It doesn’t seem like South America has been represented much, so here are a few photos of Argentina!

But just a tiny part of Argentina, since I mostly stayed in the Misiones region in the northeast for an internship.

1. Cushion vendor in Buenos Aires

2. Misiones, THE region of rivers, flowing through a subtropical jungle barely surviving deforestation...

3. The breathtaking Iguazu Falls...

4. The sacred red earth of Misiones...

5. The region’s typical houses

AT Atila Globetrotter ·
Let’s stay in South America for a Brazilian step of 5!

Flowers whose petals bow toward the earth...

Others that prefer to keep their feet on the ground and open up to the sun...

The blue of the walls...

The blue of the waters...

A cool country...

... right? 😉

Five photos of Iran ! This selection was made intentionally with photos of interiors or taken at night. Four cities. Your turn to guess which ones.

Still Iran.

Landscapes. Nilsou.

Nilsou, I'm gonna pull your mustache! One country, 5 clichés... (for the same photographer)😛 You're already at 10.😮

I know how hard it is to choose, but... [;]
AT Atila Globetrotter ·
Where and during which season can you find it under snow?
KA Kate Globetrotter ·
Five photos of Iran! This selection intentionally features indoor shots or night photos. Four cities. Your turn to guess which ones.

Nilsou.

The first one is Shiraz, the second and last are Isfahan, the third is Tehran. I'm missing the fourth—did I get the rest right? These mosque interiors are insane! (Wanna restart the photo game? 😉)

I know how hard it is to make a choice, but…

Uh… Given the number of participants, a little flexibility would be nice
AT Atila Globetrotter ·
Wrist flexibility? 😇

You want this thread to turn into 1,001 photos of my favorite country? 😏
NI Nilsou Veteran ·
The one you're missing is Qom, about fifty kilometers south of Tehran.

Photo taken in the vicinity of Persepolis.

In early January 2014, we had to travel from Isfahan to Tehran by taxi because the Isfahan airport had been closed for several days due to heavy snowfall in the region. They hadn’t seen that in eight years. This gave us the chance to revisit Persepolis under the snow, all by ourselves! !

It all depends on who’s posting them 😇
AT Atila Globetrotter ·
11... 😇 A little trip to Iran in the snow would almost tempt me. 🙂 Such a contrast to the usual image we have of this country. And it solves the clothing concerns.
AT Atila Globetrotter ·
Not convinced. A glass of champagne is delicious. At 1001, we're way past the hangover stage.🤪🤪🤪

" ...These mosque interiors are demonic! ..." ?????????????? ( http://www.larousse.fr/dictionnaires/francais/d%C3%A9moniaque/23455)
KA Kate Globetrotter ·
Language abuse! I could’ve said “mind-blowing”… Though 😕 Anyway, “unbelievable,” “stunning,” “over-the-top,” “breathtaking”…
AT Atila Globetrotter ·
The idea is one country, 5 photos—not one country, 5 adjectives! 😏

Though you *can* use 5 adjectives to describe the 5 photos... 😮

(You only shared Morocco so far... Do you maybe have 5 photos that represent Thailand for you? For example... 😇)
