Voilà, il y a de très fortes chances que je commence un nouveau job d'ici à la mi-juillet. Je ne connais l'île que de par les qqes jours que j'y ai passés pour l'entretien.
Que pourriez-vous me dire de Malte ? Vos impressions, les habitants, la vie, les loisirs, culture, bouffe, les points +++, les points --.
Quel âge avec vous ? Combien de temps vous y êtes restés ? Ou depuis combien de temps y êtes vous ?
Y a-t-il des "rassemblements" entre frenchies ???? ;)
Il s'agit d'un emploi à durée indéterminée, plutôt très intéressant et bien payé. Mais comme je ne connais pas vraiment Malte, je me demandais, de par son contexte petit "îlot" s'il était envisagable d'y rester plus de 6 mois quoi sans perdre la boule ;)
apres vu que tu es jeune tu n auras pas de pb à te faire des amis il y a pas mal de boites et de bars sympa
vers st julian et pace ville.
cote bouffe tu trouves des trucs pas tres chers et typiques en allant des les " cercles" tu en trouves a la valette
le niveau de vie est identique au notre( c est legerement moins cher)
magasins et fringues: tu trouves des choses sympa " oui oui pour les jeunes"😛
en ete les maltais sont tres festifs chaque villes a sa fete

Tu sais, j'ai 29 ans... donc, faire la fête, oui, of course, mais en profiter de façon plus "cool", ça m'intéresse aussi... !!!
En fait, j'ai peur de tomber sur une île où, à par les boîtes de nuit, il n'y aurait rien à faire de plus ! Parce qu'en période de vacances, c'est tr��s sympa mais à l'année... ;)
Moi ça fait 3 ans que j'y suis et je m'y plait... Je pense que tu te feras ta propre expériences et tes propres jugements sur la population et l'Ile..
Pour les gros point, les maltais sont tres accueillants et helpufull si tu as besoin d'eux.
La gastronomie, il faut que tu goute sur Gozo, à Mdina dans le restaurant Ta Ricardu, le platers de gozo cheese et tomate + fresh cheese, sinon à malte a part la pastizzi le reste est du déjà vu italien.
La vie est à la cool rien à voir avec la France, l'été c'est paradisiaque et très agréable.. l'hiver c'est une tout autre histoire!
Les loisirs, tu as un large choix, à commencer avec Paceville (st Julians) où il y a tous les night club et pub , Valetta Water front, un peu moins bondé de jeunes et moins touristiques aussi avec restaurants et pub, St julians et sliema ont pas mal de pub.
Apres tu peux visiter les îles (Malte et Gozo), faire de la plongée (avec masque et tuba ou bouteille), tu peux faire de la marche autour de l'île et dans l'île (malta challenge), il y a de l'équitation à Golden bay, le bowling et cinéma comme partout... il est possible mais avec un budget plus élevé de faire le tour de l'île en avion (grace aux jeunes pilotes qui doivent faire leur heures) et de l'escalade. Avec ça tu peux être occupée pour facilement 1 an!!!
La culture est basée sur la "religion", bien que la population la pratique du manière différente de ce qu'on peut attendre.. mais je te laisse découvrir cela. Il y a plein de jours férié à l'année et des commémorations chrétiennes à voir et ne pas manquer.
Les rassemblements entre "frenchies", il y en a, mais rien de déclaré.. Juste des collègues entre eux qui se rassemble.. Si ça t'intéresse je te les présenterais.
Je te cache pas, que tu vas vite te sentir "prisonnière" icim et tu vas chercher à partir.. Prends un grand bol d'énergie cet été si tu dois rester cet hiver. Dis toi que l'hiver ne dure pas si longtemps et que c'est juste une mauvaise période à passer avant de retouver soleil et chaleur.
En fait, je dois arriver le 17 ou 18 juillet pour commencer le 20. Donc pas de vacances en perspective avant de commencer ;)
Ce qui m'effraie un peu, je l'avoue ;), c'est que je serai la seule à parler français dans le boîte et je me demandais si les francophones se réunissaient de temps à autre ;)
Pour ce qui est du salaire, on me propose 2400e bruts par mois. C'est bien je crois, non ? Après, au niveau des taxes... j'y connais rien !?? Tu comprends donc, c'est un peu la panique, là ;))))
Je suis Juliano et je pense de faire un cours d'angais à Malte.

j'ai rien contre eux mais l'allemand et la langue qui m'interesse le moins
et l'allemand est assez reservé

et ou je peux pratiquer mon anglais regulierement avec des gens communicatifs et curieux

After living for many years in the West (Belgium, Italy, Switzerland),
I’ve decided to return and settle in Cameroon, my home country.
Currently an entrepreneur in real estate and transport, I’m looking for a partner / partners / foundation to collaborate on an agriculture project, as I own 10 hectares of land.

If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).
