J'en reviens pas, je suis aux anges MAIS comme avec moi partent aussi mes deux enfants en bas age je demande votre aide pour savoir comment on vie las bas, comment est le lycée français pour les petits, quels sont les meilleurs cartiers, la vie sociale, les hôpitaux etc. Malhereusement je n'ai jamais été en RD (même pas en vacance) et je m'inquiete en peu pour les petits loulous.

Je travaille dans une boîte française et tu as de la chance d'avoir une offre comme celui-là. Les expats sont des vrais rois ici: voiture, logement, lycée des petits, ...tout payé😇😇😇.
C'est la vie des rois en RD si tu vas être payée en EUR ou USD et en plus, tu auras le logement inclus. Ton entreprise va te payer le lycée des enfants aussi?

merci de ta reponse. Le lycée français sera en effet payé par l'employeur (pas la voiture mais on va pas se plaindre quand même). Je crois comprendre que ma boite me propose une maison à Bella Vista puisqu'il m'ont dit que c'est plus proche au lycée français. Combien de temps il me faudra pour les conduire le matin? J'ai lu que la circulation est inférnale. Et les hopitaux? Est-ce que il y en a qui propose une prise en charge de niveaux presque européen? Et la malaria/dengue? Est-ce que il y en a dans la capitale?
Pour le lycée français mes enfants seront en CM des maternelles et CP primaires. En venant de Belgique (même si nous on est pas francophones à la base) il n'auront pas de problèmes mais je sais que par exemple en France les enfants entrent en CP sachant dejà ecrire en coursif tandis qu'en Belgique on leur apprends à écrire seulement en majuscule. Et leur horaires? Je suppose pas de garderie à l'école et donc comment s'organise-t-on?
Tu verras des expat' sur St Domingue, j'ai lu qu'il n'y avait que 2500 français recensés là bas dont une communauté importante sur Las Terrenas où jai la chance d'y aller dans 30 jours
Alalaaaaa.....tu vas habiter à Bella Vista? Bon, je vais commencer à annoncer qu'une nouvelle reine sera couronner à Santo Domingo dans les prochains jours😛. Je te confirme que Bella Vista est super bien comme quartier. En plus, tu seras dans le coin dans une maison, donc pas mal du tout. Ce n'est pas tout le monde en RD qui peut habiter une maison à Bella Vista😉.
Je te confirme aussi que nous conduissons en peu mal ici, donc c'est vrai. La circulation est inférnale mais pas inférnale à l'extrême de tout😮😮😮. Je pense qu'avec quelques jours au volant, tu t'habitueras. Je crois que le trajet de Bella Vista jusqu'au Lycée Français se fait en 10 ou 15 minutes maximum avec un peu de traffic sur les rues. Bella Vista est bien près du quartier où se situe le Lycée Français. Il faut juste descendre juste quelques mètres de l'avenue Churchill et tu es là.
Il faut que tu commences à distinguer ce qui est un hôpital et une clinique. Les hôpitaux en RD sont publiques donc supporter pas l'état. Là je ne te conseillerais pas d'amener les petits ou toi même en cas d'urgence. Le service n'est pas très au top🤪🤪🤪. D'un autre côté, tu as les cliniques qui sont tous privées donc leurs services (de certains cliniques pas toutes) sont tous garantis et de très haut qualité. Comme les hôpitaux que vous avez en Belgique.
La malaria ou le dengue peuvent exister juste dans les quartiers pauvres du pays mais quand il y en a, ça s'annonce dans tous les journaux. Actuellement, nous n'avons aucune manifestations de ces épidémies dont tu parles.
Je comprends rien du système scolaire européenne. Désolé amiga mais là je ne peux pas t'aider avec les CP et CM dont tu parles. Normalement l'horaire scolaire commence à 8h jusqu'à 13h mais certains lycée ou écoles le prolonge jusqu'au 13h. Il faudrait confirmer si c'est le cas pour le lycée français.
J'ai une enorme chance et je m'en rends compte, vous inquietez pas.
Mais je sais aussi que n'est pas or tout ce qui brille et donc que même un pays magnifique come la RD pourrait poser des problemes quand on y vit et sourtout quand on y vit avec des enfants.

RARES sont les etrangers qui trouvent un emploi en RD a partir de l'etranger...
Il faut etre sur place, et se faire un bon cercle social adapte qui saura vous trouvez un emploi avec un salaire "qui a de l'allure"!
Les maisons fournies a Bella Vista, c'est comme dans le TRES rare! 😉 J'en suis envieuse 😛 je ne dirais pas non a une experience de 3 ans dans de telles conditions. Pour la majorite des etrangers, ca semblent etre des maisons ou les problemes d'electricite et acces a l'eau courante demandent une debrouillardise a la dominicaine! 😇

Quelle chance tu as de partir en République Dominicaine. J'y ai vécu et travaillé pendant 4 ans et demi de 1990 à 1994. Ma fille Alexandrine y est née. Nous sommes tellement tombé amoureux du pays que j'y ai acheté un petit terrain et fait construire une maison de vacances. Depuis nous y retournons une ou deux fois par an. Bien sûr depuis j'ai vu le pays évoluer beaucoup, pas seulement en bien.
Les Dominicains sont des gens accueillants et très sympathiques. Ils sont serviables. Bien sûr, ils vont essayer de t'arnaquer mais cela se fait avec le sourire, ce n'est jamais ni violent ni méchant.
Il faut que tu saches qu'ils sont très bruyants : musique, coup de klaxon, a toutes heures du jour et de la nuit. On s'y fait. Il faut que tu prennes les choses cool et que tu profites de ce climat extraordinaire, ni trop chaud ni trop froid (20 à 32°), une saison des pluies qui n'est pas trop gênante, la mer qui est toujours présente et tellement agréable. Par contre, il n'y a pas de plage à Saint-Domingue. La première est à Boca Chica, environ 30 kms à l'est.
Il n'y a aucun problème d'approvisionnement. Tu trouveras tous les produits que tu veux. Il y a même un Carrefour à Saint-Domingue avec des produits français. La vie y est assez chère car pratiquement tout est importé. Les produits fabriqués localement sont en général d'assez mauvaise qualité.
A toi le merengué, la bachata, le Cuba Libre.
😉Ce ne sera pas mal, parce que la vie est moins cher que la belgique. Tu pourras en trouver quelqu'un pour s'occupper des enfants a bon marche. Je m'appelle Margarette et je vis aux Etat-Unis. Je viens de prendre ma retraite, et je compte aller vivre a saint domingue avec ma petite fille qui a six ans pour cette anne scolaire. Je compte l'inscrire au lycee de St Domingue. Il faut trouver une maison dans un bon endroit, il ya Arroyo Hondo, Alameida et tant d'autre. Cela depend ausi, si tu auras besoin d'une maison ou d'un apartement. Si tu auras besoin d'un agent pour t'aider, je peux te faire avoir le numero de l'homme qui est en train de m'aider.
