je suis un jeune infirmier, j'ai 23 ans et je souhaite venir travailler à Cayenne pour une periode de 6 mois minimum. J'ai postulé sur de nombreux poste comme à la clinique saint Paul qui serait susceptible de me prendre.
Je prévoit donc mon départ pour fin décembre 2012/début Janvier 2013 en solitaire.
Je lit énormément de choses sur la vie a Cayenne et j'observe que les avis divergent sur la sécurité, le racisme, le cout de la vie, le logement. J'ai réussit tout de même a faire le tri et a me faire un avis, et j'ai à présent hate de découvrir cette region.
Néanmoins j'ai quelque question sur mes recherches pour un logement, quels sont les quartiers intéressant et vivant a me conseiller pour trouver une collocation ? et quels sont les quartier a éviter ?
L'intégration auprès de la population se fait elle facilement ? je suis d'un naturel avenant et sociable, je n'est généralement pas de difficulté pour m'intégrer.
le fait d'être un jeune diplomé peut il être un frein a l'embauche a Cayenne ?
Si certains ont vécu une experience similaire je serai ravi d'avoir des conseils et/ou des bons plans pour éviter les coups durs.😉

Je me permet de répondre à ton post bien que je ne pense pas pouvoir beaucoup t'aider. Il se trouve que je me trouve exactement dans le même cas que toi. Je suis infirmier depuis 6 ans sur paris et j'ai très envi de changer d'air. Etant en dispo de l'ap-hp et faisant depuis deux ans de l'intérim je suis libre de toute attaches et je peux donc me rendre en Guyane assez rapidement (décembre). Comme j 'ai vu que tu étais interresses pour faire de la colocation ont peut éventuellement s'échanger nos mail.
Qu'els sont tes plans? Trouvé un poste une fois sur place ou bien partir avec un poste déja acqui la bas?
Toutes les questions que tu poses dans ton poste m'interresse également, donc si quelqu'un à des infos à nous donner... 😉

Pour l'instant je postule sur les poste que je peut trouver par internet mais il me parait plus simple de postuler a un poste une fois sur place, après il y a des agences d'interim qui font des contrat de 6 mois avec le CH de cayenne, donc y'a pas mal de possibilité. Pour l'instant je "tatte" le terrain, mais cela ne me derange pas de partir et de chercher sur place, sa fait une affaire de plus a s'occuper...

Actuellement je ne suis plus en Guyane mais j'y ai travaillé pendant 9 mois en chirurgie a l'hopital de St Laurent du Maroni (a la frontiere du Surinam, et c'est super, plein de gens différents, )
Et la Guyane est en gros manque d'infirmiers!!! Pas de probléme pour les nouveaux diplomés (comme moi), c'est parfois un peu dur au début mais c'est hyper formateur. je pense que j'ai plus appris la-bas en quelques mois qu'ailleurs en plusieurs années, du moins en tant que réflexion de travail car parfois tout est a organiser et on apprend a prendre toutes les initiatives nécessaires.
Je me suis juste pointée avec CV et lettre de motivation et j'ai commencé le lendemain.
je crois que même en faisant comme ça on peut se faire rembourser le billet d'avion si on reste un an.
si tu es attentif et respectueux (evidemment) pas de probleme d'integration il ne faut pas hesiter a aller voir les gens et a leurs poser des questions. sinon c'est comme partout il faut un peu de temps pour se faire a la nouvelle ambiance et aux nouveaux caracteres.
Je ne connais pas énormement Cayenne mais il y a des gens sympas partout.
pour trouver un colocation ou un logement essaye blada.fr ou 97320.fr (pour St Laurent). a voir aussi sur place et tu peux attaquer par du Couchsurfing (les hotel sont chers a Cayenne et il n'y a pas de carbet-hamac).

le quartier de la Crique de l'autre côté du canal de Laussat...mais d'après France Guyane il va être réhabilité

la population en Guyane est très hétérogène, il y a des brésiliens, des métros , des créoles...
