je suis infirmier et j'aimerai me rendre en guyane. J'ai eu des réponses positives pour l'Hôpital de Cayenne et de St Laurent. Mais ce qui me ferai plaisir c'est d'essayer de travailler en dispensaire pendant quelques mois. Si vous avez de l'expérience dans ce domaine ou des infos pour contacter des personnes se serai sympa. D'autre part je ne voit pas trop où m'installer à mon arrivé, on m'a parlé également de St Georges et de sa proximité avec le Brésil et d'expéditions médicales de 1 à 2 semaines par mois. On me conseille souvent St Laurent, est-ce une bonne ville? De plus, les guides de voyages concernant la Guyane sont quasi inexistant sauf le petit futé. Prends contact avec la DDASS pour travailler en dispensaire. Personnellememnt je te conseille ST-GEORGES, CAMOPI ou 3-SAUTS pour des remplacements. L'Est Guyanais est plus exotique....

Tout dépend de ce que tu recherches ! St Laurent est ville assez grande mais loin de Cayenne. Cayenne est au milieu entre St Georges et St Laurent, donc pratique pour bouger. Trois sauts, c'est sympa ( les indiens et la forêt) mais il faut savoir que tu ne peux y aller qu'en pirogue (long). Camopi est est à la limite de la zone interdite, tu peux rejoindre Cayenne par pirogue jusqu'à St Laurent puis le taxi, ou prendre un avion du club de Cayenne. Il y a aussi Maripasoula prés du Maroni. Une amie à moi a fait Maripasoula, Saül, et Trois sauts comme infirmière et ça lui beaucoup plu.
Donc tout depend de ce que tu veux vivres.

je suis interne, et j'ai passé un an en Guyane l'année derniere, moitie a Cayenne, moitie a St Laurent du Maroni (qui est une petite ville super sympa!!)
en ce qui concerne les Centres de Santé (dispensaires en brousse), ils dependent de l'hopital de Cayenne, donc il faudra passer par la direction des soins infirmiers la bas.
Souvent, ils demandent aux infirmiers de bosser un peu pour eux avant de les envoyer sur le fleuve (vu qu'ils manquent de monde..), enfin tu peux negocier.
J'ai un copain infirmier qui est la bas, si tu veux me donner ton adresse pour que je t'envoie son mail.
Concernant les guides de voyages, il n'y a effectivement que le petit futé qui n'est pas top, mais tu verras bien sur place ce qu'il y a a faire (plutot orienté balades en foret, pirogue sur le fleuve, canoe, plage...),
il y a un super guide de randos que tu trouveras sur place, et tu n'auras pas de mal a savoir ce qu'il y a de sympa a faire car la plupart des personnes la bas sont un peu dans le meme trip!

Salut Teckocean, je suis actuellement en contact avec la DSSI de l'H de Cayenne. Apparement il paye le billet pour une mission égale à min 6 mois(aller-retour?). Et suivant ton cursus tu peux faire du dispensaire. Je viens de lui en voyer un mail pour d'avantage de questions, tel que: salaire, billet aller/retour, logement, et si on peut faire poitié H et moitié dispensaire.
Voilà ou j'en suis pour le moment. Je vais m'acheter une carte géo de la Guyane cet aprem pour mieux situé les petits villages.

Merci à tout ceux qui ont participés à mes recherches pour ce départ en guyane, lili(attention à toi si tu es au Liban) je n'ai pas encore contacté ton père mais sa ne va pas tarder, je te remercie. Finalement je choisi donc la ville de St Laurent. En effet beaucoup de personnes me l'ont conseillé, sa à l'air d'être un village agréable. De plus d'un point de vue professionnel l'hôpital va bientôt prendre en charge les dispensaires situés sur le fleuve, ce qui était mon objectif principal. L'hôpital m'a proposé un contrat de six mois minimun début octobre renouvellable soit aux urgences ou médecine pour commencer, ce qui m'est profitable puisque je travaille dans le domaine de la psychiatrie depuis deux ans, je vais me refaire la main dans les soins. Et le petit plus pour ceux qui ne sont pas fortunés l'hôpital prends en charge le billet d'avion A/R sans que l'on avance les frais alors que les autres hôpitaux ne les avancent pas. En ce qui concerne les logements, il propose une résidence de trois mois le temps de s'organiser en plein centre et à 300 m de l'H pour un tarif de 520 euro/mois pour une personne sinon c'est plus cher.

After living for many years in the West (Belgium, Italy, Switzerland),
I’ve decided to return and settle in Cameroon, my home country.
Currently an entrepreneur in real estate and transport, I’m looking for a partner / partners / foundation to collaborate on an agriculture project, as I own 10 hectares of land.
