J'aimerais savoir s'il y en a parmis vous qui avez déjà fait l'expérience de faire un voyage en achetant une wild card (gotraveldirect.com) 4* à La Romana RD et ayez voyagé sur les ailes de Sky Airlines? Vos imprésions et commentaires seront très appréciés, merci à l'avance. Je part de Montréal avec une amie du 26 janvier 2009 au 2 fév prochain et c'est pour moi la première fois en RD, mais déjà 3 fois à Cuba l'an passé.
Est-ce que les hôtels que l'on voit sur le site internet sont ceux qu'on va avec la wild card 4* La Romana? Le représentant gotravel m'a dit au téléphone qu'il y avait d'autres hôtels aussi qui ne figurent pas sur leur site internet qui peuvent nous envoyer là aussi, comment me faire une idée de notre futur hôtel?
Quelle la meilleur devise à apporter pour une semaine à La Romana, US, Canadien ou pesos? On ne compte pas faire d'excursion, seulement profiter du soleil et du site de l'hôtel, et peut-être acheter quelques souvenir, combien d'argent, 100, 200$ us ou pesos ou canadien?
Une denière question, c'est au sujet de la taxe d'entrée en RD est-ce que ceux qui ont voyagés avec gotraveldirect dernièrement on eux à la payer? Ou on doit calculer dans nos dépenses seulement la taxes de sortie + - 20$ us.

Non, je n'ai jamais voyagé de cette façon, malheureusement... Personnellement, j'aime bien savoir où je vais mais ça, c'est un choix que je fais.
Je ne connais pas Sky Airlines..... Je connais, par contre, Skyservices, peut-être pas la même compagnie car je sais que Go Travel voyageait avec Zoom et que ceux-ci ont fait faillite...
J'ai toujours voyagé en $ CDN en République dominicaine. J'apporte, par contre, quelques 1 $ US pour les premiers pourboires.
J'apporte, d'habitude, 100 $ CDN et, si je décide de faire de grosses dépenses, j'utilise la carte de crédit.
Pour la taxe de départ, je l'ai toujours payé à la sortie mais je sais qu'à présent, avec certaines compagnies, elle est comprise dans le prix.

Je suis aller en république il y a 2 ans et les 4 étoiles sont déjà une coche au dessus de ceux de cuba... Je vais attendre de tes nouvelles!

Salut! Moi aussi je parts pour La Romana avec un Wild Card de gotraveldirect. Les mêmes dates que toi: du 26 janvier au 2 février. Je me demande si on va se ramasser à la même place. Le wild card est nouveau à la Romana alors c'est difficile d'avoir des commentaires mais je vois pas pourquoi ça irait mal car c'est garantie d'être un 4 étoiles ou plus. En République, les 4 étoiles n'ont rien à voir avec ceux de Cuba, c'est pas mal mieux!

Pour ceux que ça interesse, tous les Wild Card La Romana 4 étoiles sont aller au même hotel: le Coral Costa Caribe. C'était vraiment bien comme place! Ceux qui ont pris le Wild card 3.5 était ailleurs (je sais pas ou). J'ai vraiment aimé l'hotel: plage et bouffe était très bien.

I found a hotel, the Kappa Club Crystal Bay Resort, and online reviews for this hotel recommend a guide named Omar. I contacted him via WhatsApp, and he's offering a 2-day, 1-night safari in Tsavo East, a "blue safari," and a Marafa Canyon day trip for 400 € per person.
I’m asking for help from people who’ve already done these excursions because I have no idea what these offers entail.

Can anyone recommend 5 or 6 hotel names that meet the following criteria? (I’m not too picky, lol)

2. Adults-only
3. Beautiful beach and pool
4. Hotel for relaxing (no "factory hotels")
5. One-week stay in February 2026
6. A nice hotel (3 or 4 stars) but no need for an ultra-palace
Oh, and I almost forgot the main thing 😉: budget between 3500 € and 4000 € for two, including flights from Montreal-Mexico-Montreal.

Hi there, I’m a 43-year-old woman planning to travel solo in early March. I’m not really into "commercial resorts," but if I find a place that fits my criteria, I might be interested. To add to the info in the title, I’m open to various activities, but ideally, it’d include snorkeling, hiking, dance (every evening if possible!), group tours, etc. I’d love to meet people (not necessarily a man—just people in general!). We’ll be in Venice from March 20th to 24th, and I’m looking (for two couples) for a hotel close to St. Mark’s Square—my husband can’t walk long distances. For four nights with breakfast, our budget is around 1,400 € per couple. To avoid too much walking for him, I’d also prefer a hotel where we could potentially eat dinner in the evenings.

You can’t pay online there—you just submit a reservation request (enquiry).
The second is the NWR (Namibia Wildlife Resorts) site: https://www.nwr.com.na, where you *can* pay online.
Is the latter one reliable?

Bonjour nous arriverons dimanche 5 mai ( à partir de 16h25) à l'aéroport de Punta Cana pour profiter d'un séjour que mon amie à gagner à l’hôtel Gran Bahia Principe La Romana.
L'avion est offert par la compagnie aérienne, l'hôtel je pense par la chaine hôtelière, mais aujourd'hui je m’inquiète du transfert car aucune info et j'apprends que rien n'est prévu.
D’après ce que j'ai vu le dernier car expreso part de Punta Cana à 16h00
Y-a t'il d'autres moyens de transports collectif (guagua) qui puisse faire le trajet ou au moins nous avancer jusqu'à La Romana ou San Pedro de Marcoris et je pense qu'on finira le trajet en taxi.
Si c'est trop compliqué ça sera navette privée mais on est plus "lonely planet " que navette privée et hôtel tout inclus.

A ce jour elles n apparaissent plus sur mon compte Booking , j en ai informé par mail le service clients mais ce dernier ne repond pas ...donc impossible d annuler ces reservations....Quelqu un a t il connu ce probleme et l a t il resolu ???
