Hi everyone, we’re thinking of spending the last week of March in Madeira. What do you think? Is the weather nice? Isn’t it too cloudy? Are there already flowers? We’re mainly going to explore the island and do some hikes. We don’t plan on swimming. Thanks for your suggestions!!
Hi there!!
I just got back from a week in Madeira—I landed last Saturday!! The weather was amazing, between 17 and 22 degrees, so in March you’ll probably have even better conditions. It’s a gorgeous island, lush and colorful... Funchal is relaxing yet lively—take the cable car to visit the tropical garden!! The village of Ponta do Sol is lovely—climb up to the little chapel for a great view! Don’t miss Cabo Girão. If you love hiking, do the Pico do Ruivo viewpoint and the Ponta de São Lourenço trail—both are incredible!! In short, it was a fantastic discovery! Christophe
