Je suis maman monoparentale avec 4 enfants : 12 ans, 13 ans, 15 ans et 17 ans ( 18 ans en Aout prochain) Je dois absolument avoir une deuxieme chambre car nous sommes plus que 4 MAIS !! je suis la seule adultes 18 ans et plus... nous devons faire une demande speciale pour savoir si le resort va autoriser ma fille de 17 ans comme une adulte.... l'agente de voyage me dit si ils disent non... je dois oublier mon voyage avec les enfants... =( .... je voudrais savoir si ce problème est déja arrivé a l'un de vous et si vous avez des suggestions. j'ai eu un experience presque semblable seule avec 3 petits enfants alors que je regardais les forfaits vols et hotels en malaisie c'etait soi disant pas possible de dormir tous dans la meme chambre
j'ai achete le vol secs reservé moi meme un bungalow avec 1 tres grand lit et aucun probleme (cela m'est revenu plus de 2 fois moins cher que le package 🙂) sur place on m'a fourni un matelas supplementaire sans surcout et avec le sourire
J'irai dans le même sens que Marie31... pourquoi ne pas louer un condo ou une maison? Il y en a de nombreux à louer sur la Riviera Maya, à d'excellents prix et avec le personnel pour faire le ménage et parfois même la cuisine. À Akumal, il y a même un établissement avec restaurant qui propose des petits condos... c'est le Hacienda de la Tortuga. L'année dernière, nous voyagions avec mes parents (nous étions donc 6) et nous avons adopté la formule de la location. Pour organiser le voyage, j'ai fait affaire avec locogringo (mais il y a plein d'autres sites qui offrent des locations). Ensuite, il suffit d'acheter le vol à part. Par contre, si vous préférez vraiment l'hôtel, il y a des établissements qui offrent des chambres communicantes. Votre agence de voyage aurait dû le savoir et vous le proposer... surtout que quand on voyage seule avec plusieurs enfants, en général un des enfants paye le tarif adulte!
Merci beaucoup ! ... je vais considérer cette idée fortement... je voulais un forfait tout inclus, sur un resort pour m'éviter un casse-tête et le stress car c'est mon premier voyage et je suis la seule ''adulte'' ça me sécurisait. Mes 4 enfants doivent payer le prix adulte car ils ont 12-13-15 et 17 et demi ( je suis correct avec ça ) mais maintenant, ils ne veulent pas considérer ma fille la plus vieille comme une adulte et nous louer une deuxieme chambre. Je suis toujours dans l'attente de l'agente de voyage qui est, elle-meme en attente pour que le resort lui donne une réponse si il y a une chance qu'ils fassent une execption... c'est long !! je pense qu'ils font la SIESTA hahaha.....
Je suis aller a Cuba en janvier et nous étions 2 adultes 2 enfants (8,15 ans) comme ma fille payait un tarif adulte mon agente de voyage a réservé 2 chambres, il na jamais été question de demander une permission pour que mes enfants ai leur chambre a eux. Donc quand nous sommes arriver le préposé à l'acceuil nous a donné 2 chambres communicantes, j'ai passé une belle semaine parce que j'ai eu du plaisir avec ma famille et du temps et de l'intimité seul avec mon mari!!!

Contente de voir que vous avez fait un beau voyage ! ... si tu n'as pas eu de problèmes, c'est que vous étiez 2 adultes (18 ans et plus ) ... ils louent une 2e chambre sans problème. Dans mon cas, j'ai besoin de 2 chambres mais je suis la seule a avoir plus de 18 ans. Peut importe si nous savons tous que les parents ne vont pas dormir chacun dans une chambre séparée, quand tu fais tes réservation, le systeme ne le permet pas. Voila ou est mon problème.
Je suis encore dans l'attente pour une réponse de l'agence de voyage qui attend elle aussi une réponse du Resort !!! ( non mais ils dorment sur la switch ) hahahaha.... si la réponse est négative, je vais regarder et m'informer sur les suggestions que tu viens de me faire.
Cet hôtel est famillial mais les chambres d`après mon séjour il y a quelques temps déjà avaient un lit King ou deux lits dòubles. Famille de 4..Maintenant l`hôtel aurait - il changé à ce point ....Vérifiez comme il le faut !

les chambres sont petites et il ya pas de piscine mais l'hotel est au centre ville de playa et a 2 min de marche de la plage.
et ce qui est intéressant c'est le prix.. 60$ la nuit. peu importe le nombre de personne pour un lit queen..
si tu loue 2 chambres tu peux avoir 2 lits simple par chambre .. ça te reviendrais pas cher.. tout le monde aurais son lit.
et il parrait que même si c'est pas un 5 étoiles il a de très bonne critique.. même vraiment bonne.

et tu peux avoir des vols présentement pour 455$ sur air transat ..des vols directs.. mais pour mars seulement, en avril les prix augmentent..
et tu peux négocier tes transferts avec les chauffeurs de taxi ou de mini-van directement à l'aéroport.. nous ça
nous a couté 60$ pour 3 en arrivant avec une mini-van collective mais en revenant ..avec le taxi de l, hotel 40$
je viens de faire le calcul et 2 chambres à +/- 60$ ch. = 840$ + 4* 455 $ (vol)=2600$ et avec tes transferts tu rajoutes un autre 100$ ça te reviens a +/- 2700$ plus ta bouffe.. je trouve que ça l'a bien de l'allure

I wanted to share a great discovery in the Marakele area because, in the end, this park doesn’t get talked about much compared to Kruger, even though it’s really worth the detour.
We discovered Cypiro Leopard Lodge, right next to Marakele National Park in the Waterberg. It’s a small property with just a few villas and suites, so it’s nothing like the big, crowded lodges. What we loved most was the feeling of being truly at the end of the world—lots of space, silence, and almost no one around.
And yet, it’s only about 3 hours from Johannesburg. Once you leave Joburg, the road is pretty straightforward, and you quickly find yourself in a much wilder Africa.
Marakele National Park was a huge surprise for us. There are plenty of animals, the Big Five are present, but best of all, very few people. At times, we drove for quite a while without seeing another car. It’s such a change from parks where you sometimes end up with 15 cars around one animal.
The landscapes are also stunning, with the Waterberg mountains, plains, and beautiful views from some of the trails.
We also learned on-site that Marakele is known for its very large Cape vulture colony—around 800 breeding pairs. When you climb into the mountains and see them soaring above, it’s pretty impressive.
The entire Waterberg region is actually a UNESCO-recognized biosphere reserve, and you quickly understand why once you’re there.
As for Cypiro, it’s a lodge that was recently taken over by French owners—really nice and approachable. The place is quite exclusive since there are very few accommodations. The villas and suites each have their own private pool, a wood-fired hot bath (like a KolKol), a braai, and an outdoor fireplace.
Evenings are especially lovely, especially with the peace and quiet all around.
Another thing we found really convenient: you can organize your stay however you like.
You can come self-catering and cook for yourself. There’s a supermarket in the nearby small town, practically on the way in, so you can do your shopping before arriving without making a big detour.
Or you can ask them to organize everything with breakfasts, lunches, and dinners. Their chef, Ernest, cooks really well, and it lets you completely unwind for a few days.
We liked being able to alternate: some quiet meals on our own and others prepared for us.
That’s actually one of the things we appreciated here—it’s not an ultra-formal lodge where everything is scheduled at fixed times. You can head out early to Marakele, come back for lunch, enjoy the pool, go back out in the late afternoon, then have a braai or a relaxed dinner in the evening.
In terms of price, we also found the value for money really good for this level of accommodation and especially for the very private feel of the place. Sometimes it feels like you’re in a much more expensive lodge.
If you’re looking for lots of activity and dozens of people around you, this probably isn’t the right spot.
But for peace, wildlife, nature, wide-open spaces, and that feeling of being a little alone in the world, we absolutely loved it.

And if anyone knows Marakele or the Waterberg well, I’d love to hear about other spots to discover in the area.
While digging through the archives 🔍, we discovered a 19th-century journal 📜 bearing the name: "Le Petit Baigneur, weekly journal of beaches, spa towns, and thermal resorts in the South of France", published as early as 1886. Its motto? "All for the baths and by the baths" 🏖️ — what a program!
We found the name so amusing that we chose it to rename our hotel: Hôtel Le Petit Baigneur!
140 years later, we’re carrying on this seaside tradition of the South of France in our own way 🏊♂️ — with a few fewer crinolines, but just as much love for the seaside. 😊

I found a hotel, the Kappa Club Crystal Bay Resort, and online reviews for this hotel recommend a guide named Omar. I contacted him via WhatsApp, and he's offering a 2-day, 1-night safari in Tsavo East, a "blue safari," and a Marafa Canyon day trip for 400 € per person.
I’m asking for help from people who’ve already done these excursions because I have no idea what these offers entail.

Is the latter one reliable?

Bonjour nous arriverons dimanche 5 mai ( à partir de 16h25) à l'aéroport de Punta Cana pour profiter d'un séjour que mon amie à gagner à l’hôtel Gran Bahia Principe La Romana.
L'avion est offert par la compagnie aérienne, l'hôtel je pense par la chaine hôtelière, mais aujourd'hui je m’inquiète du transfert car aucune info et j'apprends que rien n'est prévu.
D’après ce que j'ai vu le dernier car expreso part de Punta Cana à 16h00
Y-a t'il d'autres moyens de transports collectif (guagua) qui puisse faire le trajet ou au moins nous avancer jusqu'à La Romana ou San Pedro de Marcoris et je pense qu'on finira le trajet en taxi.
Si c'est trop compliqué ça sera navette privée mais on est plus "lonely planet " que navette privée et hôtel tout inclus.
