Bjr Alicia....suis depuis 1 an a Empuriabrava près de Rosas. Ai acheté un appart. Les prix sont plus élevés que dans le sud de l' Espagne ou l'intérieur des terres, mais être à 100m d'une superbe plage, dans un appart récent et a 50 mètres des commerces est nettement moins cher que sur la cote d'azur. Quand au coût de la vie, je l'estime à 20% moins élevé qu'en France, mais tout dépend de son mode de vie. Fruit et légumes sont autour de 1 euros le kg sur le marché sur la plupart des stands... Il y a un seul impôt pour l'immobilier quand on est propriétaire et autour de 400 euros/an pour l'instant. Là ou je suis c'est très cosmopolite, avec de plus en plus de français, des allemands, belges, hollandais anglais et aussi des russes. Il y a un fond d'habitants en hiver qui fait que tous les super marchés sont ouverts, et environ 40% des autres boutiques et pour les restaurants à vue de nez 70%. D'autre part l'intérêt du nord de la catalogne est que l'on est à 3km de la frontière (65 de Perpignan) et que l'on peut continuer à se faire soigner en France si nécessaire

Par contre, en ce qui concerne les papiers administratifs : retraite, sécurité sociale ............. comment est -ce que ça se pratique ? Je suis moi-même retraitée du privé.

Bjr Alicia, pour les retraités du privé, les impôts sur les revenus, selon la convention entre les deux pays, sont à payer en Espagne si l'on y réside plus de 6 mois par an (cas le plus simple avec plus de propriété en france).
Les caisses de retraite virent sur un compte en Espagne et/ou en france (loi Européenne on peut ouvrir un cpte partout en Europe même si l'on ne réside pas dans le pays), et ne déduisent plus CSG-CRDS.
Pour la sécu, ils retiennent 4% sur a retraite, on est à la caisse de l'indre et loir, et l'on peut se faire soigner en france (Rosas Empuriabrava sont très proches de la frontière) ou l'on veut car plus soumis au parcours (j'avais demandé plusieurs fois à la sécu locale et régionale de mon domicile en france, ils étaient incapables de me répondre précisément, ils me parlaient de formulaire 112, qui est pour les vacanciers!).
Mais il faut aussi penser aux urgences éventuelles, et j'ai préféré prendre aussi la CFE (caisse des français de l'Etranger c'est aussi la sécu) et ils me retiennent 4% en plus. Mais là on peut se se faire soigner en urgence dans le monde entier, ils ont aussi des prises en charge dans une liste d'établissements.
On peut aussi s'inscrire à la sécu espagnole (je n'ai pas fait), c'est gratuit, mais il faut faire la queue pour les consultations (mais il y a aussi une médecine privée en Espagne). Quand à la mutuelle, j'ai trouvé la mutuelle Verte à Toulon, quasiment au prix de mon ancienne mutuelle et qui accepte l'Espagne. Attention aux assurances qui sont listée sur internet avec accords CFE, elles sont très chères et plutot adaptées aux gens qui travaillent et dont l'entreprise paye l'assurance complémentaire.
