Quelques mois que je traine mes savates sur ce forum et c'est tres enrichissant! Mais voila, maintenant j'aimerais bien avoir votre retour sur mes prises de tete personnelles!
Apres un an passe a Hong Kong, je finis dans moins de 2 mois mon VIE a Londres, et suis prise d'une envie irrepressible de voyages et d'Asie! J'envisage de partir voyager 3-4 mois a partir de septembre en Asie mais dispose d'un budget limite: 3, 000 euros (ce qui n'est pas non plus rien, vous allez me dire).
Mais je stresse un peu a l'idee de partir sans aucun plan pour apres et de devoir revenir apres quelques mois au bercail, a crecher dans le salon des parents et pointer aux assedic...
Dans l'ideal, j'aimerais prolonger de quelques mois mon voyage et ensuite essayer de trouver un boulot... en Asie ou en Australie.
Donc, mes questions sont: combien de temps peut-on tenir avec disons 5, 000 euros (la je viderais toutes mes economies) en voyageant - sans faire de folie of course? 3-4 mois? plus? est-il possible de trouver des petits boulots genre prof de francais ou autre en Asie pour pouvoir prolonger un peu son voyage? pensez-vous que c'est realisable ou totalement utopique de s'installer vraiment dans un pays apres un voyage et trouver du boulot la-bas?
Dans ce cas, est-il plus facile de le faire en Asie (sachant qu'il y a bien sur la barriere de la langue et des visas) ou en Australie (en partant avec un working-holiday visa)?

Mais voila, le probleme est que je ne suis pas sure... L'Asie me tente, la chine en particulier (j'ai commence a apprendre le mandarin) mais j'ai peur de galerer pour m'installer la-bas et bosser. Sinon l'Australie serait l'autre possibilite...

Quand tu dis que je peux tenir un an avec 5, 000 euros, j'imagine que c'est plutot en restant dans le meme coin non? je veux dire, sans trop vadrouiller d'un pays a l'autre?
euh, je ne connais pas le niveau de vie en Asie (qui d'ailleurs n'est pas le même selon les pays), mais déjà en France il y a un paquet de gens qui vivent avec le smic, soit 957 euros tout rond par mois... donc tu fais le calcul... Avec 5000 euros en France, si tu ne recherches pas le grand luxe mais juste vivre normalement, tu peux déjà vivre pendant quasiment un an. Alors dans un pays d'Asie... En fait, tout dépend de... tes dépenses 😛

Pour le boulot oublie les pays comme la Thailande, le Vietnam, le cambodge, etc...bref tous ces pays qui n'ont pas besoin d'un étranger car il coute bien trop cher et n'apporte pas forcément grand chose.
Il reste la Chine, encore que pour gagner sa vie mieux vaut compter sur Hong Kong. Vu que tu as fait un VIE j'imagine que tu dois savoir faire quelque chose ?

J'ai passe un an a Hong kong et fait un stage la-bas, et j'avais trouve que c'etait assez dur de trouver un vrai boulot quand tu n'es pas hong-kongais et que tu n'as pas de permis de travail...
Je ne sais pas ce qu'il en est en Chine meme; j'imagine que ce n'est pas evident non plus. T'as peut-etre une idee sur la question?
Tu devrais pouvoir trouver en Chine, mais question salaire ce sera très certainement un salaire local, autrement dit pas grand chose, à moins de parler chinois.
Il n'y a pas de secret dans ces pays, soit tu parles la langue, soit tu as des compétences techniques (ingénieur) rares.
En deux mots:lance-toi!! Si tes aspirations te mène vers l'Asie la meilleure des solutions est d'y aller.Tu disposes apparament d'un vrai budget si tu ne sais pas au juste où t'installée, prévois 1000euros(ça fait un peu plus en dollars!)sers toi du forum pour tes plans déplacements et promis, y a moyen de faire qque borne sur l'asie sans te ruinée.Le meilleure plan pour moi a été de faire comme les autoctones, l'idéale est de te faire des potes parmi eux(assez facilement), mais ça ne te garantira pas d'avoir accès à leur prix, à toi de négocier(toujours avec le sourire) et à te faire apprécier(ça n' a rien d'un défi).Pense peut-être à un projet suivant tes affinitées prof.Pour ma part, je retourne au Cambodge fin août, sans fric!!!mais du boulot, quand on veut, on en trouve.Evidement, si tu t'attends à gagner la même chose qu'en Europe, reste ici!Je pense que aller vivre là-bas correspont avant tout à se fondre dans une autre philosophie de vie et pas d'essayer d'avoir les avantages financiers de nos pays européens et la pseudo-tranquillitée de l'asie...Si besoin, je peux te donner des infos sur le Cambodge;Good luck for you, comme ils disent là-bas.
Avec 5000 Euros tu dois deja enlever le billet d'avion, donc on va arrondir à 1000 Euros.
Il te reste donc 4000 Euros. Si tu par sans travailler et en te déplacant, ce budget va vite etre englouti, meme en Asie.
Par exemple si tu devais résider à Bangkok, compte deja 150 Euros de loyer par mois. Tu rajoutes à cela au moins 150 Euros de bouffe par mois.
Tu vois, le budget monte très très vite, meme en Asie. Et là je ne compte que le loyer et la bouffe.
Tu as fait un VIE, donc j'imagine que tu as des compétences dans quelque chose, et en plus une expérience. Mais malgré cela, bosser en Asie n'est pas facile, il faut bien souvent parler la langue locale (Hong Kong étant l'exception), accepter un salaire moyen, et des horaires chargés (et très très peu de vacances).
Voila, autant dire qu'il faut bien prendre sa décision. Et attention, tu connais Hong Kong, mais Hong Kong n'a rien à voir avec le reste de l'asie. Je te conseille avant tout de voyager un peu dans les pays qui t'attirent pour mieux te rendre compte de ce qu'est la "vraie" Asie (Hong Kong étant riche par rapport au reste).

Je me lance en effet, et pars le 10 septembre en asie... avec un aller simple pour l'instant! je debarque a hong kong (billet vraiment pas cher avec oasis, meme en aller simple) et suis bien contente a l'idee de revoir la ville + mes potes restes la-bas. et ensuite direction la thailande, puis laos, cambodge, vietnam...
je me renseigne pour bosser dans une assoc' humanitaire lors de mon periple. et ensuite... we'll see!!!!

En fait je vais partir à HK en janvier et je voulais savoir si tu avais des noms d'entreprises là bas qui embaucheraient des français.
Comment peut-on se loger là bas car j'ai cru comprendre qu'on ne pouvait pas louer un appart en tant qu'expat.

Bonjour hugo. J'ai bien reçu ton message en effet même si tout cela me semble très loin! je ne suis pas très sûre de pouvoir t'être utile, mais d'autres forumistes habitant sur HK te le seront peut-être davantage.
Pour le boulot là bas, le mieux est de contacter la chambre de commerce française de HK quand tu arrives; ils ont toute une liste d'entreprises françaises implantées là bas qui pourront donc être intéressés par ta candidature. Sinon, tout dépend du domaine dans lequel tu bosses, ton expérience etc.; mais en règle générale tu seras plus susceptible de trouver du travail dans une boîte française ou étrangère travaillant avec la France où tu peux exploiter ta langue maternelle.
Pour les apparts, je n'avais pas eu de problème particulier pour louer qch... A moins que la législation ait changé? à vérifier...
