Seats for tall travelers on Air Austral

Hi there, I’m traveling soon on Air Austral in a 777-300 ER. I’m over 1.90 m tall and always have legroom issues on planes. Do you know if there are seats with extra legroom for "long legs"? There’s probably an extra fee. Thanks for your feedback! Have a great day

Hi there,

In economy class, you need to book an emergency exit seat in rows 23 (A B C J K L) and 38 (A B C J K L). No one in front, but you’ll have to check with the airline about the price or if it’s free—which I doubt.
Cordialement, Patrick.

Thanks Patrick for your reply. Actually, the emergency exit rows are the solution, but they’re paid options and already all taken. Oh well, I’ll just suffer for 11 hours with my knees jammed into the seat in front of me. Have a good evening.

hi, If SeatGuru is to be believed, row 10 offers a bit more legroom (but since I’ve never flown Air Austral, I can’t confirm what SeatGuru claims).

Hi Jean Yves,

SeatGuru hasn’t been updated in ages—several years now. We’ve gotta fall back on alternatives. This one seems to be popular.

Thanks Jean-Yves, It’s too late for today’s flight anyway. Have a great day in Quebec!

Thanks for the update, I’ll “change” my references 😛

Thanks for the link. I was wondering why I sometimes couldn’t find the plane listed for my flight! I might not have looked closely enough, but I don’t see an option on this site to select your flight to check the aircraft type or read seat reviews.

Over on this thread, they also suggest this other alternative, which seems to offer the same features as SeatGuru (aircraft type by flight + seat reviews).
