Bonjour, moi, c'est Hiel. Je pars prochainement en voyage avec mon homme et mes deux petits, 4 et 3 ans, pour un voyage sans limitation de durée, sans itinéraire programmé. Nous savons que nous allons commencer par le sud de l'Europe (Portugal, Espagne) pour ensuite aller vers l'Est mais rien n'est vraiment figé. Nous ferons en fonction de ce que nous aimons et avons envie de faire sur le moment.
Nous avons la chance de pouvoir travailler sur le web, il nous suffit de nos PC et d'une connexion internet satisfaisante.
Déjà, je voulais savoir si parmi vous, vous aviez déjà fait cela en famille tout en continuant le travail et avoir vos retours.
Côté contraintes, y a-t-il eu des déconvenues? Quels sont les points les plus difficiles? Ou a savoir en partant avec deux bambins? Avez-vous des préférences de sites locatifs qui ne vous ont jamais déçus : pour nous, un confort minimal (eau+chauffage ou clim en Asie) reste une priorité pour nos loulous et une connexion internet indispensable pour continuer notre travail.
J'aimerai avoir des retours aussi des familles qui ont eu des enfants en voyageant, comment le vivaient-ils? L'instruction à domicile a -t-il été difficile?

Nous l'avons fait à quelques reprises avec notre fille (longs séjours en Californie et au Mexique).
En ce qui concerne le logement, nous avons toujours privilégié le confort: chambres séparées, bureau, accès internet, piscine commune. Nous réservons habituellement sur des sites comme VRBO.com.
Les 5 premières années de vie notre fille, pas d'instruction (au Canada les enfants commencent l'école à 6 ans) donc la question ne se posait pas. Au Mexique par contre, elle avait 6 ans et on l'a envoyée dans une école locale mexicaine. Nous sommes deux parents universitaires, bilingues et instruits, mais nous n'avons aucune formation en pédagogie, de sorte que pour nous il a toujours été préférable que ça soit des gens formés pour enseigner à notre fille.
Parenthèse, j'ai un couple d'amis qui sont présentement en VR aux États-Unis/Mexique pendant 1 an, ils enseignent dans la roulotte à leur fils de 9 ans, mais ce n'est pas chose facile. Ils sont encore en train de se ''perfectionner'' à ce niveau, avec beaucoup d'essais et d'erreurs.
À 3 et 4 ans, vos enfants sont très jeunes et n'ont pas vraiment besoin d'instruction formelle il me semble, donc je ne serais pas inquiète à ce sujet!
Sinon, nous avons toujours aimé voyager avec notre fille, elle est curieuse et enthousiaste. Bien que le séjour au Mexique n'a pas toujours été facile pour elle à l'école, les enfants s'adaptent rapidement et quant qu'ils ont leurs parents près d'eux le reste importe peu.
