Le Bénin est considéré comme le Quatier Latin de l'Afrique.Ce qui veut dire que les enfants dont tu auras la responsabilité te faciliteront la tache pas leur intelligence.
Au Bénin, les parents donnent beaucoup d'importance à l'éducation des enfants.Et de génération en génération, cela n'a jamais changé. Moi je suis actuellement à Dakar, mais d'ici Aout, je serai deja à cotonou.

Maintenant que je sais que Tokpadome est un quartier de Cotonou, je pense que toutes les transactions que j'aurais à faire seront moins compliquées, encore merci.
De plus je me pose la question à savoir, comment faire pour ne pas être vu comme une touriste française mais comme une personne venant échanger des points de vus ainsi que des compétences?
Le moyen de paiment le plus facile à mon avis, c'est la liquidité.Mais dans certains magazins, il est possible que l'on paie par carte de crédit.Mais c'est une chose rare. Pour échanger de l'euro en FCFA, il y a par mal de Bureau de change pour cela.Le taux est 655.95 FCFA pour 1 EURO. C'est un taux qui ne va pas en dessous de 655. Il y a le marché noir, mais je vous conseille de l'éviter. Il faut mieux aller fait vos échanges dans une bureau accrédité ou dans une banque de la place.
Si vous avez des cartes de credits, vous pourvez les utiliser au Benin mais dans certains points.Il va faloir que vous ayez un peu de liquidité en Euros pour l'échanger à votre arrivée.Ceci est podssible à l'Aeroport meme.
Au bénin, on ne prend pas trop en compte ces détails sur le comportement d'une touriste française et celle de quelqu'une venant échanger des points de vus. C'est peut etre sur les sites touristiques et à l'aéroport que certaines personnes peuvent vous demander si vous ètes touriste. Certains curieux peuvent également vous poser la question.

J'avoue que c'est la première fois qu'on me demande si les habitants de cotonou vivent de la pèche.
Cotonou est la capitale Economique du Benin. Et elle est plus développée que Porto-Novo la capitale politique.
La majorité des ministères et la présidence se trouvennt à cotonou, de meme que certaines institutions, telles que la cour Suprème, cour constitutionnelle et j'en passe. Toutes les grandes surfaces et autres boutiques se trouvent à cotonou.
Vous comprendriez donc que les habitants de Cotonou ne peuvent pas vivre de la pèche avec toutes ces institutions. C'est vrai qu'il y a une partie des habitants de cotonou qui pratiquent la pèche.Ce sont ces personnes qui se sont installées les premières à cotonou.
J'ai déja entendu parlé de L'ong aide et solidarité, mais je ne connais pas exactement leur activité. Comme je rentrerai sur cotonou la semaine prochaine, je vais essayer de vous donner plus d'infos sur eux.
Comment se passera votre hébergement? Vous ont-ils réservé une chambre?

Merci pour la réponse, je vis sur une presqu'île (ports de pêche) et mon frère est pêcheur alors quand je lui dit que je vais à Cotonou, ses seules questions concernent la pêche(rien pour moi sniff😕).
Combien y a t il d'habitants à Cotonou?
Normalement, l'organisation a des chambres de réservées pour les personnes qui viennent en mission. Je dois verser une somme qui constitue le logement, le transport aller retour du lieu d'habitation au travail et la nourriture mais je ne sais quel budget je dois prévoir pour un mois en dehors de tous ce que je viens d'énumérer. Je suppose qu'il doit y avoir des musées....et pour le taxi.......exemple de tarifs?
La population de cotonou dépasse le million d'habitants. Il y a des musées et par mal de sites touristiques que tu pourras visiter lors de ton séjour. Tu pourras visiter aussi des villes telles que: Porto Novo (La capitale politique), Ouidah, Abomey, .....Il y a des musées et sites touristiques dans toutes ces villes. Tu peux pas exemple aller le matin et rentrer le soir, car ces des villes qui ne sont pas loin de Cotonou(30à 40 mn pour Porto-Novo et Ouidah, 1h20 pour Abomey)
Il y a des bus et des taxis brousses qui se rendrent la-bas toutes les minutes.
Pour le déplacement hors travail, tu auras aussi des taxis commun.Tu peux les loyer seule si tu veux. Mais c'est aussi bon de vivre cette expérience. Mais il y également des Taxis-Motos et des trilingues. En ce qui concerne les taxis motos, ce sont les plus rapides et les plus utilisés dans la ville de cotonou, meme dans certaines ville du Bénin. Cela ne coute vraiment pas.
Avec un minimum de 100000 F CFA, environ 150 Euros pour le loisir, ca peut aller, étant donné que tu auras du travail toute la semaine.Les loisirs seront en week end.

si tu as des questions, n'hésite pas, c'est aussi la première fois que je pars en humanitaire, par contre TOKPADOME est à côté de Ouidah et non COtonou!!!

Pour le moment ma préoccupation première est de ne rien oublier en essayant d'imaginer de quoi j'aurais besoin la bas car je n'ai pas d'info sur l'endroit ou je vais être logée.
Actullement, il faut un tout petit peu froid. Et il y aussi la plus qui s'annonce. Jusqu'en Decembre, il n'auras pas tellement de chaleur. Donc à ce niveau, poas de probleme. Par contre, il y a de moutisques actuellement. Alors, prépares toi à elles. Pour ce qui est de l'internet, le prix de la connexion dans les cyber café varient de 250 fCFA l'heure (soit 0, 38 Euro). Mais tout dépend de la zone.

Je suis en formation d'Educatrice spécialisée et j'ai pu voir que tu étais parti pour un stage. Je suis allée au Bénin il y a 4ans pour un voyage humanitaire et mon objectif est d' y retourner lorsque j'aurai obtenu mon diplôme. J'ai pu aller à la rencontre de l'ONG SOS village d'enfants à Natitingou (au Nord) et voir qu'il y avait un poste d'assistant du service social au sein de cette ONG. Il y a égalament un village d'enfants à Cotonou, je ne sais pas si tu as eu l'occasin de les rencontrer? Bref, je voulais savoir si il y avait des postes d'éduc sur place. Es tu accompagné par des professionnels là bas?Qu'est ce que tu y fais au juste? En tout cas Je t'envie beaucoup ! c'est un rêve de pouvoir allier ma future profession à ce pays que j'affecte tant. After living for many years in the West (Belgium, Italy, Switzerland),
I’ve decided to return and settle in Cameroon, my home country.
Currently an entrepreneur in real estate and transport, I’m looking for a partner / partners / foundation to collaborate on an agriculture project, as I own 10 hectares of land.
