Pour les aspects pratiques, j'ai déjà fourni pas mal de renseignements dans des posts précédents.
Cela dit, si tu me communiques ton adresse email via un message privé, je te transmettrai un dossier sur l'installation à SGP dans lequel tu trouveras réponse à tout! Ces infos sont archi récentes: 7 mai 2007! Et s'il te manque des réponses, tu peux me demander, je serai ravie de t'aider!
Pour la qualité de vie, je crois que nous sommes plus d'un sur ce site à trouver la vie à SGP agréable, sachant qu'ici, géographiquement c'est vrai qu'on est en Asie, mais pour le reste, nous sommes dans un pur produit de la mondialisation! Et puis la localisation de SGP permet d'avoir accès facilement (géographiquement, pas forcément financièrement...) à de nombreux pays et cultures passionnants.

Alors moi j'ai envie de dire, si tu aimes les voyages, Singapour est une destination idéale ! Les possibilités d'escapades, même sur un WE, sont vraiment nombreuses et pas trop cher (grâce aux low costs) : Malaisie, Thailande, Indo, etc... A mon sens, c'est l'avantage n°1 de Singapour ! Tu peux aller voir sur mon blog, j'y raconte qq périples que j'ai fait dans les environs.
Ensuite, la qualité de vie est très agréable ici, pour peu évidemment que ton salaire te permette de vivre correctement. Comme tu le sais certainement, la ville est ultra clean, et ultra safe 🙂. On y mange bien, et pour pas cher (foodcourts et hawker). La vie nocturne est également très sympa.
Bref, si j'ai un conseil à te donner : vazy, fonce ! 😎

Vous avez bien raison de vous préoccuper de cela car les conditions matérielles sont de plus en plus difficiles sur SGP et vont le devenir conmpte tenu de la croissance économqie spectaculaire.

Je ne pense pas être très compétente pour te répondre.
La natalité n'est pas très élevée à SGP (1 à 2 enfants par foyer) mais la croissance démographique est liée à la fois aux citoyens singapouriens et aux étrangers (les familles malaises sont plus "fertiles"). Il y a ici un centre commercial entièrement dédié aux marques enfant de luxe (Forum). Je ne connais pas tout! Il faudrait faire une étude de marché pour mieux connaître l'état de ce marché bébé/enfant.
Sur le plan commercial, je te recommande vivement de t'adresser de ma part à la chambre de commerce française de SGP (French chamber of commerce of singapore), à Laurence Ricca ou Birgitta Cruanes (francophones toutes les 2).

Je suis médecin avec une formation de journalisme (médical), une expérience dans la pub (médicale) comme concepteur rédacteur puis directeur médical et maintenant je fais du conseil en maitrise de risques (médical)!
Et sans oublier un poste à temps plein auquel je tiens beaucoup: family manager (j'ai 4 enfants).
C'est ts interressant comme boulot, et e ant que family manager, où achetez vou ls vêtements pour vos enfants? à quel lieu pensez-vous en premier ?merci

Mes enfants sont grands maintenant...j'en ai 3 qui s'habillent au rayon homme et un seul petit dernier au rayon préado.
J'ai toujours privilégié les supermarchés ou grands magasins, c'est à dire les endroits où je peux faire d'un pierre 4 coups et pour un budget raisonnable!
A moi de m'immiscer...je suis parisienne et mon cheri (Anglais) pourait se voir proposer un poste a Singapour pour 2 ans .La decision pourrait dependre de moi... Nous avons deux fillettes (une de bientot 6 ans, rentrera en primaire en septembre et une de 14 mois). Les ecoles sont-elles payantes (anglaise ou francaise, en l'occurence) et comment sont gardes les tout petits? (je suis illustratrice et j'espere continuer a travailler par mail/courrier avec mes clients habituels en France) Quel fourchette de salaire peut nous offrir un style de vie confortable? (je ne parle pas de grand luxe, hein)
Par ailleurs, quelle qualite de vie offre Singapour? Est-ce tres pollue? (j'y suis allee quelques jours mais il y a plus de 15 ans deja) Je crois me souvenir que c'est aussi tres urbain (forcement), moi qui avais des envies de campagne et de jardin! ;) Enfin je serais bien du genre a freiner des deux pieds mais il y a si longtemps que mon homme veut bouger, meme si il esperait plutot Sydney, je ne me vois pas lui barrer la route indefiniment. J'ai toujours aime voyager, mais habiter ailleurs, ca serait le grand saut.
Meme si c'est encore tres flou, je me pose plein de questions...

suite à un séjour de quelques mois à Singapour pour mon travail, j'ai eu la malheureuse ou heureuse idée d'avoir une petite amie là bas maintenant.
Aujourd'hui en France, et à moitié dépressif 🤪, j'envisage d'y retourner pour une année et retrouver ma promise. Cependant, cela me semble difficile voir impossible de trouver un travail et d'y résider.

If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).
