Mon ami revient de Singapour, il est parti voir 3 amis (dont un couple marié) ils sont déjà installés depuis 1 an 1/2 et ont monté un restaurant (restauration rapide --> tartine, quiche, salade) le bilan de leur 1 ère année est très bon !!
ils ont vraiment envie que nous les rejoignons et nous sommes très attirés par cette invitation!
Nous envisageons très sérieusement de partir vivre à Singapour, on lui propose 2 choses :
1 contrat local (2500 €) pas de contrat D'expatrié et donc aucun avantage 😕 il serait commercial dans l'agro-alimentaire. On lui propose également de monté une franchise (restaurant français) il est cuisinier de formation...
Moi, je n'ai pas d'emploi en vue à Singapour... je parle très mal anglais et j'ai une expérience professionnelle dans l'audiovisuel comme chargée d'évènementiel, chargée de production, assistante de réalisation et ou de plateau... j'ai un parcours atypique mais pas désordonné 😉 Je ne pense pas trouver d'emplois si je parle mal l'anglais (malgré les cours que je prends depuis 3 mois)
J’aimerai savoir si vous avez des conseils à nous donner, si vous trouvez que c'est imprudent de partir à l'aventure sans job (pour moi) j'imagine que je vais l'aider dans la création d'entreprise mais je pense ne pas en retirer un salaire dans l'immédiat donc nous allons vivre sur nos économies (relativement maigre) d'ailleurs pouvez-vous me dire combien S$ il faut pour vivre à 2 sur une année ?

Chaque expérience est différente et la chance est un paramètre qu'on ne peut pas maitriser. Juste pour te raconter notre expérience. Je suis partie avec mon concubin il y a 7 mois de Paris à Singapour car on me proposait un poste ici.
Mon ami est venu avec moi, il est monteur Video/graphiste et travaillait à Paris en Free lance/intermittent du Spectacle.
Jusqu'a maintenant il n'a pas trouvé de travail en poste fixe, juste des petits boulots par ci par là de free lance, mais comme on n'est pas mariés, pour des questions de visa, il n'a pas le droit de créer sa propre boite afin d'émettre des factures et d'etre payé en Free lance. bref, un casse tête et les entreprises locales ici ont des quotas d'embauches pour les étrangers donc pas beaucoup de postes disponibles. Les seules options restent les entreprises françaises (entre français ca devrait etre plus simple...) mais la création ici ce n'est pas ce qui est le plus populaire, c'est un peu le pays du business alors si tu as des convictions artistiques, comme mon ami qui n'a pas envie de faire les pubs Mac Do, c'est chaud.
Les niveaux de salaire locaux sont très bas et les apparts super chers et officiellement on n'a pas le droit de louer des HDB (HLM locaux) qui sont moins chers si on n'est pas résident permanents de Singapour...
Bref, aujourd'hui, mon ami repart à la fin du mois, mois je recherche activement sur Paris, et notre aventure a été au bilan enrichissante mais super dure car je pense qu'on avait pas assez anticipé le marché du travail ici...
Singapour c'est très sympa... si on voyage pas mal autour, si on est pété de thunes et si on bosse dans la finance, si on a des enfants ou si on est un mec célibataire... mais en tous ca c'est sur, pas pour y rester à longeur d'année.
Je pense que votre expérience peut etre très réussie que tu devrais juste contacter les associations françaises et te faire un petit réseau avant d'arriver, sauf si cela ne te fait rien de ne pas bosser...
Mon époux risque de partir un an sur Singapour, vous avez l'air de dire que la vie y est chère .

Disons que si la boite de votre mari prend en charge le logement c'est vraiment la source principale de dépense.
Pour etre pas tres loin du centre et des stations de metro, nous payons 4000 SGD pour 60 metres carres environ.
Ensuite sans faire de folie, je dirais que pour la vie courante, 3000 à 4000 SGD par mois sont amplement suffisants si on ajoute les voyages, ca peut monter tres vite.
Ensuite ca depend des liens que vous souhaiter garder avec la France mais sur un salaire singapourien si vous voulez cotiser a la retraite, aux assedics, a la CFE + mutuelle, ca vous retire vite 50% du salaire... Il faut faire le calcul.
effectivement comme le dit Oukailian, il vaut mieux negocier un maximum le contrat (expens) pour tout les accoté ( logement, transport..). A Singapour ce qui a de plus chere c'est les appartements et les voitures.
Aprés tout depend ce qu'on defini par chere. Il y a 2 type d'appartement HDB (hlm, il y a des hlm de luxe aussi bien sur) et condominiums (appartements privé avec piscine, jakuzi, salle de sport etc..).
Pour se que paye Oukailian 4000 SGD il y a déjà de jolie condo. Pour la vie courrante je ne suis pas tout a fait d'accord avec 3000 a 4000 SGD / mois ( bon si c'est pour deux effectivement c'est bien ) sachant que si vous mangez vraiment local et que vous depenser pas votre argent dans l'alcool, les club, voyages etc cela revient vraiment pas chere.
Tout depends de ce qu'on veut faire. J'en connais qui se debrouille avec 500 sg$/mois pour la nourriture (pas au four season bien sur :p).
En ce moment les taxis subissent une crise au niveau des taxes donc ne pas prendre le taxis si vous voulez economiser, le mrt (metro) marche trés bien tout comme les bus. Singapour est connu pour avoir un servicing au top, on peu tout commander de la maison, les gens debarrassent les tables pour vous etc ( ce qui rend les singapouriens feignant haha ) Mais sinon pour un occidental la vie reste quand meme pas chere, elle est chere pour un local oui.
Je suis bien content d'avoir refait une dent et tout le tralala pour 25 euros ;) (si vous voyez de quoi je parle).
Il faut aussi savoir que le chomage n'hesite pas a Singapour, l'etat oblige tout le monde a travailler. Enfin essaye du moins.
Pour le coté assedics, etc je suis d'accord avec Oukailian, d'ailleur une fois qu'on c'est habituer la bas on a vite plus envie de payer la france lol, bref.
Sinon concernant les post video, je suis moi meme monteur, réalisateur et le propo "création ici ce n'est pas ce qui est le plus populaire" c'est faux.
Sa n'etait pas populaire avant c'est vrai car c'etait pas leur principal source de buisness, mais maintenant qu'il sont au top dans beaucoup de secteur il leur manque celui de la créa. C'est d'ailleur aussi pour ca que je vais surement revenir a Singapour :)
Du coup il y a beaucoup de nouvelle ecole d'art qui s'ouvre, et beaucoup d'entreprise qui debarque. Entre autre il y a maintenant les nouveau studio lucas qui recherchais beaucoup, spilberg vient d'ouvrir une ecole de ciné aussi. Les boite de créa y a en a gogo, elle sont juste bien caché dans des petits immeubles au dessus des resto etc...Les singapouriens on toujours été en crise identitaire et sont donc trés porté sur l'image, la mode, le fashion et la créa.
Voila quelques precisions, la decision t'appartien. Mais en tout cas pour ma part je suis pressé d'y retourner sa manque quand meme Singapour.
