Je souhaite, pour des raisons personnelles, m'installer en Thailande.
J'ai épluché les forums qui parlent de possibilités d'embauche pour des farangs, sans rien trouver de bien concluant.
De plus, la recherche depuis la France ne facilite pas la tache, j'ai postulé à de nombreux jobs trouvés sur des sites anglosaxons, sans succès.
Pour ce qui est des sites francophone (Gavroche, Mathailande) il en est de même, ma recherche n'a pas été très fructueuse.
Je pense de plus en plus a partir sans véritable piste de boulot, et effectuer les recherches et démarches sur place. Je dispose d'un petit capital qui me permettra de payer le billet d'avion et survivre sur place quelque temps.
Je m'adresse à tous les connaisseurs de ce pays, pensez vous qu'il soit raisonnable de partir ainsi, et est il réaliste de penser pouvoir décrocher un poste sur place en faisant du "porte à porte"?
Bien entendu j'organiserai ma recherche de manière à optimiser mes chances (prise de contact avec la chambre de commerce, démarchage des entreprises francaises en priorité ect).
Je suis conscient de l'ampleur de la tache (sans oublier les histoires de logement, de visa ect).
Je suis ouvert à tout conseil ou toute suggéstion pouvant m'orienter positivement.
J'ai même envisager de suivre une formation d'instructeur de plongée pour enseigner en Thailande et à terme, pourquoi pas, lancer ma propre affaire.

Tout départ aventureux vers ce pays risque de se transformer en fiasco; et un retour alors nécessaire encore plus compliqué.
Comme vous avez pu le constater, trouver un job sur place est ardu, voire impossible compte tenu de vos connaissances (ne pas parler la langue, etc...)
Si vous possédez un "capital", manifestement il est bien léger, puisque vous indiquez qu'il couvrirait votre billet et qqs mois sur place.
Sans un capital suffisant pour démarrer un petit "own-business" sur place, et tenir financièrement le temps que cela tourne, comment faire?...
Ce n' est pas la compagne ou compagnon sur place qui va pouvoir vous entretenir durablement, et la question des visas va se poser aussi rapidement.
Ce pays n'est pas réputé pour l'accueil fraternel de son administration non plus...
Si vous en avez les moyens, partez quelques mois sur place, apprenez la langue, tissez des liens, peut-être qu'un débouché s'offrira, avec beaucoup de chance, de volonté et d'opportunisme.🙂

En gros vous me conseillez de partir quand même, mais dans un premier temps de ne pas me focaliser sur une recherche d'emploi mais d'essayer d'y apprendre la langue et tisser des liens, me construire un réseau? Cela me convient mais comment subvenir à me besoin durant cette période (lorsque mon maigre capital sera épuisé)?
Je pars avec un ami qui disposera d'un revenu fixe de 1200€/mois sur place et qui est disposé à m'aider si besoin (même si à mes yeux l'indépendance est nettement préférable).
Je suis prêt à prendre des cours de Thai.
Vous parliez de l'ouverture d'un petit own business, mais avant cette étape je pense qu'il est nécessaire d'accumuler une connaissance, une expérience du pays, donc d'être sur place. Comment faire pour se financer ( modestement) pendant cette période de "découverte et d'acclimatation" ?
Je ne suis pas à la recherche d'une solution miracle, mais certains d'entre vous ont surement des pistes pour un européen parlant anglais couramment et doté d'une très bonne capacité d'adaptation!

IL est vrai que prendre des cours de thai présente un double intérêt: en plus d'apprendre à maitriser la langue du pays cela règle le problème du visa. cependant cela à un coût. Je pourrai tenir quelque temps avec mes économies sans travailler, mais surement pas 1 année.
Et mon soucis est qu'il est vraiment difficile de trouver quelque chose depuis la france, si je pars donc, je prends le risque de m'installer la bas, de m'inscrire à la fac, de payer pour mon visa ect ... le tout pour revenir "la queue entre les jambes" si je ne trouve pas de boulot sur place et donc ne suis pas en mesure de me financer.
Sacré challenge de partir en espérant trouver un job sur place ... si ca se passe bien no problem mais en cas d'echec cela peut devenir un enfer !
Je suis aventurier de nature mais avec un coté rationnel qui me rappel à l'ordre.
Si tu disposes de qualifications exceptionnelles tu peux contacter les sociétés européennes implantées en Asie et qui pourraient être intéressées par tes capacités. Si tes qualifications sont "normales" et identiques à celles que peuvent posséder un Thaï dans son propre pays il ne te reste plus qu'à arrêter de rêver. La seule oppornubité est de créer ta propre activité avec tous les avantages et risques que cela représente.
Mais il est clair que tu ne trouveras pas de solution via internet. La seule vérité tu la découvriras sur place. Je suis du même avis que les autres posteurs, il faut d'abord que tu viennes tâter le terrain. Perso je ferais cela en deux étapes : te servir de ton premier pécule pour prospecter, découvrir le pays et ses nombreuses facettes, voir les endroits où tu aimerais résider et découvrir son potentiel à exploiter. Une fois cela fait il ne te reste plus qu'à retourner en France et à bosser le temps nécessaire à économiser le pécule nécessaire à une installation définitive.

Quel rapport entre mes activités et la situation spécifique de NimaHafez ? Il faudrait apprendre à répondre correctement aux questions posées plutôt que de venir polluer des posts à des fins personnelles
J'avais bien compris que par internet très peu de chances de trouver un job sur place..
Je pense faire comme vous me le conseillez, partir avec une petite somme afin de tâter un peu le terrain, sonder un peu les coins ou j'aimerai éventuellement m'établir ( pour l'instant je suis attiré par Chang mai et par les iles du golf de thailande).
Est une pratique courante en Thaïlande que de démarcher en porte à porte, c'est a dire se déplacer physiquement dans les entreprises , hotels ect pour présenter sa candidature et proposer ses services ? Cela ne pose pas de problèmes même pour un farang ?

le permit de travail se donne que si tu as le travail, et il est valable que pour ce travail ..
