year-old woman planning to travel solo in early March. I’m not really into "commercial resorts," but if I find a place that fits my criteria, I might be interested. To add to the info in the title, I’m open to various activities, but ideally, it’d include snorkeling, hiking, dance (every evening if possible!), group tours, etc. I’d love to meet people (not necessarily a man—just people in general!). I’m not necessarily aiming for the cheapest resort, but since it’s spring break week and everything’s already pricier, 5-star options are probably out of the question. Thanks!

We’ll be in Venice from March 20th to 24th, and I’m looking (for two couples) for a hotel close to St. Mark’s Square—my husband can’t walk long distances. For four nights with breakfast, our budget is around 1,400 € per couple. To avoid too much walking for him, I’d also prefer a hotel where we could potentially eat dinner in the evenings.

You can’t pay online there—you just submit a reservation request (enquiry).
The second is the NWR (Namibia Wildlife Resorts) site: https://www.nwr.com.na, where you *can* pay online.
Is the latter one reliable?

Bonjour nous arriverons dimanche 5 mai ( à partir de 16h25) à l'aéroport de Punta Cana pour profiter d'un séjour que mon amie à gagner à l’hôtel Gran Bahia Principe La Romana.
L'avion est offert par la compagnie aérienne, l'hôtel je pense par la chaine hôtelière, mais aujourd'hui je m’inquiète du transfert car aucune info et j'apprends que rien n'est prévu.
D’après ce que j'ai vu le dernier car expreso part de Punta Cana à 16h00
Y-a t'il d'autres moyens de transports collectif (guagua) qui puisse faire le trajet ou au moins nous avancer jusqu'à La Romana ou San Pedro de Marcoris et je pense qu'on finira le trajet en taxi.
Si c'est trop compliqué ça sera navette privée mais on est plus "lonely planet " que navette privée et hôtel tout inclus.

A ce jour elles n apparaissent plus sur mon compte Booking , j en ai informé par mail le service clients mais ce dernier ne repond pas ...donc impossible d annuler ces reservations....Quelqu un a t il connu ce probleme et l a t il resolu ???
