Je pars dans deux semaines en République Dominicaine à L'Océan Bavaro Spa Beach Resort, j'aurais voulu avoir des renseignements sur cet hôtel ainsi que sur l'ambiance globale.
Les chambres sont-elles bien ?
Dois-je emmener beacoup d'affaires (gel douche...) où bien il m'est possible de me fournir sur place?
Quelles sont les genres de boutiques qui se trouvent dans l'hôtel, maillots de bain ? Les prix sont-ils corrects où il est préférable de tout ramener de chez nous ?

Sur l'hotel, tu ne seras pas decue mais tu trouveras sans doute plein de commentaires dans le forum. Regardes surtout les plus recents car les choses bougent beaucoup en republique dominicaine.
Le magasin : c'est cher, tout petit et il faut vraiment le voir comme etant du depannage et quelques souvenirs. Pour le gel douche, je crois qu'il y en a dans les chambres mais c'est a confirmer.

Je suis allée à cet hotel et tout était vraiment parfait... Je retourne en RP et j'aurais voulu retourner là mais l'hotel a été vendu en septembre et j, avais peur d'être décue... Les massages ne coutaient pas cher en comparaison des autres hotels, la bouffe est très bonne et pour le café à partir de 4h00PM... il y a un café sur place avec un choix exquis... les restos sont tous bons. Il y a beaucoup d'européen sur place et sur la plage, il y a de la place mais tu dois réserver tes palapas et personne ne dérange tes choses...
Pour y avoir séjourné en novembre 2006, je peux te dire que c'est un hotel extra. A titre comparatif en 2005 je suis allé à l'hotel sirenis 5* et bien l'ocean bavaro qui est un 4* est bien mieux.
C'est un hotel qui comporte plusieurs resto à thème (résa à faire à l'avance), un grand buffet avec nourriture trés variées, un snack proche piscine ouvert tout le temps bref tout est très bon.
Il y a un bar (proche hall réception) où il est servi exclusivement differentes variétés de café, des patisseries etc.. pour les amateurs.
Seul petit bémol pour moi qui passait pas mal de temps aux bars, il n'y avait pas de carte de cocktails, donc la solution soit faire marcher ton imagination ou faire confiance aux barmans.(ce n'est qu'un détail).
Sinon beaucoup de végétation dans l'hotel, les chambres correctes, clim, bar, 2 gds lits, tv, pas de luxe mais suffisant pour le temps qu'on y passe.
Le centre spa est payant mais c'est pas excessif, ya des paillotes aux 4 coins de l'hotel pour les massages, il y a un magasin en plein coeur de l'hotel où il vende de tout, cigarettes, timbres, vetements, souvenirs etc...mais me suis pas atardé sur les prix.
La plage est belle cocotiers et plamiers présents, ya des transats, differentes activités sont proposés, ya un resto sur la plage (payant) ouvert le soir où on te propose des langoutes avec l'accompagnement qu'il faut j'ai trouvé que ça vallait le coup sinon qd tu te dirige sur la plage prend à gauche et à environ 400m ya des petits restos et des magasins c'est assez sympa, ya des petites boutiques partout et les dominicains feront tout pour au moins tu y entre.
D'ailleurs si il y a un dominicain que tu pourras pas louper et qui appel tous les clients de l'hotel c'est "picasso" à peine tu auras mis un pied sur la plage qu'il tappelera car ya des boutiques sur la plage.
Moi j'étais dans la bloc 7 soit disant l'un des mieux, vu sur la piscine, c'était bien.
Je garde un bon souvenir de cet hotel, j'y retournerai bien volontier mais j'ai envie de decouvrir le méxique.
Conseil : ça ne sert à rien de prendre les excursions si tu en fait avec ton tour operator car les prix sont tres chers, tu trouveras dans l'hotel ou en dehors de meilleures opprtunités, sinon les prix des dominicains divisent les par 3 et négocie ça se passe comme ça...

At all-inclusive resorts, base salaries are extremely low for 10- to 12-hour workdays. Tips aren’t just a little extra—they often make up half of these families’ income.
Personally, I always prepare an envelope with euro bills in different denominations before I leave (they exchange them easily on-site). Here’s my method:
🛏️ For housekeeping: I leave a bill on the pillow every morning since schedules rotate daily.
🍽️ For servers: I always sit at the same table. At the end of the trip, I give an envelope to each server who took care of us daily.
🎉 For entertainment: I set aside an envelope for the animator who put in the most effort and really touched me.
The package covers the hotel, but our tips help support the people who make our vacations magical. Don’t forget to budget for this in cash when you pack!

For my husband's 50th birthday, we're going to Mombasa for 10 days and 8 nights in March 2026.
I found a hotel, the Kappa Club Crystal Bay Resort, and online reviews for this hotel recommend a guide named Omar. I contacted him via WhatsApp, and he's offering a 2-day, 1-night safari in Tsavo East, a "blue safari," and a Marafa Canyon day trip for 400 € per person.
I’m asking for help from people who’ve already done these excursions because I have no idea what these offers entail.

I was thinking of going to Martinique, but apparently, the hotels aren’t all-inclusive, which might be a hassle. If you have any advice, that’d be great. Can anyone recommend 5 or 6 hotel names that meet the following criteria? (I’m not too picky, lol)

3. Beautiful beach and pool
4. Hotel for relaxing (no "factory hotels")
5. One-week stay in February 2026
6. A nice hotel (3 or 4 stars) but no need for an ultra-palace
Oh, and I almost forgot the main thing 😉: budget between 3500 € and 4000 € for two, including flights from Montreal-Mexico-Montreal.

Hi there, I’m a 43-year-old woman planning to travel solo in early March. I’m not really into "commercial resorts," but if I find a place that fits my criteria, I might be interested. To add to the info in the title, I’m open to various activities, but ideally, it’d include snorkeling, hiking, dance (every evening if possible!), group tours, etc. I’d love to meet people (not necessarily a man—just people in general!). We’ll be in Venice from March 20th to 24th, and I’m looking (for two couples) for a hotel close to St. Mark’s Square—my husband can’t walk long distances. For four nights with breakfast, our budget is around 1,400 € per couple. To avoid too much walking for him, I’d also prefer a hotel where we could potentially eat dinner in the evenings.

You can’t pay online there—you just submit a reservation request (enquiry).
The second is the NWR (Namibia Wildlife Resorts) site: https://www.nwr.com.na, where you *can* pay online.
Is the latter one reliable?

Bonjour nous arriverons dimanche 5 mai ( à partir de 16h25) à l'aéroport de Punta Cana pour profiter d'un séjour que mon amie à gagner à l’hôtel Gran Bahia Principe La Romana.
L'avion est offert par la compagnie aérienne, l'hôtel je pense par la chaine hôtelière, mais aujourd'hui je m’inquiète du transfert car aucune info et j'apprends que rien n'est prévu.
D’après ce que j'ai vu le dernier car expreso part de Punta Cana à 16h00
Y-a t'il d'autres moyens de transports collectif (guagua) qui puisse faire le trajet ou au moins nous avancer jusqu'à La Romana ou San Pedro de Marcoris et je pense qu'on finira le trajet en taxi.
Si c'est trop compliqué ça sera navette privée mais on est plus "lonely planet " que navette privée et hôtel tout inclus.

A ce jour elles n apparaissent plus sur mon compte Booking , j en ai informé par mail le service clients mais ce dernier ne repond pas ...donc impossible d annuler ces reservations....Quelqu un a t il connu ce probleme et l a t il resolu ???
