Hi, Air Cairo offers good prices on domestic flights and schedules that work for us, but is this airline reliable? Thanks in advance for your feedback.

Thanks! In the end, it’ll be Egypt Air—the price difference was small. Still surprised by the cost of these domestic flights.

Hi,

Any positive or negative surprises since I don’t know this destination?

Hello everyone, Given that this airline has layovers in southern Europe, it means it’s not on the blacklist—otherwise, it wouldn’t be allowed to operate flights to Europe. Now, when it comes to cabin crew, you can’t please everyone—some will be happy, others won’t. When we can, we go with Nile Air, often cheaper (depending on the season) and the cabin crew is impeccable and always smiling. Plus, it’s been an active airline since 2011, and their planes are, so to speak, brand new—latest generation B737s.

@Erjerome.

Surprised by the high prices for relatively short trips.

Hello everyone, what do you mean by high prices? Thoutmosis

In November, between 450 and 500 € for Cairo-Luxor and return Aswan-Cairo. I think it's a bit expensive, but I get that these flights are probably packed with tourists, which explains the prices!

Yeah, it’s really expensive. It might be because of your dates. If that’s the usual price and there are train connections, it’s worth checking those out.

Hello everyone, How many people? One, two, three??? Also, these are separate flights—I mean, not a round-trip between the same cities. They’re two different one-way flights, which can make a big difference. Plus, as I’ve mentioned before, "it depends on the time of year". November is the start of the "high season", so flights are in higher demand, meaning they fill up faster, and the remaining options are automatically more expensive. It’s the same for all airlines. Now, if you have the time, the cheapest option is the bus. Count on at least 10 hours to Luxor, with stops roughly every 2.5 hours. We often take GoBus—their website is super easy to use. Thoutmosis
