Hi, I couldn’t find it in the existing discussions, but I thought there was a bus from the cruise port to a beach in Olbia—does anyone have any info? We’ll be there on a stopover and only have a few hours. Thanks for your help!

Hi, The link for the buses no longer works, but if it helps anyone, I found this one: https://olbia.mycicero.it/tp/aspo/StampaOrari/Index# It has all the Olbia bus lines with schedules, though so far I’ve only seen January’s posted. Thanks again for your reply and have a great day!

After our layover, here’s a slightly late update: we easily found buses to get to Olbia beach, no problem there. However, I wanted to let everyone know that to see the dolphins, the spot is only accessible by taxi or by car if you have one. Cruisers, beware! We’d booked for May 1st, and the total taxi cost was 90 euros because it was a public holiday. On the way back, it was 45 € since another couple was in the same situation and we shared. As for the dolphins, the experience was amazing—the company takes the time to make several trips to the different dolphins spotted. We’d taken the 11 AM slot, which is recommended in the morning, and honestly, it was fantastic.

Hi there, Just back from an MSC cruise summer 2025—we didn’t book an excursion in Obia. When you arrive at the port, a city shuttle bus takes you to the town center. It’s mandatory because walking in the port area isn’t allowed. Once you reach the free shuttle’s drop-off point, tourist buses offer round-trip transfers to the beaches for 10 €, and they bring you right back to the shuttle stop for your return to the port. I think this is the best option in terms of value, price, and convenience. Otherwise, there’s really not much to do in Olbia—the whole town can be explored in an hour max. The stopover isn’t very interesting if you stay in Olbia.
