Après avoir passé les 17 premières années de ma vie en Afrique (Ouest, Est et Nord), j'attaque ma 8ème année en France...
Un diplôme d'ingénieur réseaux télécoms en poche et une expérience de 2-3 ans dans un grand organisme international, je sentais qu'il était temps de rejoindre d'autres cieux, de continuer ma fuite en avant vers des destinations toujours plus exotiques. Je pensais mon expérience certes non professionnelle de l'étranger, un argument de choix pour convaincre les recruteurs de ma capacité d'adaptation et de ma curiosité culturelle.
Cependant c'est là qu'il y a un hic ! Celà fait un an que je cherche et rien ne vient ! Ce n'est pas faute de viser large : Afrique, Asie, Océanie, Amérique, Moyen Orient, je prend ce qu'il passe, je veux tout voir, tout connaître !
J'en arrive à ma venue sur ce forum, sauriez-vous où je pourrais vendre ma formation et mon expérience et trouver un emploi en cette période de crise ? Est-il possible de trouver à distance et si oui, quelle est la meilleure manière de procéder?
On me dit ça et là, va sur place ! Choisis ton pays et tente ta chance ! Autant célibataire je l'aurais fait immédiatement mais tenter l'aventure avec une femme et un enfant, c'est un risque que je ne veux pas prendre...
J'ai l'impression que pour les jeunes, les entreprises ne jurent que par le VIE mais dur de se satisfaire d'un tel statut (sans évoquer l'indemnité qui est parfois insuffisante, je veux parler du visa qui ne conviendrait qu'à un célibataire). Je ne cherche pas forcemment le contrat d'expat en or (issu d'une période révolue) mais tout simplement être payé correctement.

il n'y a que sur place que tu peux trouver, il faut absolument que tu te déplaces tu n'es pas obliger de débarquer avec femme et enfant, ils peuvent très bien venir te rejoindre après.
mais sache 1 chose tant que tu resteras chez toi rien ne viendra comme ça...😮

A mon sens, cette stratégie n'est valable que dans les pays développés là où il existe une véritable classe moyenne... Dans des pays en voie de développement, je connais peu de français qui se satisferaient d'un contrat local... Or c'est évidemment ce qu'on trouve si on recherche un travail sur place !
à distance, c'est juste pour la prospection. Pour concretiser, c'est sur place.
Il est possible de trouver du contrat local de bonne qualité (cad mutuelle+retraite) mais pareil c'est lors de la discussion sur place.
Ma question à la limite ce n'était pas de définir la stratégie de recherche mais de trouver quelques pays cibles où actuellement il y a de la demande malgré la crise et où mon profil serait recherché et valorisé.
tente le canada je sais ce n'est pas exotique ////// pour l'asie il faut que l'on vois ta face pas de face pas de contrat . le problème français est on ne veut pas changer de métier .🤪

Vu la situation actuelle (crise etc...) ça me parait un peu aller au casse pipe que d'aller à l'étranger comme ça pour y chercher un travail.
L'histoire du je veux voir ta tête ça marche pour un emploi de serveur ou d'hôtesse mais pour recruter un ingénieur réseaux et télécom, ce qui est recherché ce n'est pas une gueule ce sont des compétences spécifiques, le recrutement prend un certain temps.
A priori une entreprise est capable à distance de voir si le profil l'intéresse et le cas échéant convoquer le personne pour un entretien.
Essaye de voir par un cabinet de chasseur de tête, il y a des cabinets de recrutement internationaux. Dans ton cas c'est l'emploi et les opportunités qui vont déterminer le lieu où tu vas aller.

Le VIE est un contrat à la sauce française convenant à ceux qui ont, presque, une mentalité de fonctionnaire... Si tu veux un véritable contrat, il faut une véritable expérience, probante, valorisante et, surtout, vendable aux groupes mondiaux. Cela signifie avoir travaillé quelques années en Europe afin de ne plus être qu'un jeune diplômé n'ayant encore rien prouvé.
Les cadres expérimentés travaillant dans des groupes internationaux bénéficient encore de contrat en or. Pour moi, l'époque révolue s'est terminée en Indonésie en 2001 mais si tu as quelque chose à offrir, il y a encore des opportunités en Asie ou ailleurs.
Je ne suis plus à proprement parlé un jeune diplômé puisque j'approche des 3 ans d'expérience, expérience probante puisque j'ai fait de la gestion de projet IT et du support niveau 3 sur un backbone réseau complexe pour un grand organisme international. Le problème c'est que la plupart des offres que je vois à l'expatriation, c'est plutôt 10 ans d'expérience !
Pour les jeunes, c'est VIE et rien d'autre ! Et faut pas croire qu'ils sont réservés aux jeunes diplômés, il n'y a qu'à voir les offres où on demande un CV long comme le bras pour aller réparer des pc à l'autre bout du monde...
Je n'ai rien contre ce statut sauf qu'il ne permet pas dans la plupart des cas de partir en famille !

Les gros cabinets comme Michael Page, Mercuri Urval, ... proposent sur leur site des annonces intéressantes. J'ai même vu une annonce pour un Directeur financier pour une ferme du Surinam (salaire annuel de 200 000 euros nets) sur le site de l'APEC !
tu devrais essayer du coté de la chine par exemple.
c'est vrai que 3 ans d'experience ce n'est pas enorme, tu n'es pas un senior encore.
le mieux c'est de te deplacer pour prospecter pendant tes vacances par exemple car on te demandera toujours plusieurs rencontres directs sans que les frais de deplacement soient pris en charge.
si je comprend bien, l'Asie est porteur actuellement ne crois pas trop les commérages ...... l'asie aussi est dans la tourmente et puis les lois ici sont très protectionniste ...

cela depend des pays mais je suppose que tu veux parler de la thailande!
la thailande est encore pas trop mal loti mais la chine ça patine sec ........ de toute façon venir ici actuellement il faut parler la langue du pays . au moins cela ......

After living for many years in the West (Belgium, Italy, Switzerland),
I’ve decided to return and settle in Cameroon, my home country.
Currently an entrepreneur in real estate and transport, I’m looking for a partner / partners / foundation to collaborate on an agriculture project, as I own 10 hectares of land.
