😏 pondy est une ville trés facile à vivre et trés agréable et surtout sans soucis pour une fille seule!!!je l'ai fais à 20 ans et à 30.Pour le logement, tout dépend ce qu'elle va faire la bàs.IL y a l'association des soeurs de cluny rue Romain Rolland dirigée par soeur thérèse qui peut héberger ceux qui viennent travailler pour elle!!!mais attention elle déteste le touriste qui veut se donner bonne conscience !!!!c'est toute fois un personnage extraordinaire.
SINON il y a l'association indra france pondichery qui se situe à dubrayapet au bout du quai gingee salai, demander le docteur balasubramanian, on peut faire du bénévolat chez eux, ils n'hebergent pas vraiment mais connaissent en général des gens qui peuvent hébergér.
IL Y a aussi l'alliance française, et les profs du lycée français qui ont souvent une grande maison!😉
🙂heu.. désolé d' être un peu rabat-joie mais à mon avis pour une jeune fille seule en Inde, ce n'est pas facile du tout ! (voir les différents sujets sur la question sur le forum)
Si tout vas bien, être constamment reluqué avec insistance du matin au soir par la population et les hommes en général, s'efforcer de ne pas porter de vêtements trop provoquant pour eux (ordinaire pour nous) la mentalité complètement différente, etc..
Sinon, si la jeune femme en question reste en permanence dans les beaux quartiers, dans la ville 'blanche', le consulat, l'alliance française, la plage on l'on se baigne pas, si elle fréquente les blancs vivants sur eux même en AC, il est clair qu'il n'arrivera pas grand chose, mais quel ennuie!
Pondy, on découvre un peu près tout en 1 semaine et après ..
Vaut mieux prendre un ou une partenaire de voyage et VIVRE !!Voyager et découvrir le magnifique peuple de l'inde du sud!!! mais je peux aussi me tromper, OK?🙂
En général je suis asses d'accord avec ta façon de parler des indiens de l'Inde du Sud, mais là je te trouve un peu trop négatif. Et en plus tu risques de faire peur à ZORBA qui va voir partir sa fille là-bas seule.
C'est vrai qu'on en a vite fait le tour de Pondi mais on peut aussi passer beaucoup de temps à observer et à écouter les bruits de l'Inde...les choses et les gens que l'on y voit sont si surprenants ! Ce n'est pas comme en France où tout nous est "habitude" et habituel. En Inde, même après un an on peut encore tellement être surpris ! J'ai personnellement passé des heures à observer et écouter de mon balcon sans jamais m'ennuyer. Tout est si différent que chez nous !
Le côté vestimentaire et comportement sont importants, cette jeune fille n'aura jamais aucun problème si elle respecte les habitudes de la femmes indienne: ne jamais montrer ses jambes ni ses épaules...Et dans le fond les yeux si noirs et le regard si profond des indiens sur nous n'est pas désagréable pour une femme..
Il est vrai aussi que la plage est crade voir carrement "décharge" et "WC", que l'eau est tout aussi repoussante, que l'on ne trouve pas de terrasses dans les rues ou les places pour boire un petit coup comme en France, que les discothèques sont inexistantes...etc...etc. Mais peut-être que la fille de ZORBA n'a pas besoin de tout celà pour être bien ? Qu'elle se contentera durant ces 6 mois de ce que l'Inde a de magique....
Je lui souhaite que l'inde du sud lui plaise autant qu'elle a pu me passionner.

Ma fille veut interrompre ses études un an, et quoi de plus attirant que de le passer en Inde. De vos réactions je comprends qu'il faut arriver en pays de connaissance (compatriotes, amis, humanitaire.......) et de là s'habituer au mode de vie, s'aventurer et découvrir l'Inde, ou voyager à deux.
Elle se renseigne pour un point de chute, mais que c'est difficile à 15000 km
Pondy est un trés bon point de chute pour se préparer à voyager avec un ou une copine dans l'Inde du sud 🙂
Votre fille pourra résider quelques jours aussi à Auroville sans probleme! Elle évitera ainsi la polution et profitera de l'excellente Bakery sur place (boulangerie patisserie). Tout près, il y a un trés bon resto, Roma's Kitchen.😉
Je peux me tromper, mais si tu souhaites VOYAGER 6 mois pour la 1er fois en Inde, un compagnon, ou un groupe serait idéal.

c exactement ca ms je veux faire le max de choses trouve tu que ces massages sont encrées au quotidien chez les hindoues ou si c plus pour les touriste
je me rends en vacances dans le sud de l'inde. Mes partent partent en vacances à pondichery, j'en profite pour les rejoindre pour me reposer. Etant originaire de la bas j'ai eu l'occasion de me balader la bas.
Donc je peux apporter quelques infos.
Pour les cotés incontournables, le guide du routard ou l'ambassade sont amplements suffisants.
Mais les petits villages alentours avec leurs coutumes, ça peut être une manière de voir la vraie culture de l'inde.

After living for many years in the West (Belgium, Italy, Switzerland),
I’ve decided to return and settle in Cameroon, my home country.
Currently an entrepreneur in real estate and transport, I’m looking for a partner / partners / foundation to collaborate on an agriculture project, as I own 10 hectares of land.

If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).
