Je prévoie de partir avec ma femme à palawan pendant environ 10jours et je privilégie el nido et l'ile de coron qui ont une trés bonne réputation!! mais je me suis un peut renseigné sur les forum et cela n'est pas si simple de rejoindre ces lieux sans passer par puerto princess.
Queslqu'un pourrait me renseigner si cela est possible et faisable de réserver un vol Paris Manille puis Manille el nido, rester quelques jours pour découvrir el nido puis prendre le ferry pour coron, rester également quelques jour dans les environ (ile de corin) et ensuite prendre un vol pour manille et ensuite paris.

Nous rentrons juste de Palawan , et le plus simple pour vous, ce serait de prendre un vol Manille-Coron, puis bateau Coron-El Nido, et de là, réserver le vol de retour pour Manille (aux environs de 7000 pesos, assez cher!!!)
Sinon, de El Nido, il y a des vans qui partent tous les jours pour Puerto Princesa, à 5H-7H-9H-14H, 5H30 de route. La route est quasiment terminée, le van est climatisé, c'est tout confort, enfin pour un trajet à Palawan. Dans la journée, tu peux attraper le dernier vol pour Manille facilement.
Les alentours d'El Nido sont magnifiques, en revanche, le village m'a beaucoup déçue: ça commence à être betonné, de grands hôtels horribles poussent derrière les petites maisons de pêcheurs, les prix s'envolent, et il n'est pas facile de trouver un logement correct en arrivant. On trouve toujours, mais le rapport qualité prix n'est pas terrible, et toutes les bonnes adresses sont prises d'assaut. Idem le soir pour manger, il y a quinze jours, il fallait réserver pour dîner dans pas mal d'endroits!!! Pas trop à notre goût!!!
Il y a un guide au top, Jason, il se trouve au restaurant en bambou qui fait l'angle entre la rue et la plage je ne me souviens plus du nom, mais on ne peut pas le louper.

Personnellement, et au risque de m'attirer les foudres de ceux qui ne seront pas d'accord, pour 8 jours sur place, je te conseillerais de ne pas aller à Coron, sauf si tu es plongeur.
A Coron, nous avons eu un temps déplorable, donc pas vraiment pu en profiter, mais, de ce que j'ai vu et entendu d'autres voyageurs, et ça n'engage que moi, si c'est pour profiter de paysages splendides, et faire du "Island Hoping", El Nido est mieux.
Je te recommanderais plutôt de passer deux ou trois jours à Port Barton ou aux alentours, sur une île genre Cacnipa ou Turtle Bay, selon votre budget. Calme garanti!
Puis El Nido, il y a beaucoup à faire!

Je ne pense pas qu'il faille réserver à l'avance en Novembre, il ne me semble pas que ce soit la haute saison... Il y a plein d'hôtels à El Nido, vraiment! Après, ce que je disais, c'est qu'en ce moment, il y a tellement de monde que ça limite le choix, mais il y a toujours quelque chose.
Pour la compagnie Manille-El Nido, je sais que ITI fais le trajet, il doit y en avoir d'autres, mais je ne suis pas sûre. ITI se réserve depuis El Nido, pas plus de 5 jours à l'avance si tu n'es pas dans un resort hors de prix. Pour l'aller, il va falloir que tu attendes d'autres réponses!!!
Avec ses conseils, je prévoie donc mon séjour de la façon suivante :
Décollage à Paris le 1 novembre 2012, arrivée a Manille puis
Décollage avec Cebu Pacific jusqu'à Coron
Hotel et visite des alentours 2 jours
Ensuite selon horaire, ferry direction El nido pour 6jour
Et enfin vol El nido réservé sur Artcafé direction Manille pour prendre un vol direction paris le meme jour (11 novembre).Cela vous parrez faisable sachant que l'on doit réserver le vol el nido - manille que 5jour à l'avance ? pensez vous qu'il y aura de la place pour cette période?

Je parlais de Coron City à Busuanga et ses alentours. Je n'ai pas dit que ça ne valait pas le coup, juste que pour un court séjour, à mon avis, si l'on exclut la plongée qui est vraiment interessante à Coron, il y a plus à faire à El Nido et alentours. Et pour le coup, oui, huit jours à Busuanga me parait énorme, mais encore une fois, ça n'engage que moi!!! Nous n'avons pas pu vraiment profiter des environs à cause de la météo, mais dixit une personne qui vivait là-bas, les tours en bateau sont moins interessants que ceux d'El Nido, ou tout au moins pas plus, et financièrement plus coûteux. Et Coron City n'a vraiment rien d'exceptionnel.
Par contre, je n'ai entendu que du bien des 4 jours de croisière entre Coron et El Nido, notamment avec Tao expeditions: conditions spartiates, mais experience inoubliable. Ca, si c'était à refaire et avec des dates qui correspondent, c'est quelque chose qui me motiverait sans hésiter!
Ca me parait très faisable. Il faut juste s'adresser au Art Cafe tout de suite en arrivant, mais en pleine saison, il y avait de la place. Il y a trois avions dans la journée, donc au pire, on n'a pas l'horaire que l'on veut, c'est ce qui est arrivé à mon ami, mais il a eu le jour souhaité sans problème, et en haute saison.
Pour les bateaux entre Coron et El Nido, c'est tous les jours départ le matin en ce moment, à vérifier si c'est pareil en novembre, mais je dirais que oui!

Je ne sais pas si on peut acheter le billet sur le site du Art Cafe, ça me parait bizarre, car normalement, la compagnie ITI est en partenariat avec les resort de luxe (tout appartient à la même famille), ils sont donc prioritaires pour les places sur les avions, c'est pour celà qu'ils ne vendent pas les places plus de 5 jours à l'avance, car il s'agit de celles qui restent. Mais bon, s'ils le proposent, à vérifier!
A Manille, il faut être deux heures à l'avance au terminal de départ. Ce n'est pas toujours le même que celui d'arrivée, bien que pour Coron, ça a été le cas pour nous. Compte 1/2 heure de trajet (c'est large) plus le temps de passer la douane et l'immigration plus les bagages... 3H-4H? Pour être sûr?

Pour résever le vol I.T.I El nido - Manille, je passe toujours par l'art café. En fait, je fais un virement à l'art café qui réserve mes billets que je récupère sur place à mon arivée à El nido. Judith, la patronne de l'Art Café, fait la réservation, en général je lui passe commande 1 mois avant, jamais eu aucun soucis, c'est trés sèrieux. Je vais encore faire pareil cette année en novembre. Pour tous les vols avec Cebu Pacific, je réserve directement en ligne sur leur site, mais certains ont des problèmes sur le site de Cebu pacific pour réserver semble t-il.

Ca dépend de ce que tu cherches. Nous on était au Shore Pass Lodge, en face de Art Cafe. 1500 pesos négocié 1300 pour une chambre avec vue sur la mer et clim, en pleine saison. Pour le reste, ça nous a paru tout très cher par rapport au reste des Philippines.
Les vols internationaux arrivent à Manille au terminal 1.
Pour enchaîner sur un vol Philippines Airlines, il faut se rendre au terminal 2.
Pour enchaîner sur un vol Cebu Pacific, il faut se rendre au terminal 3.
Entre l'attente de la navette et le trajet jusqu'au terminal 3, il faut une bonne heure => prévoir au moins trois heures pour anticiper un retard éventuel du vol international et une circulation particulièrement difficile dans ce quartier de Manille.
S'il existe des navettes gratuites entre les terminaux 1 et 2, la navette pour le terminal 3 coûte 20 pesos.
L'enregistrement des vols Cebu Pacific ouvre deux heures avant l'heure du vol.

Cebu Pacifique part bien du terminal 3......depuis 3 ans et l'ancien domestic Airport est la base de départ de Zest Air
China airlines est au départ du terminal 1 Ninoy Aquino international!
Une particularité au départ le terminal fee est seulement de 550 php pour 750 php pour les autres compagnies au départ de Manila pour l'Europe;KLM, Cathay Pacific.

Puerto Princesa est la capitale de Palawan.

Le supercat n'est pas un aéroglisseur, il ne navigue pas depuis Manila.....il était basé
sur Cebu à plus de 600km de Manila et assurait des transports sur Bohol et Camotes....suite à diverses pannes il me semble qu'il ne navigue plus et a été remplacé par une autre vedette rapide!

Dans tout les cas, 3 heures de transit entre un vol international et un vol domestique cela me parait un minimum.
Petit conseil aux Newbies comme moi, Attention aux enchainements vol domestique - vol international. Je ne connais pas la fiabilité d'horaire des vols ITI mais il m'est arrivé une mauvaise expérience sur le vol Busuanga - Manille d'une autre compagnie. Malgré les 4h30 de flexibilité entre l'arrivée prévue à Manille et le départ du vol pour Hong-Kong, j'ai quand même raté l'avion ...
Un vol domestique qui part avec 4h de retard, ça arrive.

Pour info car apparemment, je ne l'ai pas encore vue sur le forum, je viens de faire la traversée el nido-coron en speedboat.
Un speedboat fait depuis quelques semaine la liason elnido-coron en environ 4H, nous avons mis 4H30. le voyage coute 1760 pesos plus les 20pesos de la taxe portuaire. Le bateau part tout les jours à 6H00 du mat de elnido, rejoint coron, et apparemment refait le trajet inverse le même jour.
Du coup les prix des bancas qui faisait la liaison ont fortement chuté (pas forcement bon signe pour eux) car on voyait un peu partout dans el nido des affiches avec des prix de l'ordre de 1200 pesos avec repas pour la traversée.
Fabien pas encore remis du décallage horaire et du changement de temperature

Je confirmes , s'est Montenegro la compagnie, l'est prit en sens inverse Coron-El Nido, le 15 avril 2012, Départ 12.00 am de Coron, il n'y a pas de repas a bord, mais 2/3 bricoles et boisons qu'ils vendent a bord

First stop on our discovery of the peninsula: Amphawa. It’s our first night in Thailand (we arrived at Suvarnabhumi at 8:50 AM).
Our initial plan was to explore the area before heading further south. The Mae Klong Railway Market is tempting... but what else is there to do????
We’ll be there on a Wednesday, and from what I’ve read on the forum, some say there’s absolutely nothing to do during the week—no floating market, barely any shops open, no restaurants, etc.
Others, though, say the place is actually more charming without the weekend crowds.
Could you share your thoughts? Missing the floating market is one thing, but if it’s really a ghost town on Wednesdays, I might just drop our bags somewhere else.
Amphawa seemed like a good first stop, just 1.5 hours from the airport, but I’d still like to settle somewhere a bit lively for our first evening.
We’ll be there at the end of October.

I didn’t plan to return to Thailand this year, but my health conditions mean it’ll be the best place for me to stay between two trips to India. The tourism setup there is so well-organized that it’s the most "comfortable" country for a short visit. Thailand feels too sanitized for my taste, and there’s too much religion, Buddha, and the King, but it’s still the best option given how my health has been evolving. I’d considered two weeks in ThaTon for hiking, but I got too sick from the burn-offs during my trips to the mountains around Chiang Rai. So I’m not sure where to go this year. Definitely not the sea, touristy spots, or the mountains with burn-offs...

After 1 night in Khao Sok, I’d like to find a 2 Days 1 Night package on the lake.
After reading a lot, I decided to "break the bank" and treat ourselves to a private tour—mainly to avoid the crowds.
But after contacting several operators, they offer "private tours" that are very expensive (around 700 €), yet in the details, the boats can only leave from the pier at 10 AM like everyone else. (I was hoping to leave much earlier.) The morning program is the same for everyone too (private or not). They drop us off at noon at our floating hotel (I’d chosen Phupha Waree). Free afternoon (swimming or kayaking in front of the hotel). We head back by boat for a 1-hour sunset ride. And the next morning, we leave the hotel at 8 AM to be at the pier by 9:30 AM at the latest—end of the trip.
So basically, we’re paying a lot for a private tour just to do the same thing as everyone else at the same time.
Or maybe I just had bad luck in my search.
I contacted Panida Ladi, who’s very popular on forums. We’d agreed on a private tour that matched my request (departure from the pier at 8 AM, very personalized itinerary). I'm planning to visit Cambodia this winter, right after Christmas, for my first solo trip and my first trip to Asia. For two weeks (yes, I know it's short, but I really can't do more...). I have two main desires: Siem Reap and the countryside, the villages, the Mekong...
What do you think of this itinerary? Arrival in Siem Reap, departure from Phnom Penh.
SR: 5 days (1 day for arrival, 3 for the temples, 1 for the lake and its villages)
Kratie (stop on the way to Mondolkiri): 3 days (1 day of travel, 2 days there)
Mondolkiri/Sen Monorom: 4 days (1 day of travel, 1 day there, 2 days of treks)
PP: 3 days (1 day of travel, 2 days of sightseeing)
I think I need to cut one day somewhere if I travel from Saturday to Saturday or Sunday to Sunday. In Kratie, maybe? Or in PP? And I'll miss the boat trip that everyone recommends (SR-Battambang), but I don't see where to fit it in. Unless I do a PP-PP loop starting in the east, skip Kratie or just stay one night, then SR, then PP.
In my timing, Mondolkiri seems closer than Ratanakiri, which also tempted me a lot! Will it be too complicated alone? I'm thinking of using local guides or a small local agency for a nature and village getaway.
I've read that Siem Reap is very crowded between Christmas and New Year's. I could also do the circuit in the opposite direction. But I thought it would be easier to get familiar with the country by arriving in a touristy area—I might be wrong...

We’re a family of four with two teens aged 16 and 18. We’re heading to Thailand this summer. We’ll arrive in Bangkok and plan to take a flight to Luang Prabang.
I’ve seen there are some great visits and excursions to do (temples, markets, waterfalls) and maybe even venture a bit north to places like Nong Khiaw, Muang Xay, Muang Ngoy, or Oudom Xay.
But I’ve also heard about the Bokeo region with the Gibbon Experience.
Since we won’t be able to do everything, I’d love to hear about your experiences, impressions, and advice on the two options I’m considering, especially since we’ll be meeting family in Chiang Mai, Thailand, afterward.
Option 1: A loop from Luang Prabang heading slightly north, then a flight from Luang Prabang to Chiang Mai.
Option 2: A few days in Luang Prabang, exploring within a few dozen kilometers around, then heading to Bokeo province for the 2-day/1-night Gibbon Experience. For this option, I saw on Rome2Rio that it’s possible to book a ferry trip on the Mekong from Luang Prabang to Huay Xay—they mention about 8 hours. But is that realistic? What type of boat is it?
Then, to get to Chiang Mai, there aren’t many options—bus or minivan—but how does crossing the border work?
Finally, for those of you who’ve been to Laos in August, what was the weather like?
We’ve already visited Thailand, Vietnam, and Cambodia during the same period over the past four years and weren’t really bothered by bad weather.

I’m now considering Thailand, a destination we never included in our plans because even 15 years ago, people said it was too touristy. Still, I’m thinking about the itinerary below, but I don’t feel up to arranging buses, trains, or guides on my own while I’m there. I’m looking for one or more drivers and have been in touch with an agency, but their offers are just copy-paste group tours that I don’t want.
