Moi et un de mes collègues sommes infirmiers aux urgences. Nous sommes jeunes et sans attaches pour l'instant et aimerions beaucoup aller travailler en nouvelle calédonie, envie de décrouvir autre chose que ce que nous connaissons en France. Et pourquoi ce choix de la nouvelle C? parce qu'un collègue en a fait l'éxpérience et que ça nous a donné envie!
Donc évidemment, des tonnes de questions nous viennent à l'esprit!
Déja je sais que le billet d'avion est cher! Pour s'installer, avoir le temps de trouver du boulot, combien d'argent nous conseillez vous d'avoir? A quel période de l'année vaut il mieux arriver?
Est ce facile de trouver un logement? Et le travail? je sais qu'il y a 2 hôpitaux et 3 cliniques, où vaut-il mieux aller? je sais aussi qu'il y a des infirmeries de brousse.
Y'a t-il des papiers spéciaux a prévoir???

Pour vous aider un peu, vous pouvez aller sur le site de la DASS Nouvelle-Calédonie : dass.gouv.nc
Sur la gauche, il y a une colonne infos pratiques, qui vous amènera sur une nouvelle page où vous aurez, toujours à gauche, un bouton Aide à la recherche d'emploi.
Si vous voulez vivre l'expérience de la Calédonie profonde et des villages éloignés de Nouméa, je crois qu'on trouve des postes aux îles ou en brousse. Sinon, le CHT à Nouméa, ou clinique de la Baie des Citrons, ou clinique Magnin.

Autre info pour compléter ma réponse : le site immonc.com pour avoir une idée des tarifs de location sur et hors Nouméa. Sachant que les loyers ici sont chers, mais quand on s'éloigne un peu de Nouméa, c'est plus abordable.
Tu trouveras pas mal d'infos sur les anciens messages de ce site...je sais que j'ai bien bombardé de questions avant de partir en mai dernier...et j'ai eu de nombreuses réponses (merci encore aux membres de VF qui m'ont été d'une graaaaaaaaande aide !!).
Pour être tranquille et surtout pouvoir t'acheter une petite voiture (à mon avis essentielle pour la NC), je te conseille 5000euros, histoire d'assurer ton arrivée et qq semaines de vacances (qui pourrait y résister ??!!)...C'est ce avec quoi je suis arrivée...j'ai pu acheter une 106, 1 mois après je faisais un remplacement et 2 mois après j'étais engagée comme itinérante sur la province sud....Ceci dit, je ne pense pas que ce soit à chaque fois aussi rapide, je sais que beaucoup d'inf sont arrivés ces derniers temps...Pour ce qui est de la meilleure période pour arriver, c'est plus une question de climat que de boulot je pense...
Niveau paperasse, prends des extraits d'actes de naissance et de casier judiciaire...

Our departure time is getting closer (we have less than 2 years left—it’s both a long time and so short!). To start preparing seriously, we’ll need quite a bit of info. If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).
Are there any special requirements before leaving France (aside from taxes...)?

Actually, I’m currently doing a postgraduate diploma in pediatric respiratory physiotherapy and want to specialize in that area. Anyway, that’s not the main point—could anyone explain the pros and cons of doing this job in Switzerland? Based on the paperwork I’ve received, the equivalence seems purely administrative or almost... What about working conditions, quality of life, salaries, etc.?
