Je m'appelle Jérémy, j'ai 24 ans et j'habite du côté de la Vendée en métropole.
Je suis actuellement agent immobilier depuis un peu plus d'un an et j'ai envi de changement pour différentes raisons...
J'ai toujours eu pour rêve de partir vivre à l'étranger sans me donner de durées précises ( y rester tant que je m'y plais ), et quand à la destination tout le monde me dit du bien de la Réunion.. Alors je me dis pourquoi pas maintenant car plus on recul l'échéance et plus il doit être difficile de le faire!
Peu importe l'activité professionnelle que l'on me propose, je cherche avant tout une expérience de vie afin de mieux me connaitre et en savoir plus sur les autres.
Quelles sont les premières démarches à établir?
L'intégration est-elle facile pour une personne qui part seule?
Le côut de la vie est-il élevé?
La vie là-bas ressemble t-elle à celle de la Martinique ou Guadeloupe? ( je suis déjà parti en Martinique) ou rien à voir?
Tout d'abord, pour éviter toute confusion, je veux juste te rappeler que La Réunion a le statut de département français d'outre-mer (DOM) et de région européenne ultraphérique (RUP). Tu ne vas donc pas vivre à l'étranger. A quelques spécificités près (que je vais essayer de détailler après), les lois sont les mêmes.
Tu n'as pas besoin de passeport pour venir, la carte d'identité suffit mais je te conseille d'avoir les 2. En effet, c'est une île...et toutes les terres qui existent autour sont étrangères (Maurice, Madagascar, Seychelles, Afrique du sud...) et là tu auras besoin d'unpasseport pour aller y faire un petit tour!
Selon moi, la première chose à faire, c'est de préciser le plus possible ce que tu attends de ce séjour, ce à quoi tu es prêt à renoncer, et ce que tu es prêt à donner.
Si tu n'es jamais venu et que tu ne connais personne sur place, il faut mieux bien fixer tes priorités: chercher un boulot ou farniente. Si tu choisis le farniente, il faudra alors arriver avec des économies car ici les prix sont en moyenne 30% plus chers. Tu peux consulter les offres d'emploi sur le site du pole emploi ou le site de clicanoo. ^Si tu es dans l'immobilier, pourquoi ne pas postuler après des nombreuses agences immobilières? Il ya quelques enseignes nationales qui sont présentes d'ailleurs (century 21, guy hoquet...). Des rencontres tu en feras tout le temps, ici on est jamais seul (même mal accompagné!).
Je ne peux pas faire de comparaison avec les autres DOM car je n'y ai jamais mis les pieds. Mais l'océan indien ce n'est pas les antilles! La Réunion est un brassage de cultures chinoise, indienne, africaine, européenne...beaucoup de chose sà dire, beaucoup de choses à lire (le gui de Daniel Vaxelaire est bien fait)

Te fais pas de noeuds au cerveau : La Réunion, c'est la France, en 35% plus cher. Et c'est tout ! Tu quitterais la Vendée pour le Jura ou les Landes, ça serait pareil.
Sinon, rien à voir avec les Antilles question mentalité : la Réunion porte bien son nom, et l'Histoire de l'île y est pour bcp.
A toi de chercher des emplois sur le net... et fonce !

- Y a t il du boulot dans le secteur du tourisme - restauration ainsi que ds le transport ( j ai mon permis en transport en commun)
- Est ce que les portables de métropoles fonctionnent sur l Ile
- Est ce qu il faut ouvrir un compte bancaire sur place ( ya t il des frais si on retire de l argent sur l ile via notre banque en france
- Est ce que le salaire est suffisant pour vivre sachant que la vie est chère
- Est ce que l intégration se fait facilement
- ya t il des vaccins a faire avant de partit (chikungunya par exemple)
- Et enfin pour le logement est ce que la collocation fonctionne bien
limmobilier ici s'est cassé la gueule 2fois plus qu'en métropole; dabord pcq c'est trés cher (tu ten apercevras pour te loger et va faire un tour sur clicanoo, rubrique immo il y a aussi sur ce site des liens vers des agences locales... dans ma rue il y a 3 maison a vendre depuis 1 an et malgré une baisse des prix pour l une de 30% pas d'acheteurs...
de + il y a cafouillage sur le remaniement de la défisc alors les acheteurs se font rares et les banques trainent des pieds..., elles

Our departure time is getting closer (we have less than 2 years left—it’s both a long time and so short!). To start preparing seriously, we’ll need quite a bit of info. If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).
