Je prévois un voyage d'une semaine à Cuba aux environs du 14 janvier. Les informations sur la température m'inquiète quelque peu... Il semble que les statistiques situent la moyenne aux environs de 20-21. Et risques de pluie. Est-ce vraiment ce qui se passe?
Et pourquoi donc? Je regarde pour un 5 étoiles. Je ne veux qu'une semaine de repos... l'hiver dernier je suis allé en République et j'ai aimé....ne rien faire ahah
Au printemps, j'envisage de nouveau la France ou l'Espagne.
Les risques de pluies sont très faibles en janvier à Cuba. Toutefois, il est vrai que pour la chaleur, c'est risqué. Il peut faire très chaud, comme il peut faire froid parfois... Je me souviens que le 3 janvier 2008, il a fait 8 à La Havana... Mais deux jours avant, il faisait 30...
En général, les journées sont confortables, et les soirées un peu plus fraiches. Plus vous allez vers le sud de UCba, mieux c'est. Holguin et Santiago sont généralement des endroits où vous aurez plus de cahnce d'avoir de la chaleur.
Mais pour avoir une garantie de chaleur, vous êtes mieux d'aller dans des pays plus au sud.

Cuba dispose d'un climat subtropical modéré, avec prédominance de températures chaudes.
Il y a en moyenne à Cuba 330 jours de soleil par an.
On distingue deux saisons :
- la saison des pluies (mai-octobre)
- la saison sèche (novembre-avril).
En janvier il fait en moyenne 22°/23°: températures très agréables

pour la chaleur a cuba en jan. faut aller plus au sud comme holguin, manzanillo de cuba la c est tres chaud mais la plage est pas fait de sable blanc , trinidad est plus chaud que varadero aussi , aussi cienfuegos claude
Cuba en janvier a toujours été un risque d'incertitude pour la chaleur.Il est préférable d'aller plus au sud, pour la chaleur garantie en janvier, il y a le Nicaragua qui est très bien ainsi que l'île de Marguarita.
Salut l'an passé nous avons été a varadero du 10 au 17 janvier , nous avons eu une semaine tres venteuse, la moyenne de la temperature a été 22 degrés, nous avons eu une journée ou il a fais 18 degrés mais il ne faut pas oublier que pendant ce temps ici au quebec il y avais une vague de froid donc a comparer nous étions bien🙂Mais si tu veux etre certain d'avoir de la chaleur ce n'est peux etre pas le bon endroit a plus Daniele
Il est vrai que rien n'est guarantie en ce qui a trait a la temperature; mais je crois que tu peux avoir de la tres belle temperature a la mi-janvier dans le sud de l'ile. Je voyage toujour en Janvier de chaque année. J'y vais en Janvier depuis 6 ans a Cuba. J'ai fait Holguin, Manzanillo, et Trinidad. Je n'ais jamais eu de probleme.
Au pire nous avons eu des soirées plus froide et un blouson etait requis mais de jour le plus froid que j'ai vue ces une journée de +/- 22 celsius. Normalement c'est entre 25 et 32 degré.
Si tu veux un bel hotel, avec grand luxe, ta meilleure option est le PARADISUS RIO DE ORO Holguin.
Je n'y suis jamais aller mais de bon amis y vont regulierement et ils adorent. Moi je trouve ca un peu dispendieux pour la difference de services. Mon choix irait avec le Playa Pesquero. Un 4.5 etoiles tres bien coté. J'y suis aller et crois moi c'est un bon 4, 0 étoiles n'importe ou. Il y a souvent une diffence de prix de $500/ personne entre les 2 hotels. La difference ne vaut pas le débourser. La chambre est beaucoup plus belle au Paradisus mais les sites et activitées sont assez equivalentes. Le Pesquero est un tres gros complexe avec +/- 900 chambre.Le Paradisus = 250 Suites de Luxes
Un dernier choix, serait le Playa Coste Verde. On parle d'un vrai 4.0 etoiles qui est tres bien coté egalement.
il est juste a coté du Pesquero. Les habituées du coin vont souvent a cet hotel! Il n'y a pas de grosse difference avec le Pesquero. Meme si c'est un 4 étoiles encore une fois a mes yeux c'est un vrai 4 etoiles. Je n'ai vraiment rien a redire de cet hotel. Le complexe est plus petit...seulement 480 chambres ( Quand meme! ). Je l'ai decouvert l'année derniere pour y avoir rester. Une semaine en derniere minute et le prix etait bon. Qu'elle surprise agréable. J'ai tellement aimer que j'y retourne le 24 janvier de cette année! Pas de derniere minute car je voulais cet hotel. Je pouvais avoir le Pesquero presque au meme prix!!!Si tu fais des recherches tu veras qu'on parle d'une plage plus rocailleuse...Wow il y a du monde difficile. L'hotel est situé devant une frayère a poisson qui est catégorisé comme une reserve ecologique. La plage est tres belle mais on la laisse un peu plus a l'etat naturel. La qualité de l'apné y est vraiment bonne. un vrai aquarium! L'hotel a été completement reconstruit suite au passage de Ike l'année derniere et les facilitées sont en tres bonne conditions. Il reste de choses a faire au Pesquero...comme le complexe est plus grand... Les chambres ne sont pas aussi luxueuse qu'au Pesquero. mais c'est bien..C'est propre et tout. Nous ont ne passent pas beucoup de temps dans nos chambre alors.
Pour finir les 2 autres régions sont du coté de la mer des caraibes (sud de l'ile). La temperature sera plus certaine mais les complexes hotellier sont moins beau que ce que je viens de te décrire plus haut. Surtout si recherche le luxe.

I already did a tour in Peru 10 years ago in the Pacaya Samiria reserve, and it was amazing.
The simple reason was that the tour was on a motor-free canoe—we made no noise, so the immersion was total.
Is it possible to find a tour in Leticia that offers a motor-free boat excursion?

We want to do a few safaris, visit villages, the mountains, see tea plantations, etc. But we also want to see turtles. We love snorkeling but aren’t experts—we’re just happy to see colorful fish and coral. We’ve always wanted to see turtles too, so the idea is still to see *something* underwater 😊

I’ve planned a three-week itinerary for this summer, from August 9 to 27, in Sri Lanka:
Negombo – 1 night
Sigiriya and the Cultural Triangle – 4 nights
Kandy – 2 nights
Ella – 3 nights
Tangalle – 6 nights
Colombo Airport – 1 night
I know this isn’t the ideal time for the south since the beach conditions aren’t great, but we’ve booked a hotel with a pool and won’t be swimming in the sea. We want to relax after all the travel since we’re bringing our two kids, aged 6 and 8.
I know the east would be better, but (i) I’m struggling to find suitable accommodation, and (ii) it adds a lot of travel time, and my kids can only handle about 3 hours at a stretch.
I looked into Arugam Bay, but it’s a 7-hour trip back to Colombo from there.
I’ve checked every weather site imaginable, but they don’t all agree. Do you think we’ll spend our whole trip in the rain, or is the monsoon in the south mostly limited to the sea, as I’ve read?
I’m worried about ending up in the middle of a natural disaster with my two young kids, given recent events.

This year, 2026, I can only get away in April and May. I never travel during these months usually, and from what I know, they aren’t the best for India. But in such a big country, there are always spots that are better than others weather-wise.

We’re more drawn to the Andes, exploring colonial cities, typical villages, markets, and a bit of the coast. We’ve already gotten a taste of this in Bolivia, Colombia, and Chile. Plus, we’d love to do part of it by car since we’re used to driving at our own pace and stopping whenever we feel like it. Anyway, time’s running out, and I need to decide so I can finalize a route and book the tickets!!

I’ll arrive in Singapore at the start of November for about 3 days, and I’ll leave from Bangkok in mid-November.

Just giving you the quick context: A group of friends and I are planning a trip to South Korea (Seoul/Busan) at the end of June/July next year. It falls right in the middle of the monsoon season, but we don’t really have other availability options.😕
I’d love to hear from people who’ve visited the country and these cities during this period—basically, is it not as bad as it sounds, or should we just cancel our tickets (we don’t mind the heat, it’s mostly the rain that scares us).
I know there are plenty of indoor activities, but do you think we’ll still manage to get a few sunny days, or will it be torrential rain for our entire 2-week trip?
The only other country we’ve visited during the rainy season is Brazil (in the northeast) around the same time, and honestly, aside from a few really annoying downpours, we had sunshine most of the time and it was awesome. That said, the climate is totally different, so I’m not sure how relevant the comparison is.

Not sure if guidebooks, agencies, and other tour operators are keeping up by changing their visiting hours and offerings.
Personally, I see a promising opportunity here—jumping on this adaptation to extreme climates before others do, since they’re inevitably coming.
From my own travel experience, I’ve met a few guides so far who are starting to adjust, like in Egypt, Kenya, Senegal, and elsewhere.
They avoid crowds and the hottest hours by starting their tours around 6–7 AM, when it’s cooler.
Yeah, you’ve gotta wake up early, but the payoff is so worth it. 😴
