Je poste un nouveau sujet car je cherche à obtenir le visa WHV pour mon départ en juin 2009.
Je suis allée sur le site du gouvernement australien mais je n'arrive pas à faire la demande pour le visa. ils disent que le site est en maintenance ou je ne sais pas trop quoi... et j'avais déjà regardé il y a 2 semaines et ça n'a pas changé !!
Je voulais savoir si certains d'entre vous ont eu le même problème que moi et savoir si c'est moi qui m'y prend mal !
Effectivement il y'à un msg pour indiquer que le site est en maintenance le Mercredi de 6AM a 8AM.
Cependant en dehors de cette tranche horaire pas de soucis, mais c'est vrai qu'il faut fouiner un peu pour trouver le lien, j'ai fais ma demande aujourdhui (27/01) en début d'après-midi et j'ai reçu ma réponse ce soir, mon Visa électronique a été validé en quelques heures seulement.

J'ai failli y arriver mais au moment de payer par carte, il me dit que ma banque refuse la transaction, alors qu'il y a bien les sous sur le compte et que ma carte est une visa internationale !! tu as rencontré ce problème toi ?
il ne me reste plus qu'à contacter ma banque je pense...
Moi de mon côté j'ai eu aucune galère à payer avec une Visa.
Voit avec ta banque ou sinon fais toi prêter une carte, et transfert l'argent en compte a compte, pas le plus simple mais très rapide.

moi je pars avec ma copine le 29 Mars.
Dans les bons plans qu'on a trouvé,
On a pris un vol British à 1032€ (Paris-Londres-Singapour-Perth) il est en partage avec Quantas et si je crois les infos de reservations du vol on aura l'A380 entre londres et singapour.
On a le droit a 23kg, mais ils t'offrent un sac de sport gratuit de 23kg supp (je suis plongeur, je vais repartir mon matos sur les 2 sacs) mais je pense pas que l'hotesse nous fera complétement dépouiller nos sacs, et au pire une paire de palme, un masque un tuba et un shorty decathlon pas cher sur le dessus devraient la contenter (enfin j'espère!!!) (Attention retour modifiable mais 100€)
On profite de notre escale à Singapour pour aller à Kuala Lumpur en bus, visiter KL et prendre une Low-Cost pour aller 2 semaines à Bali. (A/R: KL-Bali Bali-Singapour: 100€/pers).
En gros une escale longue (jusque 20jrs) et une récup des bagages c'est gratuit et en asie y'a pas mal de low cost donc Pourquoi ne pas profiter de l'escale pour visiter (Indonésie, Thailande, Cambodge, Vietnam etc ...) les lows cost: airasia, tiger airways, jet star, lionair ... j'en oublie à voir sur http://www.attitudetravel.com/lowcostairlines/asia/
Pour l'instant on sait juste qu'on atteri à Perth (Western Australia), on a pas de tafs de prévu, et pas encore de Bacpackers de réservé mais on va attaquer les recherches.
Pour ce qui est du budget, l'état australien te demande de pouvoir justifier de 3000€ ou tout du moins que "si t'es dans la mouise y'aura quelqun pour t'aider financièrement" (il semblerait qu'une lettre des parents suffise) je trouve que c'est une bonne base de budget, après tout dépend ....moi c'est un projet que j'ai depuis longtemps donc j'ai pu mettre plus de côté en bossant en plus le weekend etc ... J'aurais tendance à dire 3000€ mini l'histoire de pas être trop à la "roots" et pas trop te priver dans les sorties/visites etc!!, maintenant peu-être que tu n'auras même pas a y toucher.
Dans les préparatifs d'avant voyage:
y'a l'assurance (un max d'infos sur le forum australia-australie.com) en gros ya ASFE et ISI TRAVEL,
Nous on s'est fait faire des cartes d'étudiants internationales, apparemment çà apporte des avantages sur place .....on verra
Si tu veux conduire, il te faut le permis international (une demande à la pref et c'est gratuit)
Si tu veux acheter une voiture ou un van et donc l'assuré (tu peux faire faire un bilan de sinistres à ton assurance, en Francais donc j'ai aucune idée de la valeur qu'il aura sur place)
Il semblerait que les employeurs australiens attachent de l'importance aux lettres de recommendations, si tu peux t'en faire rédiger une en anglais (vraie ou pas ....)
Je vois pas grand chose d'autre, si t'as d'autres idées hésite pas.

Sinon pour le vol vous avez trouver votre billet comment? t'as pris un billet aller-retour avec possibilité de modifié ton retour si j'ai bien compris? comment ca se passe pour la résa d'un billet comme ca? j'essaie de me renseigner sur des billets avec une date de retour "open" mais j'ai pas trouvé grand chose pour l'instant.t'as des infos la dessu?
pendant votre escale, vous avez trouvé des auberges de jeunnesses ou équivalent? ou c'est une sorte de pack vol + logement? c'est vrai que tant qu'a faire une telle route pourquoi pas s'arréter un peu en asie pour visiter un peu! a voir!!
Pour ce qui est des cartes étudiants c'et mort pour moi (je suis plus étudiant depuis 4 ans)
J'ai regardé un peu les assurances et l' ASFE à l'air pas mal et pas trop cher.

After living for many years in the West (Belgium, Italy, Switzerland),
I’ve decided to return and settle in Cameroon, my home country.
