Suite à un premier voyage au Népal en novembre dernier, je souhaite repartir dans ce merveilleux pays en septembre-octobre 2008 pour deux ou trois mois voir plus.
Je suis donc à la recherche d'une ONG à qui je pourrais être utile.
J’ai un BTS géomètre-topographe et je travaille dans l’urbanisme et l’aménagement du territoire. Je travaille notamment sur des projets de construction de logements sociaux.
J'adore les enfants et je pense avoir la patience pour m'occuper d'eux, même si je n'ai pas de formation particulière.
Je suis également très enthousiaste à l’idée de pouvoir échanger avec les népalais, leur expliquer notre culture voire leur apprendre la langue française. Là non plus, je n'ai pas de formation particulière dans ce domaine mais une réelle volonté.
Je lis, parle et écrit l'anglais. Je commence à apprendre le népali grâce à une méthode écrite.

C'est super d'entendre cela!! je verrai avec mes amis s'ils on des tuyeux pour apprendre le népalais. Moi aussi je vais partir au népal au mois de septembre, parcontre ça ne sera que pour 1 mois. Si tu veux, on peux alller ensemble mais moi je vais à Pokhara puis dans le village de mes parents ( tu seras bienvenue aussi si tu as envie d'aller ce coté) parcontre il faut avoir des bonnes jambes pour marcher des heures, tu ne seras pas seule en tt cas........... Je suis actuellement en Voyage en Inde mais je dois me rendre dans les prochaines semaines a Swoyambhu, un quartier bien sympa et authentique de Kathmandu. J'y debuterai un travail de benevolat aupres d'une association nommee Umbrella. Ils recherchent vivement des benevoles motives. J'ai rencontre le president de cette asso lors de mon premier voyage au Nepal, il y a quelques mois, c'est un homme super. C'est une asso tres ouverte et serieuse.

je viens de tomber sur ton message et à vrai dire j'ai exactement la même volonté que toi.
Je suis rentrée du Népal il y a koi, 3 jours mais je compte y retourner d'ici octobre/novembre.
Je suis en train de parcourir des sites internet afin de trouver des ONG me permettant de réaliser mon projet de volontariat, mais le peu de choses que j'ai vu ne m'apportent pas vraiment de réponses, afin ne m'apportent pas ce que je recherche réellement. car je compte rester 6 mois au Népal et travailler avec les enfants, leur enseigner l'anglais. je me suis fait des amis Népalais qui peuvent m'aider, donc en premier lieu je cmpte partir par mes propres moyens..mais comme toi je suis a la recherche de tuyaux par rapport aux organismes pouvant nous aider à partir..
j'aimerai, si tu es d'accord, kon rentre en contact et kon partage cette experience similaire que nous avons vécues.

As-tu débuté ton séjour parmi eux ? QU'y as-tu fait ? je serais ravie d'avoir ton retour, car je leur ai fait parvenir tout à l'heure ma "candidature" et j'espèrais avoir quelques témoignages.
Combien de temps y es-tu restée ? As-tu passer tout ton temps avec eux sur place, ou avais-tu un peu de temps libre pour découvrir les alentours, partir en trek ?

I’m a volunteer leader at a youth center (MJC), and we’ve been deeply moved by everything happening in Madagascar—extreme poverty, endangered animals, deforestation, and so on. Plus, one of our teens has a Malagasy friend, so our group wants to travel there next year.
Throughout this year, they’ve planned fundraisers to collect donations (sheets, dish towels, schoolbooks, hygiene products, etc.) and funds to cover their trip and stay.
They’re really motivated and generous—they already volunteer in schools and senior centers, and they’re always welcomed warmly.
But so far, they haven’t found any organizations in Madagascar willing to host them for two weeks (orphanages, schools, animal protection parks, etc.).
Does anyone know of any contacts, please?

Hello, we’d like to travel as a family to Madagascar (2 parents, 2 kids aged 10 and 12). A first trip over 15 years ago completely amazed and moved me with its beauty, kindness, and life experiences—but also its poverty and hardship. That’s why I think it’s possible to introduce our kids to this island while also doing something useful through volunteering. The window is short—15 days in March 2020—which means avoiding the north and east of the island due to cyclones and focusing on the south instead. Some ecovolunteering projects exist online, but the cost is sometimes prohibitive, and kids are rarely accepted. Do you have any ideas or contacts? Thanks in advance!
