Je vis depuis plusieurs années en Thailande , avec mon amie Thai,
Nous avons l'intention de s'éxpatrier au Maroc et ce définitivement,
Je voudrais des renseignements sur les formalités administratives , surtout pour elle,
Je suis retraité et en possession du visa 0/A,

Avant de penser à une expatriation au Maroc, il serait bénéfique, je pense de venir faire un test de 3 mois de vie ici.
Car le Maroc est probablement très différent de la Thaïlande ( que je ne connais pas )
Ne serait ce que pour savoir où vous poser, et voir si le pays, le mode de vie, et la mentalité vous conviennent.
En tant que Français vous pouvez rester ici 3 mois d'affilée avec votre simple passeport en cours de validité.
Pour votre amie Thaï, il faudra un visa.
Après, soit vous ressortez tous les deux et revenez ensuite pour une nouvelle période de 3 mois, soit vous vous établissez ici et vous demandez alors la carte de résident, qui vous sera délivrée pour un an.
Bah tu paieras des impôts au Maroc à la place... même si ceux ci sont moindres pour les retraités français, grâce à des accords entre les deux pays, ils existent quand même. Ils ne concernent pas ton amie, mais seulement toi.
En ce qui concerne la méthode des trois mois de séjour dont t'a parlé Lacalo, elle n'est pas possible pour ton amie, puisque les Thaïlandais ne sont pas dispensés de visa pour un séjour au Maroc, même touristique. Or cette méthode des "trois mois" est une tolérance administrative, la législation sur les visas de tourisme ne l'autorise normalement pas. Il y a 99,9% de risques que le visa touristique de ton amie ne soit pas renouvelé.
En ce qui concerne le visa de long séjour, qui sera donc obligatoire pour elle au bout de trois mois (puisqu'elle n'aura pas droit au visa touristique plusieurs fois de suite...) elle devra justifier d'un moyen d'existence au Maroc. Sa demande sera en effet examinée sans tenir compte de votre relation. Soit elle justifie de rentes suffisantes pour vivre au Maroc, soit elle devra y travailler. Et pour y travailler il lui faut un permis de travail.
Après, il y a un élément qu'il ne faut pas négliger : le Maroc est un pays musulman. Il y a beaucoup de racisme, même si les gens n'en parlent pas. C'est beaucoup plus dirigé vers les "subsahariens", mais j'ai une de mes amies, chinoise, pour laquelle la vie n'a pas été facile tous les jours. Il faudra tenir compte de cet aspect, lorsque vous choisirez l'endroit où vous installer.

Je connais le Maroc, pour y avoir séjourné à plusieurs reprises (vacances).
Vous avez raison il faut avant tout éffectuer un séjour de trois mois, afin que mon amie Thai en juge par elle même si le pays lui conviens, je pense y séjourner courant 2014 et ce à Agadir.
Je vais me renseigné auprés de l'ambassade Thai des formalités administratives pour son visa.
Ici nous un petit restaurant FRANCO/THAI, qui marche trés bien, mais nous voulons nous reposer et connaitre un autre univers.

Effectivement, m'a échappé le paramètre du renouvellement du visa de 3 mois de votre amie Thaï qui risque de ne pas être accepté.

La seule solution qui lui restera, si vous souhaitez vous y installer, sera de demander le statut de résidente, avec les démarches administratives qui l'accompagnent, souvent contraignantes, notamment au niveau des justifications de ressources...
Les retraités qui rapatrient toute leur retraite au Maroc peuvent bénéficier d'avantages fiscaux ( 80 % d'abattement ) mais il faut penser au coût de la couverture sociale ( CFE ou assurance privée ) qui n'est pas négligeable !
Mais vous n'en êtes pas là : venez d'abord tester la vie ici pour voir si vous vous y plaisez... C'est la priorité !

Pourquoi ne payeriez vous pas d'impôt ? Et sans les avantages consentis aux retraités français qui font domicilier leur retraite au Maroc (et uniquement pour cette partie de leur retraite), vous payeriez, à revenu égal, plus d'impôt au Maroc qu'en France.

Les marocains parlent de "source de revenus", il est trop facile de faire un virement sur un compte bancaire juste pour la demande de visa, et de le rembourser ensuite :)
Et si le transfert est fait sur un compte bancaire marocain, la convertibilité est limitée.

Pour aller au Sénégal, en touriste, il vous faudra à tous les deux un visa.
Et je ne pense pas que ce soit compliqué pour en obtenir un pour le Maroc.
Par contre pour y vivre, si vous voulez rester plus de 3 mois, il vous faudra aussi demander la carte de séjour et donc justifier de conditions de ressources ... et acquitter l'impôt sur le revenu.
Si votre commerce marche bien Thaïlande, réfléchissez bien avant de tout laisser tomber !

After living for many years in the West (Belgium, Italy, Switzerland),
I’ve decided to return and settle in Cameroon, my home country.
Currently an entrepreneur in real estate and transport, I’m looking for a partner / partners / foundation to collaborate on an agriculture project, as I own 10 hectares of land.
The hectares have remained unused for years due to a lack of financial means, since the project requires what I’d call a considerable investment. As the main stakeholder, I have a minimal contribution to offer.
I believe it’s time to bring this space to life to meet pressing needs and serve the common good of society.
The project is simple:
1) Grow maize + build a processing plant to produce flour
2) Open a mini supermarket + a modern bakery using the flour for pastries, etc.
3) Build a healthcare service
4) Build a nursery and primary school
5) Construct free housing for retired expatriates in exchange for their voluntary contributions in their respective fields.
This is a project I truly believe in, and I invite anyone interested to add their personal touch—whether through advice, guidance, or involvement.

If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).
