Je suis une jeune étudiante de 21 ans qui souhaite à tout prix, plus que parfaire son anglais, découvrir l'Irlande, partir à l'aventure! Je pense que travailler un mois ou deux à Dublin en été est une bonne solution. Comment faire pour trouver un job (je n'ai pas d'expérience...) un logement ? J'ai cru comprendre que le mieux est de tout chercher une fois là-bas mais cette option ne me rassure pas. N'existe-t-il pas des organismes qui puissent me prendre en charge? Et surtout, est-ce que quelqu'un parmi vous qui vit en Irlande ou compte partir comme moi pourrait m'aider?

Je crois qu'on est qqun sur ce forum à vouloir faire EXACTEMENT la même chose que toi, pour ma part en Irlande mais aussi en Ulster, en Ecosse bien que l'Irlande semble plus simple (monnaie commune notamment) et plus attirante.
Ca serait bete que l'on parte tous de notre côté en Irlande début juillet alors que le séjour à plusieurs serait plus sympathique.
J'essaye de te tenir au courant de mes recherches par msg privés.

Je m'apelle Alan, j'ai 22 ans et je suis dans la même situation que toi, j'aimerai bien trouver un job pour cet été en irlande et découvrir plus en détail le pays.
J'y susi allé cet été (seulement 10 jours) et j'aimerais bien y retourner plus longtemps pour voir plus de choses.
Mais ce sont plus des boulot de type CDI, pas un job d'été. En revance, ayant été labas, je sais que que beaucoup de pubs restaurant, fast food recherchent du monde (avec embauche immédiate) vu l'affluence de touristes.
Pour le loyer je ne sais pas trop comment ça se déroule mais si ça se passe comme pour l'angleterre (une caution et un loyer hebdomadaire) il est possible de se loger d'abord en auberge de jeunesse, puis trouver un appartement sur place. Le loyer est aparament très cher (surtout en centre ville) donc il faut faire de la colocation.
Pour les villes, je pense que c'est à dublin qu'il y a le plus de boulot (mais pas sur), mais en tout cas c'est une bonne base pour aller visiter le reste du pays (et voir aussi l'écosse par bateau).
Si jamais tu veux plus de détails ou si tu es interessé pour voyager ensemble, surtout n'hésite pas.

comme vous j'ai très envie de partir en irlande, pour perfectionner mon anglais et découvrir cette magnifique région.
passer par des associatiations ou d'autres intermédiaire représente pas mal de contraintes et aussi beaucoup d'argent, si on peut trouver un job sur place, comme tu le dis, sa serait sûrement beaucoup plus simple, aprs c'est sûr qu'on pourrait aussi économiser de l'argent avec une collocation.
Donc, si on est plusieurs à être motivé sa pourrait être sympa de partir ensemble(on parlerait anglais entre nous bien sûr), j'aimerais partir dès le mois de mai, et vous ?

Perso j'ai rarement vu deux francais parler anglais entre eux, meme quand on est en groupe avec des etrangers, on a tendance a parler francais entre nous.
Le conseil que l'on ma donne quand je suis arrive en irlande, et que je suis content d'avoir suivit : "evite les francais". C'est dur a faire, parceque Dublin est rempli de francais, parce que c'est toujours plus rassurant et plus facile de rester entre francais.
Mais si le but de votre voyage en Irlande est d'ameliorer votre anglais.....evitez vous au max. (surtout pas de colloc avec des francais !! c'est la base).
Il y a un paquet de francais qui partent a dublin pour ameliorer leur anglais, mais qui se retrouvent a bosser dans un call center francais, habitent en collocation avec des francais, et sortent entre francais.....
beaucoup de personnes proposent des collocation sur www.daft.ie, et generalement ils precisent les nationalites des autres collocataires.
mois c'est ce que j'en dit... apres, libre a chacun de vivre cette experience comme il veut.
il fait froid, il y a du vent, et quelques gouttes de pluie. Et pour etre completement honnette, j'ai qu'une envie, c'est de me barrer.
Je pense que Dublin c'est sympa quelques mois, mais c'est pas une ville ou j'ai envie de vivre (ca fait un an que j'y suis). Mauvais temps, rien a faire (surtout a cause du mauvais temps), tout est tres cher (loisirs, sports, nourriture, transports), la ville est sale, surchargee, les dublinois sont degoutants, saouls, impolis, confines dans leur derniere BMW a 200.000 euros.
Donc c'est sympa quelques temps, l'ambiance internationale, jeune, les pubs, les sorties.... mais moi ca ne m'attire plus....je crois que je deviens vieux....snif snif
quand tu sorts de dublin, tu t'apercoit que c'est ce que pense aussi la majorite des irlandais (pas que je soi vieux, mais ils n'aiment pas dublin). L'irlande est un pays magnifique, les irlandais sont adorables, chaleureux.... mais pas a Dublin.
Et puis le Celtic Tiger, c'est pour les irlandais seulement, ou pour toi si t'est bilingue avec une bonne experience professionnelle, et si t'as envie de rester plusieurs annees. Pour les reste, les etrangers font les boulots que les irlandais ne veulent pas faire (les polonais sur les chantiers, et le reste dans les pubs, restaurents, ou call centers)
Donc, en gros, Dublin c'est bien, en abuser ca craint !

Ca depends de ton experience, de ton domaine, de ton niveau d'anglais, de tes exigences, de la periode a laquelle tu y vas... dur a dire... certain trouvent en quelques jours, d'autre en quelques semaines. mais ca reste plus facile qu'en france (pour des petits boulots)
Est ce que les salaires sont correctes ?
le smic est de 340 euros par semaines je crois. (pour 40h) ...pour les petits boulots...net d'impots.

la bouffe environ 30% plus cher qu'en france, la pinte presque 5 euros, le ticket de bus €1.5, le sandwich en ville €5 . loyer €400 par mois . le fish and chips 8 euros (chez burdock's, le meilleur de Dublin !)

Je suis juste passe par belfast. donc je connais pas, mais je pense qu'economiquement c'est plus a la traine que Dublin, donc peut etre plus dur de trouver un job.
Parcontre j'ai passe 5 mois a Coleraine (erasmus). et je sais que les deux stations balneaires Portrush et Portsteawart sont une destination prisees pendant l'ete. donc ya pas mal de jobs dans les bar, resto, hotels. Et puis le coin et super sympa (grandes plages, falaises, pour moi parmis les plus beaux paysages d'irlande), ca reste des petites villes, mais Belfast et Derry ne sont pas loin.

finallement je me suis décidé à partir, je pars la semaine prochaine et je me suis dis si sa te dérange pas bien sûr qu'on pourrait se voir sur place, c'est toujours plus rassurant de " connaître " quelqu'un sur place .

Desole mais je ne pense pas que l'on pourra se voir. je ne bosse ni ne vit dans le centre, et j'ai des semaines assez chargees. et puis je finit mon boulot la semaine prochaine, loue une voiture pour quelques jours, et je quitte l'irlande dans la foulee.
J'y suis reste un an, et ca m'a bien suffit . L'hiver a ete fatal pour moi... le temps est vraiment trop pourri en hiver (surtout que je me tape 25 km en velo tous les jours pour aller et revenir du boulot)... maintenant je n'ai qu'un envie, vivre au soleil !
alors direction l'australie !!! .... mais avant ca quelques mois de voyage en europe...et en inde.

The hectares have remained unused for years due to a lack of financial means, since the project requires what I’d call a considerable investment. As the main stakeholder, I have a minimal contribution to offer.

If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).

Actually, I’m currently doing a postgraduate diploma in pediatric respiratory physiotherapy and want to specialize in that area.
