Nous partons dans un mois à la Réunion et il nous manque quelque informations nécessaires pour scéler nos valises.
Nous avons fait les vaccins obligatoires pour notre chien, seulement il me semble qu'il y a un traitement non obligatoire mais fortement conseillé. Est-ce quelqu'un peut me faire passer l'info?
Nous aurions voulu aussi savoir s'il est possible, dés l'arrivée, de disposer de consignes (ou quelconque endroit sécurisé où l'on pourait poser nos surplus de bagages en attendant de trouver un logement).
Dernière question, peut-on emprunter les transports en commun avec un chien?

moi je pars en guyane avec mon chien, et en posant des questions sur ce forum, il y a K974qui vit en réunion qui m'a répondu ceci:
"je t'écris au sujet de ton chien, on vit à la reunion, et je ne sais pas si en guyane, il y a aussi la dirofilariose (il ft que le chien prenne un comprimé par mois), mais on a aussi la spirocercose, comme en guyane, et là, dès que ton chien tousse ou a du mal à manger, tu peux lui faire des injections d'un produit qui est en fait destiné aux bovins...mes 4 chiens ont eu cette maladie et du coup, je les traite desormais en preventif. "

en fait, hormis les vaccins a jour et lui donner de bons antipuces (milbemax est un des meilleurs et proteges puces + moustiques et autres), tu ne peux quasiment rien trouver chez les vétos. tout simplement parce que la guyane comme la réunion sont des départements (ou territoires, je sais pas) français....
et comme c'est en france, betes et diciplinés, il faut rien de plus !!!
c'est illogique selon moi mais c'est ce que j'ai constaté.

on a 4 chiens, on est arrivé avec 6 mais deux st dcd de vieillesse; pour le voyage, vaut mieux donner du quietude, car le calmivet, peut causer des soucis

pfffffff faut juste que j'achete une cage pour le transport... alors que cette "pauvre bète" n'est meme jamais en laisse.

L'installation à la reunion avec un chien ce n'est pas trop compliqué!!! Moi je suis arrivée avec mon chien il y a 5 mois et je n'ai pas fait grand chose de plus que ce qui est obligatoire vaccins et certificat de bonne santé datant de moins de 10 jours avant le depart ( cela depend ensuite des compagnie aerienne) Sinon prevoir ttt anti puce et tique car ici ils sont coriaces!!!!! pour ce qui est es transport en communs je ne sais pas mais je pense qu a la sortie de l aeropor en taxi si il est dans sa caisse ca devrai pas poser de souci!!!

After living for many years in the West (Belgium, Italy, Switzerland),
I’ve decided to return and settle in Cameroon, my home country.

If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).
