Terminant mes études d'ostéopathie, j'envisage d'aller vivre dans les DOM et plus particulièrement en Guyane mais avant de partir j'aurai voulu avoir quelques info sur les possiblités d'une telle activité en Guyane et les conditions de vie...
Donc si quelqu'un sait combien il y a d'ostéo (et quelles sont leurs coordonnées) et si cette discipline est aussi demandées qu'en métropole je suis preneur !!!!
J'aimerais aussi savoir si c'est facile de se loger et où il vaut mieux habiter (j'hésite entre Kourou, Cayenne et Matoury), je pense que le plus intéressant pour moi serait d'aller là où il y a le plus de métro car je pense que se seront les 1er intéressés par un ostéo mais je ne sais pas dans quelle ville ils sont plus nombreux.

ça me rassure un peu de savoir qu'il y a autant d'attente pour un ostéo en Guyane, ça veut dire que le marché n'est pas aussi saturé qu'en France !!!
Perso je penche plus pour une installation sur Kourou, il paraît qu'il n'y a qu'un osté là-bas, lui aussi débordé...

Perso. j'ai voulu prendre un rendez-vous avec l'un d'entre eux et je n'y arrive pas. J'imagine que monsieur doit être débordé et comme moi aussi. Tu comprends les siestes dans le hamac étant sacrées, ça laisse peu de temps pour faire autre chose...

Effectivement il y a l'air d'y avoir beaucoup à faire ici, tout du moins en ostéo, parce que je répond souvent à des annonces de location ou coloc sur Blada et on me demande souvent quand je m'installe pour prendre rdv...
De toute façon ma décision est prise maintenant, quelques soient mes impressions quand je viendrai en Guyane la semaine prochaine, JE M'INSTALLE A KOUROU !!!!!!!!

PS : si tu cherches un ostéo et que tu es prête à rouler un peu, il y en a un qui s'installe cet été à Kourou et qui forcément ne sera pas débordé de patients au début et donc où tu pourra avoir un rdv rapidement... 😉 lol

J'ai vécu en Guyane pdt 2 et demi.
Mes parents y vivent encore.
Je pense que si tu veux vivre en guyane il va falloir t'accrocher car faire une activité comme la tienne, il faut vraiment un bon coup de pub et surtout que les prestations ne sont pas remboursées, tu vas avoir du mal à avoir des clients....
Pour ce qui du milieu de vie, va à Kourou ou Matoury, mais à là ou tu pourrai avoir plus de clients c'st Cayenne, la journée tout le monde y est même ceux de Kourou.
Sache aussi que dans une 30taine d'années tous caux qui habitent kourou, auront une maladie à cause des dépots de poussières de fusée et autre... C'a été prouvé scientifiquement.
De plus là vie la bas est plus ou moins sauvage, il te faut faire le vaccin de la fièvre jaune... En Période de Juillet jusqu'à septembre essaie de ne pas bruler de feuille mortes mais plutot les jetées dans une poubelle pour éviter d'attirer la mouche qui transmet la lèchemaniose.
Voilà si tu as d'autres questions n'hésite surtout pas.
Sinon la Guyane est un pays parfois désert mais tellement beau (c'est pas ironique). Il y a plein de chose à visiter.
Surtout je ne veux pas que tu penses que là Guyane est un pays à problème parce que c'est vraiment un pays magnifique avec tout plein de ressources. Je te mets juste face à la réalité... Souvent les gens ne le font pas et partent et sont souvent déçu faisant une mauvaise réputation à la Guyane en revenant en France ou autre.
Alors je tiens à le dire, pour ne pas m'attirer des foudres, j'adore la guyane alors me tomber pas dessus 😎
