Je cherche des renseignements pour immigre au Cambodge.
Je suis francaise, d'un pere francais et d'une mere mauricienne. Je vis actuellement a l'ile maurice.
Je vais au cambodge debut janvier 2013, avec mon copain cambodgien, rencontrer ici meme (il n'a donc pas une grande experience de son pays. Il a grandi en france, avant d'arriver a maurice).
Nous allons vivre quelques temps chez ses parents, a Phnom Penh. (qui vivent partout dans le monde, sauf au cambodge)
Le probleme est, que tout est nouveau pour moi, j'ai tres peur et j'aimerais me renseigner et surtout me rassurer avant de me lancer.
Je voudrais savoir si aujourd'hui, on peut se debrouiller facilement au cambodge en parlant francais ?
Je compte faire des etudes la bas, est-ce dur de s'adapter ?
Quel est le niveau de soins medicaux ?

Excuse-moi mais l'anglais n'est pas la langue officielle du Cambodge. Vu que cela a été très longtemps une colonie française, il y a quand même une forte francophonie parmi les élites et selon ton profil scolaire/professionnel, tu pourrais peut-être t'y "infiltrer".
ben je pense que si tu ne parles pas anglais ça risque d'être assez difficile.
la langue officielle du Cambodge est le Khmer mais l'anglais est parlé partout. J'y suis resté un mois, et je n'ai pas vu un seul panneau en francais que ce soit à l'aéroport ou n'importe où.
Après les universités au cambodge ne sont pas non plus réputées pour être bonnes, d'ailleurs les étudiants qui en ont les moyens vont étudier dans les pays anglophones.

D'une part , tres bonne idée de partir vivre au cambodge , de meme j' y vais vivre en decembre 2013 .
Pour la barriere de la langue , moi etant allé il y a 4 moi , et connaissant 2 expat francais sur place , et qui maintenant connaissent pas mal de monde ( c'est des musiciens dont leurs groupes est Dub Addiction , Vous allez bientot faire connaissance de ce groupe ) j'ai vu quelques endroits , bar, restaurant et hotel , qui parlent francais . Tu trouveras toujours quelqu'un pour t'aider . Ensuite si tu connais le strict minimum en anglais pour bouger , manger , demandez un renseignement , tu n'auras pas de mal et tous s'apprend dans la durée . Puis venons a la langue Kmer . Une langue tres dificile dans la prononciation mais dans l'enseignement , avec un peu d'acharnement , en 1 moi tu connaitras bien les bases . Le plus dur apres c'est le vocabulaire . Moi personnelement en etant tres faible en anglais , au bout de 1 semaine je me deplacais , acheté , posé des questions en Kmer . Ensuite tu fais melange kmer / anglais tu te debrouilleras sans problemes et a 2 c'est plus simples . Ensuite pour les soins medicaux , ne pas ce faire soigner par un medecin kmer . Pourquoi ? Tous simplement , ils achetent les diplomes ! Pas tous le monde mais une grosse grosse majorité . ils te bourrent d'antibiotique et a la fin tu te retrouve avec une autre maladie encore plus grave et meme , voir ta vie en danger . Un amis qui habite la bas en a connu l'experience . Alors allez voir un medecin expat ou bien comme tu seras a phnom penh , l'hopital russes . Tout ceci m'a été expliqué par des amis qui y vivent depuis plus de 5/6 ans a phnom penh . Alors si je peux me permettre , n'ai pas peur , FONCE avec ton ami ! La debrouille sera ton meilleur amis mais avec aucune diffilculté . Prevoir quand meme un compte avec une petite tresorerie au cas ou ( 1500/3000 € , suffissant pour tenir 5 mois) parceque trouver du travaille ce n'est pas facile du tous pour un expat (a moins que vs ayez un gros diplomes communication , tourisme , vendeur apple etc ... ) on a le choix dans la musique , les cours de francais , travailler dans un hotel etranger .. ! Au niveau des etudes par contre je ne pourrais te dire meme si j'ai rencontré une etudiante qui parlait francais . Je ne pourrai te dire le niveaux d'etudes . voila j'espere que cela te sera utile et je vous shouaitent un agreable voyage et je n'en doute pas !

Our departure time is getting closer (we have less than 2 years left—it’s both a long time and so short!). To start preparing seriously, we’ll need quite a bit of info. If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).

Actually, I’m currently doing a postgraduate diploma in pediatric respiratory physiotherapy and want to specialize in that area.
