J'ai 18 ans et souhaiterais l'année prochaine pdt deux ou trois mois (avril/mai/juin) partir en Inde faire une mission humanitaire, je suis déja parti en Afrique pdt 4 ans quand j'étais jeune et je souhaite découvrir d'autre culture, j'aimerais m'occuper d'enfant, d'orphelins ou d'handicapé; mon niveau d'anglais sera convenable ( entre janvier à avril je serais jeune fille au pair en irlande).
avez vous des adresses d'orphelinats à me donner?
ou d'association sérieuse vers lesquelles je pourrais me tourner?

Moi je pars surement de mai a juillet dans l'Uttaranchal. J'ai trouvé une NGO grace a waterportal (http://www.indiawaterportal.org/), tu peux grace a ce site trouver une partie des NGOs presentes en Inde.

j'ai longuement surfé sur le lien donné par Nalesnik, la fondation Ellen Gerber, fais parail et suis le lien du journal http://meg.midiblogs.com/ puis va sur les blog des bénévoles, surtout celui de Rémi, il m'a totalement fasciné.
Je pense que si tu vas dans ce village, tu trouveras surement ce que tu recherches, mais c'est à toi de décider, prends ton temps mais n'hésite pas, c'est une aventure plus que géniale.

Salut, j'ai copié-collé cet extrait du blog de Rémi, jeune stagiaire chez Mary Ellen Gerber Foundation Trust. Je trouve ça beau et voulais partager et encourager tous les jeunes et moins jeunes qui désirent partir faire une telle expérience, même si après quelques semaines ils en ont ras-le-bol, ça se comprend. Merci à toi pour ce lien! J'ai découvert une belle association.
"Quand on etait a Delhi avec les parents et qu'aux feux rouges les enfants des rues venaient nous quemander quelques roupies, je pensait aux enfants du villages a Puri si beaux, si propres et en si bonne sante. Ils ont tellement l'air heureux que j'en venait a oublier leur histoire: la drogue, les gares, le SIDA, la mendicite... C'est ca qui est vraiment fort dans ce qu'a fait Mary Ellen avec cette association.
Ici j'ai rencontre des gens formidables, a cote desquels on se sent tout petit. Moi avec mon petit stage de rien du tout j'ai pas l'impression d'avoir change la face du monde; mais toutes ces rencontres me laissent penser qu'il est vraiment possible de faire quelque chose."

J'y suis allée avec une amie pendant 6 mois en tant que bénévole, c'est une grande expérience humaine qui te marque à jamais.

I’m a volunteer leader at a youth center (MJC), and we’ve been deeply moved by everything happening in Madagascar—extreme poverty, endangered animals, deforestation, and so on. Plus, one of our teens has a Malagasy friend, so our group wants to travel there next year.
Throughout this year, they’ve planned fundraisers to collect donations (sheets, dish towels, schoolbooks, hygiene products, etc.) and funds to cover their trip and stay.
They’re really motivated and generous—they already volunteer in schools and senior centers, and they’re always welcomed warmly.
But so far, they haven’t found any organizations in Madagascar willing to host them for two weeks (orphanages, schools, animal protection parks, etc.).
Does anyone know of any contacts, please?

After 8 months of volunteering in Tanzania at a center for street children, I’d like to go back for a year in the same kind of role—this time in Burkina. We currently have 2 wheelchairs that we would like to give to our partner, the Benin Handisport Federation. If you're traveling to Benin, alone or with someone, we could give you one of these 2 wheelchairs (or both). Out of the 40 kg of luggage you're allowed, a wheelchair will only take up less than half. Our partner can pick it up at Cotonou Airport...

Hello, we’d like to travel as a family to Madagascar (2 parents, 2 kids aged 10 and 12). A first trip over 15 years ago completely amazed and moved me with its beauty, kindness, and life experiences—but also its poverty and hardship. That’s why I think it’s possible to introduce our kids to this island while also doing something useful through volunteering. The window is short—15 days in March 2020—which means avoiding the north and east of the island due to cyclones and focusing on the south instead. Some ecovolunteering projects exist online, but the cost is sometimes prohibitive, and kids are rarely accepted. Do you have any ideas or contacts? Thanks in advance!
