Actuellement, je vis à Toulouse et après 3 années en plein centre-ville, je ne supporte plus:
Les sirènes des voitures de police et pompiers
La pollution et la chaleur qui en découle l'été
Le bruit des klaxons
Enfin, vous avez bien compris 😎 je rêve d'un endroit calme où je pourrai élever mon petit bonhomme dont j'attends l'arrivée dans ma vie courant septembre.
J'aimerai avoir des avis sur la vie à Perpignan.
Est-il meilleur de vivre en dehors de la ville? ( je suis véhiculée)
Si oui, quelles petites villes ou villages à proximité me conseillerez-vous?

Perpignan, c'est pas vraiment la meilleure ville pour être au calme, surtout l'été, avec le bruit des voitures, la pollution, les bouchons vers les stations balnéaires et vers l'Espagne, et il n'y fait pas forcément moins chaud qu'à Toulouse.
Sinon, je ne sais pas quel est ton métier, mais le Languedoc-Roussillon est une région sinistrée avec plus de 30% de chômage...
Oui, d'ailleurs, si vraiment tu veux être au bord de la mer, va plutôt en Gironde ou dans les Landes. Bon, la Gironde près de la mer, c'est pas donné et c'est aussi très touristique, enfin, tous els bords de mer sont touristiques, mais c'est déjà plus "vert" qu'en Roussillon. Néanmoins, je te conseillerais les Landes (bien) plus calmes, mais peut-être moins de possibilités d'emploi. Inconvénient, il y fait aussi très chaud l'été. En fait, la chaleur va être partout, mais près de la côté atlantique, vous aurez un peu moins de pollution :)

Bonjour Caramelle79, j'ai habité Perpignan pendant quelques temps..
Il y a beaucoup de points positifs et quelques négatifs.
C'est un belle endroit logé entre mer et montagne, avec l'Espagne à proximité.
L'arrière pays est splendide est riche en patrimoine. Difficile de s'ennuyer!
Pour s'y installer, je te conseille ouest de Perpignan, plus calme et mieux fréquenté ( Saint-Esteve, Baho, Pezilla la rivière..).
Maintenant le point négatif: L'emploi
Voici un petit comparatif pour que tu puisses comparer avec ce que tu connais aujourd'hui.
Selon l'INSEE:
Perpignan un taux de chômage de 25,6 % et un taux de pauvreté de 30%
Toulouse un taux de chômage de 17,7% et un taux de pauvreté de 18,6%
En clair, trouvé du travail à Perpignan est compliqué sauf pour certaine profession. Je te conseille avant tout de regarder sur Pôle emploi ou Indeed quels sont tes chances de trouver un job.
Si ton job, te permet de vivre confortablement là-bas fonce, tu ne le regretteras pas.
Dans le cas contraire, je te conseille de rechercher ailleurs..
Je te conseille le site https://www.ville-ideale.fr il y a de nombreux avis sur les villes de France.
Tu trouveras peux être ta ville idéale.
Dernier conseil, si tu souhaites habiter à proximité de la mer, je te conseille d'avantage la facade l'Atlantique, plus dynamique économiquement et mieux fréquenté.
