Je suis instructeur de plongée, et j'ai trouvé un contrat de un an pour travailler aux Maldives. Je vais travailler sur l'ile de Kandooma dans l’atoll de Male sud. Départ prévu le 2 juin 2011.
Je voudrais discuter avec des gens qui ont fait l’expérience d'un contrat aux Maldives, les souvenirs qu'ils en gardent, l'ambiance qui regne sur ces îles-hôtels...
On me propose un contrat comme j'en ai jamais eut, billets d'avion payés, un mois de congés payé, 1 jour par semaine, 1 an d'assurance DAN payé, nourrit, logé avec un salaire variant entre 1100 et 1500 euros par mois suivant la saison.
Je suis preneur de tous conseils, toute expérience qu'elle soit bonne ou mauvaise.
Je sais très bien qu'il n'y a aucun divertissement, que a part la plongée il n'y a rien d'autre a faire mais j'y vais vraiment pour la qualité des plongées et pour me faire une bonne expérience dans le tourisme de haute qualité. Mon but est de mettre le maximum d'argent de coté pendant un an dans le but de retourner au Mexique après pour m'y installer définitivement. Bien sur d'ici là, les projets peuvent changer suivant les opportunités et dieu sait qu'il y en a quand on voyage...
A bientôt peut être sous les eaux turquoises des Maldives, pour des plongées je pense, inoubliables...

JE suis parti en Thailande en avril ou j'ai passé mes deux 1ers brevets SSI, c'était géant et j'ai vraiment envie d'aller plus loin... devenir instructeur.
Ma copine vient de terminer aujourd'hui meme ses études en tourisme et on projette de partir ensemble.
Lorsque j'étais en thaiande, on m'a dit que aux maldives, il était possible de trouver des jobs pour couples dans des resorts et j'ai donc vraiment envie d'en savoir plus à tous niveaux...

Je viens de recevoir une proposition d'un an pour travailler sur Rihiveli, je n'ai pas encore les termes précis du contrat mais je me prends à rêver et donc je suis curieuse de connaitre ton opinion, acclimatation, quotidien, conditions de travail, climat et ambiance.
J'ai l'habitude de voyager et de travailler à l'étranger mais je ne suis pas encore grisée alors c'est toujours à chaque fois un peu la première fois et j'adore!

ça fait 4 mois que je suis aux maldives! J'ai travaillé a Kandooma (j'ai pas aimé), a Kani (j'ai adoré), sur l'attol explorer (j'ai adoré) et là je retourne bosser a rihiveli! J'y est travaillé un mois au debut de mon contrat et c'etait genial! C'est moi qui est demandé a y retourner! L'ambiance est super relax, et tres sympa, pas de regles a la con! tout le monde marche pied nues! bref, j'adore cet endroit, mon manager est un bon copain a moi, super sympa! j'y retourne aujourd'hui meme! Je viens de passer une semaine sur un bateau, et j'attend mon transfert!
Ne t'attends pas a de grosses fetes, ça n'existe pas aux maldives, sauf a Kani (club med!!!) Mais on fait quand meme la fete entre nous, souvent! tous les vendredi il y a la white party, c'est bien sympa!

ça fait 4 mois que je suis aux maldives, j'ai bossé a kani, kandooma, rihiveli, et sur un safari boat!
aux maldives, tout depend sur quel ile tu tombes, ça peux genial, ça peut etre aussi horrible! chaque ile est differente, l'ambiance est differente, et les regles aussi! Mon ile prefere, celle ou je me sents le mieux, c'est rihiveli, j'ai pas aimé kandooma parce que rien a faire le soir, ambiance tendu, bref....
j'ai bien aimé Kani, c'est un club med, bonne possibilité d'embauche pour un couple! j'ai aimé bossé sur le bateau aussi, mais j'y resterai pas un an!
pour repondre a tes questions:
- par une copine qui bossait deja aux maldives
- je parle français, anglais, espagnol, mais français, anglais suffit, ça depend sur quel ile tu bosses!
- Je suis instructeur padi MSDT et ssi, mais ici je ne bosse que avec padi
- mon resort, c'est rihiveli, pour les photos il faut voir mon facebook! emmanuel dubeuf
- ça fait 4 mois maintenant, et ce que je pense est: tout depend de sur quel ile tu tombes
- Les plongées sont splendides, les meilleurs que j'ai fait de ma vie!! beaucoup de requins, tortues, mantas, eagle rays, stingray, big tunas...
aussi du macro, tres beau!!!!! par contre, souvent un fort courant, tu as toujours une formation au debut du contrat pour apprendre a plonger maldives!
Pour resumé, mon experience aux maldives est une tres bonne experience!
ps: obligation d'etre nitrox instructeur, tu peux le passer sur place!

C'est subjectif c'est sur mais c'est déjà un très bon point!
J'attends cette semaine l'offre du resort de l'ile et j'espère qu'elle me permettra de vivre l'aventure car la vie sur les iles n'est pas donnée...
J'ai eu un très bon contact avec un des managers.
Pour ce qui est de la grosse fiesta, je m'en doutais bien, cela doit ressembler à l'ambiance de la Malaisie soit dit en passant que j'ai adore et l'Indonésie ou je suis restée 6mois.
De ce point de vue la je ne suis pas trop inquiète, j'ai habité en Égypte alors les règles, us et coutumes, j'ai un peu l'habitude mais il est vrai qu'en tant que nana, je chéris aussi la liberté.
Le manager m'a dit pas de tv ni radio dans les chambres mais j'espère l'accès à internet wifi sans pb?
J'imagine aussi que c'est l'employeur qui gère la partie papiers et Visa de travail, non?Comme dans les autres pays de la région...
En ce qui concerne la cochonnaille, je peux m'en passer j'ai l'habitude, qu'en est il des cigarettes et alcool sur place?
Y a-t-il un duty free pour les résidents ou autre plan?

Pour l'alcool a rihiveli, on a 170 dollars de credits par mois, et 50% de discount si tu depasses! ça fait une biere a 3$ par exemple. Tu peux boire ce que tu veux ya pas de soucis. Pour les cigarettes, il y a un magasin pour le staff ou tu peux trouver gel douche, shampoing....
un paquet de camel coute 2.30$.
Pour internet, on a pas internet dans les chambres, tu as le wifi a la reception. Apres, moi j'ai acheté une carte 3g watanya, ça coute pas chere du tout, mais ça rame un peu. A rihiveli, tu auras une chambre pour toi toute seule, pas besoin de partager, ce qui n'est pas le cas de partout aux Maldives. Ic il n'y a pas de regles ou tres peu, contrairement aux autres resorts ou j'ai bossé aux Maldives. C'est un peu pour ça que j'aime bien cette ile, on est tres libre, et l'ambiance est tres bonne et relax! Quand tu n'as pas de plongeurs tu es off, pas besoin de faire des heures de bureaux. Normalement on tourne a trois, donc moi, Andrea qui est le futur manager (super cool), et un autre instructeur (peut etre toi!!!!). Pour le visa, ils s'occupent de tout, tu dois avoir l'assurance dan obligatoire, être en status actif padi.

Je suis dans le meme cas j`aimerais partir bosser aux maldives. Je cherche un contrat pour le moment. Mais vu que tu est la bas depuis juin tu peut certainement me donner un apercu de la vie et de ton quotidien. Et si tu a entendu un centre recherchant un instructeur francais et parlant couramment anglais. Je suis preneur!
Moi je suis aux Maldives depuis le 2 juin, donc 5 mois maintenant. Les Maldives c'est très different suivant l'ile ou tu tombes.
Au debut j'étais a Kandooma et je n'aimais pas du tout l'ambiance la bas. Trop de regles pour le staff et rien a faire apres 17h30, ambiance pourri. Apres j'ai travaillé 2 semaines pour un remplacement au club med Kani, là, c'étais autre chose! Grosse ambiance tout les soirs, tres bonne ambiance dans le staff! Apres j'ai travaillé sur l'atoll explorer, c'est un bateau de croisiere, c'etait genial de bouger chaques jours pour plonger dans des endroits different, j'y suis resté une semaine pour un remplacement aussi!
Maintenant je suis de retour a rihiveli, mon ile prefere et de loin des maldives. J'y avais deja bossé pour un remplacement et j'avais demandé a y retourner. Ici, l'ambiance est tres bien, les clients se melangent au staff, les plongées sont superbes. Donc je pense rester ici jusqu'a la fin de mon contrat, voir plus si je resigne un an. L'avantage de ma boite, c'est que si tu es bon, tu peux vite monté en grade, si je resigne pour un an, je peux peut etre devenir assistant manager. Plus gros salaire et ça fait une belle ligne dans un cv.
Pour resumé, les Maldives, tout depend de l'endroit ou tu tombes, en general, moins ya d'etoiles et plus c'est simpa pour le staff.
