Nous partons 35 jours pour un trip Cambodge > Vietnam > Laos. Nous partons avec China Eastern. Nous avons un billet aller Paris Cambodge et un billet retour Laos Paris.
J'ai attentivement lu toutes les discussions concernant les visas pour tous ces pays.
Cependant, j'aimerai avoir une confirmation car, dans notre cas, nous avons des billets aller et retour qui ont des points de départ différents.
Du coup, la seule question qu'on se pose est :
- Est-ce que pour ce genre de vol (aller dans un pays et retour dans un autre), nous pouvons avoir un soucis concernant l'apport d'une preuve de sortie du territoire Cambodgien ?
Car nous comptons ne prendre qu'un VISA de 30 jours pour le Cambodge, idem pour le Vietnam et le Laos.
Donc si j'ai bien compris, pour le Vietnam, on peut le faire à l'avance ou en ambassade au Cambodge. Et lorsqu'on rentrera dans le territoire Vietnamien, on n'aura pas besoin de fournir de preuve de sortie même si on reste plus de 30 jours. Idem pour le Laos, sauf qu'on peut faire le visa à la frontière.
Par contre, pour le Cambodge, j'ai peur qu'on nous demande une preuve de sortie du territoire vu que notre billet retour est 30 jours après. Est-ce le cas même si c'est du Laos qu'on repart ?
Si j'ai bien compris votre trip vous arrivez au cambodge puis Cambodge-vietnam-laos par voie terrestre c'est bien ça?

En ce qui concerne les "autorités locales" là, je me fais moins de soucis et je vous explique pourquoi:
Vous avez un billet multi-villes avec retour sous 35 jours...
Quand vous arrivez au Cambodge, vous passez d'abord au guichet "Visa" et vous payez... par après vous passez devant l'agent d'immigration qui probablement vous prendra vos empreintes digitales et éventuellement vous posera la ou les questions "combien de temps vous resterez? Où logerez--vous et peut-être Pouvez-vous me montrer votre billet d'avion" ?
Là vous montrerez votre billet d'avion en expliquant votre itinéraire par voie terrestre... à mon humble avis, votre réponse lui semblera satisfaisante et vous fera entrer au Cambodge...
En ce qui concerne le viet-nam, votre séjour sera inférieur à 30 jours, et par conséquent vous avez une preuve de sortie du territoire, vu que vous devez prendre un vol retour pour la France dans moins des 30 jours... bien sûr, il faudra dûment justifier qu'aux alentours de telle date vous iriez au Laos...
L'entrée au Laos pareil... vous avez la preuve d'une sortie du territoire en moins de 30 jours... Donc visa accordé sans problèmes...
Au pire, si vous pensez que China Eastern puisse vous poser un problème ou bien même, que ma réponse au sujet de l'immigration Cambodgienne vous semble "risquée", vous avez la possibilité de contacter une agence "cambodgienne" pour vous organiser un transfert d'un lieu que vous choisirez au Cambodge jusqu'à la frontière Khmer-Vietnamienne...
Un courriel de confirmation de ladite agence de voyage comportant, vos noms et prénoms, la date du voyage et avec quel type de véhicule devrait suffire comme preuve de continuation pour les autorités cambodgiennes ainsi que pour China Eastern.

Pour passer d'un pays à un autre vous passez obligatoirement par l'immigration: quand vous entrez vérifiez bien qu'on vous met un coup de tampon "arriving" et la date et quand vous sortez "departure" et la date avec coup de tampon ! Comme cela pas de problème. Mais ne vous risquez pas à rester plus de jours que ceux marqués sur votre visa!

OUI - NON ?OUI = il peut avoir un visa TR60 tourisme à 60 jours ou un visa spécifique à 90 jours par exemple... dans ce cas, je contrôle s'il y a bien un visa...NON = il n'a aucun visa ...En cas de NON, peut-il me prouver la sortie du territoire sous 30 jours avec un autre billet d'avion? OUI - NONen cas de OUI, comme par exemple un billet Bangkok-Phnom penh le 29ème jour... je le laisse embarquer..... en cas de NON ... je ne prends pas le risque et il n'embarque pas sur le vol...Etes-vous toujours convaincue qu'il n'y a toujours pas d'inquiétudes à se faire si l'employée de china eastern suit scrupuleusement à la lettre le protocole? 🤪

Petite anecdote lue sur ce forum: un VFiste se présente à un poste frontière entre la Malaisie et la Thailande par voie terrestre pour entrer en Thailande... L'officier Thailandais lui demande "Avez-vous une preuve de sortie?" lui: non ... "pouvez-vous prouver que vous disposez de 20'000 baht pour votre séjour?" lui: "j'ai ma carte de crédit au cas où, mais pas cette somme en cash sur moi!"... réponse de l'officier: "vous ne pouvez pas entrer, allez vous faire faire un visa a Kuala Lumpur et prenez l'avion pour Bangkok!"...
(pourquoi par avion et pas simplement se représenter avec le visa au même poste frontière?? Malheureusement on le saura jamais, mais son témoignage me restera toujours en mémoire puisque c'était la première fois que j'entendais sur ce forum qu'une personne s'était fait contrôler s'il avait un billet de continuation pour entrer en Thailande par voie terrestre... L'an dernier, je suis rentré au Laos (via VN Airlines), traversé la frontière vers le Cambodge à pied (après avoir respecté les coutumes locales), puis rentré au VN en bateau, reparti vers la France (via VN Airlines). En moins de 30 jours.
J'avais pris un visa 60 jours pour les 3 pays.
Aucun fonctionnaire ne s'est intéressé à mon billet d'avion.
Une expérience: le confort et le service VN Airlines sur les lignes internationales! Après on cherche une autre solution.

Il faudrait être plus clair et détailler votre voyage jusqu'au retour en France.
Si vous vous présentez au comptoir d'enregistrement avec un billet one way CDG / BKK vous ne pourrez pas embarquer. Il vous faudra prouver votre sortie du territoire Thai et pour cela acheter un vol le moins cher possible à destination d'un pays limitrophe, par exemple Pucket / Kuala Lumpur avec Air Asia +/- 30 €

Bonjour Sergio, merci pour ta réponse et ca correspond effectivement aux différentes informations que j'ai pu trouver. En fait certains sites indiquent qu'il faut juste un passeport pour avoir le visa de moins de 30 jours mais en fait pour l'embarquement il semble bien qu'il faille une preuve de sortie du pays; en suite certaines personnes indiquent avoir pris l'avion plusieurs fois pour bangkok sans billet retour de moins de 30 jours et n'avoir pas eu de problème lors de l'embarquement.
J'hésite donc à prendre un billet pour Kuala Lumpur ou pour Siem Reap quitte à ne pas l'utiliser. je vais au Cambodge après Bangkok mais j'avais prévu d'y aller par voie terrestre et surtout de ne pas prendre mon billet à l'avance pour être libre de la date et faire au jour le jour....
1.Tu appelles le siège de la compagnie aérienne et/ou leur bureau à CDG.
2.Tu appelles (où tu te déplaces) le service des visas de l'ambassade.

Ils ne font pas n'importe quoi et ne décident pas qui va voler ou non selon leur bon vouloir ou leur humeur.

En janvier 2017 j'ai effectué un AxR CDG / BKK avec Qatar pour un séjour de 6 semaines. Je n'avais pas de visa. Par mesure de précaution j'avais acheté un billet Pucket / Kuala pour un départ avant l'expiration de l'expiration de l'exemption de visa de 30 jours. Il ne m'a rien été demandé au comptoir de Qatar et pas plus à l'immigration à BKK.
Je précise bien que j'avais un retour de BKK ce qui ne semble pas etre ton cas.

I’m planning a trip from France to Alberta/British Columbia, and I’m unsure about which bank card to use for the security deposit with the rental company (I’m thinking of going with AVIS).
I contacted Avis Canada, and they told me a credit card is absolutely required. I asked my bank for a credit card (a *real* credit card), but they only offered me a deferred debit card.
My question: For a rental with Avis Canada, is a Gold International Mastercard deferred debit card usable for the security deposit needed to finalize the rental? Is the "CREDIT" label enough? (Some cards say "CREDIT" and others say "CARTE DE CREDIT"—seems minor, but it’s actually a big deal in how the card works.)
I’ve seen conflicting info everywhere I look... My bank says it’s *usually* okay (the deferred debit card), while Avis Canada insists it *must* be a credit card, not debit—even when I mention the deferred debit card.
I know the whole credit card concept is already confusing, and on top of that, some sites say a deferred debit card counts as a credit card, while others say it doesn’t.

I’ll explain my situation.
Unfortunately, I lost my passport, and I only realized it two weeks before my departure for a humanitarian mission in Libya. I’m a nurse, and this mission really means a lot to me.
First, I applied for an emergency passport, but it was denied by the Val-d'Oise prefecture on the grounds that a planned humanitarian mission wasn’t considered an urgent reason.
So, I submitted a biometric passport application on July 20th. Since then, the tracking has been stuck, and the town hall can’t (or won’t) give me any clear information. Every time I call, I get a different story. The last update I received was that the passport had been produced since July 23rd with a status of "about to be shipped," but nothing since then.
I’ve managed to push my departure back to next Tuesday at the latest, but I’m starting to really panic.
Have any of you submitted an application around July 20th, especially in Val-d'Oise (95)? How long did you wait between the passport being produced and it being available at the town hall? Is it normal for this step to take this long?
This mission means so much to me. I had everything organized, and I’m also supposed to attend a friend’s wedding right after near the border.

I’m a bit embarrassed because I need to travel to Quebec from February 27th to March 13th. I’m a regular visitor to Canada—this will be my 10th trip since 1997, plus a year as a permanent resident (2000–2001) and a cross-country run from Vancouver to Halifax in 2011. So, I’m definitely not a terrorist!
But since our last trip in July 2015, they’ve introduced this eTA thing. Seems more like a way to make money than to actually secure Canada, if you ask me, but anyway, that’s not the point.
I applied for an eTA for myself, my wife, and our two kids. They all got approved within hours, but not me! I was asked to create a GC key and then an IRCC account, which I did. Normally, you get news within 72 hours, but since Monday, January 15th, nothing!
In the "message" section of the account, it says "explanation letter (required)" with a deadline of January 25th, but I can’t find any explanation anywhere—despite searching the Canadian government website and Google. No links, nothing!
I’ve emailed them but haven’t heard back yet. I’m thinking of calling the Canadian embassy in Paris tomorrow. Even though I’m not stressing yet, it’d be a bummer if everyone else got to go without me!
If anyone’s had this issue before or knows what this explanation letter is about, I’d love to hear more.

I bought a one-way flight (Ryanair) and a return flight (EasyJet) to spend a week in Morocco in April.
My passport expires 3 weeks after the return date.
Some websites say the passport must be valid for 3 months at the time of entry.
However, it will still be valid both on entry and return, but its validity will only be 1 month at the time of entry (and 3 weeks on the return date, everything prepaid).
It's an individual family trip.
The consulate can't give me an answer—they're still looking into it (really!)
Last year, we stayed for 3 months in Thailand, north of Khao Lak, and were able to benefit from the 2-month visa exemption, renewable for one month by going to Takua Pa to validate a 1-month extension (1,900 baht).
This year, it’s a disaster for us—not only were we planning a 4-month stay, adding a visa run in between (which some say is quite risky), but the law is apparently changing in the coming months with the return of the 1-month exemption (plus the usual 1-month option). So, we looked into applying for a 6-month multiple-entry visa, allowing a maximum of 60 consecutive days in Thailand. However, I can’t find anywhere the minimum time required outside Thailand between two stays—do any of you have an idea?

As a French national, I need to obtain a short-stay visa that can be converted to a long-stay one. To do this, I have to send the required documents to the Madagascar embassy in Paris.
No issues with that procedure so far.
If I get this visa, once I arrive in Madagascar, I’ll need to provide the same documents to the Ministry of the Interior in Anosy. I’m trying to find an email address or website for the Ministry to check which documents I need to submit (I think they ask for additional ones).

I’d like to know if anyone has already applied for a private visa to Russia with an invitation from a Russian resident.
I traveled earlier this year with an e-visa, but since I want to stay longer, I’ll be visiting my friend who lives in eastern Russia.
For the visa application, does the invitation need to be on an official paper form issued by the Russian ministry? And most importantly, do I need to present the original for the application, or is there an electronic version that can be sent directly to the consulate in France?

I filled out the B2 form to apply for a visa, created an account on Atvis to pay the visa fees and schedule a meet-up, but every time I try to pay with my Boursobank Visa 1st card, they refuse the payment with a message telling me to check my details (address), even though everything is correct. Does anyone know why this is happening, or maybe they don’t accept Visa cards? Are you aware of this?

My wife and I are heading to the US.
On her ticket, it only has her maiden name (e.g., Martine DUPOND).
On her passport, it’s written as Martine DUPOND épouse AVRY.
No issues for travel, I hope I did the right thing with the ticket?
Then for the ESTA, is just Martine DUPOND enough, or do I need to include the "épouse AVRY" part like on the passport?
