Après avoir effectué une dizaine de voyages en amérique du sud avec mon épouse, nous sommes tombés amoureux de l'Argentine, et l'idée nous est venue que nous pourrions y continuer notre retraite en nous y installant.
Nous y avons déja effectué 2 voyages et nous préparons le 3° pour cet automne.
A l'instar de certains pays ( comme le Maroc par exemple ) existe-t-il de nombreux français vivant leur retraite en Argentine ? Quelle est leur expérience ?

Les quelques francais que j ai pu rencontrer etaient tous tres satisfaits.

Le plus gros problème (et parfois le seul) qui se pose aux retraités français est le coût des services de santé. Renseignez vous pour cotiser à la sécu française (je crois que la Caisse des Français à l'Étranger est une des caisses, je ne sais pas si c'est la seule) qui coûte très cher mais qui remboursera les dépenses locales.

Bonjour .. Le message date un peu, mais je suis dans le même processus que vous : français, au canada depuis 12 ans, je suis en train d'envisager le Costa Rica et/ou l'Argentine comme endroit de retraite.

Pour le moment nous n'avons pas de tuyaux car nous sommes en France dans le Sud à coté de Perpignan mais ceci est juste un passage et regardons les possibilités de l'argentine et du Maroc ou nous envisagons QQ mois d'hiver pour l'ambiance , le climat, le cout de la vie 1/2 moins cher qu'en France et les visites découvertes, mais l'argentine est à parcourir c'est sûr.

Je ne connais pas la situation , en ce moment précis , mais il me semble que les retraites sont répartis , suite à l inflation galopante et dernièrement une différence entre le change officiel de 30 ou 40 %
Coût de la vie 1/2 moins chère qu'en France ?
Je pense que vous devriez interroger des résidents retraités en Argentine pour connaître la situation précise en ce moment coût de la vie , inflation annuelle , sécurité , change et moyen de transfert
- Maroc vous serez loin des 50 % moins cher aussi
Pas loin de l Argentine le Paraguay un intervenant sur ce site régulièremenmt.

Ce petit message mais qui servira pour d'autres.
La première chose à faire est d'aller au Consulat Argentin qui vous donnera toutes les informations nécessaires. Une fois tout rassemblé plus tous vos papiers à mettre en règle en France cela va vous prendre un an au minimum.
Et à ce moment vous pouvez venir en tant que résident permanent.
Ce document, en Argentine, vous prendras également environ un an.
Voilà ce qu'il y a à savoir au début.
Je ne suis pas Français, mais Belge et le parcours que j'ai fait pour arriver ici, n'est peut-être pas le même. Autre avantage que j'ai eu, mon épouse est Argentine et là c'est la grosse clé qu'il fallait avoir.(Comme dans Fort Boyard!)

Alors pour des Français pensionnés, ils sont peut-être 16.000 mais certainement pas d'une pension française!

Il me semblait avoir entendu que des retraiés avec des pensions partaient ou étaient répartis car l "inflation en Argentine étaient Bcp plus elevée que l augmentation des retraites et j entend cela au moins depuis 2010 ..
Dernièrement nous entendions parler aussi d un écart entre le change officiel et dans la rue très important - mais lorsque l on est résidentiel est difficile d'avoir des euros billets .
Il est vrai que 6,10 paraît un bon change officiel
Mais par exemple peut ont vivre sur BA ou argentine avec 2000 euros maintenant et perspectives à long term sur politique et coût vie. .

J'ai rencontré il n'y a pas longtremps, un Belge qui vivait au Nord du Brésil et marié avec une Brésilienne et qui me disait que la vie pour un expatrié européen n'était pas facile.
Ici, en Argentine, la paperasserie régne en maître, il faut avoir le temps et de la patience, mais on sait y arriver.
Pour une retraite commode dans un lieu très commode, il est préférable de regarder vers Mar del Plata où la vie est beaucoup plus tranquille que Buenos Aires avec également la possibilité de vivre sans polution et sans stress.
Pour vivre à Buenos Aires avec ton statut d'étranger mais avec ta pension, c'est pas possible, ils vont te faire payer un loyer exorbitant.Le mieux est d'acheter sa maison.
Buenos Aires n'est qu'à 400km et on y arrive facilement par train ou Bus.
Le change, lorsque je suis arrivé était aux envrons de 3, maintenant il est monté à 6 mais la vie a augmenté et les salaires argentins ne suivent pas. Il est toujours possible de vivre avec 2000€ sur un compte en Europe et non ici. Il est possible d'acheter des euros ici au taux officiel mais je ne vois la nécessité puisque tout se paye en pesos et que si tu désires voyager, tu as ta carte de banque française.
Pour les formalités, la France n'a rien à voir, c'est le Consulat Argentin qui te donnera le feu vert. Et à ce moment tu recevras de leur part, deux enveloppes, une à remettre à ton entrée à Eizeiza à la douane qui te permettra d'avoir un visa permanent sur ton passeport en attendant ta résidence et l'autre à remettre au Ministère Intérieur lorsque tu feras ta résidence.
Mais surtout, évite de vivre à Buenos Aires. Si tu vit au Brésil que choisirais-tu: Sao paulo ou Rio de Janeiro? Et bien ici, c'est le même.

After living for many years in the West (Belgium, Italy, Switzerland),
I’ve decided to return and settle in Cameroon, my home country.
Currently an entrepreneur in real estate and transport, I’m looking for a partner / partners / foundation to collaborate on an agriculture project, as I own 10 hectares of land.
The hectares have remained unused for years due to a lack of financial means, since the project requires what I’d call a considerable investment. As the main stakeholder, I have a minimal contribution to offer.
I believe it’s time to bring this space to life to meet pressing needs and serve the common good of society.
The project is simple:
1) Grow maize + build a processing plant to produce flour
2) Open a mini supermarket + a modern bakery using the flour for pastries, etc.
3) Build a healthcare service
4) Build a nursery and primary school
5) Construct free housing for retired expatriates in exchange for their voluntary contributions in their respective fields.
