mon mari et moi partons nous installer à Dakar au mois de juillet 2006, et nous avons quelques questions d'ordre pratiques, alors si quelqu'un pouvait nous renseigner ...:
* tout d'abord, vaut-il mieux faire venir sa voiture de france (de moins de 5 ans, ça j'ai compris😉) ou en acheter une sur place. Si c'est la deuxième option la meilleure, j'aimerais aussi savoir quel est le prix d'une voiture là bas. Et si je fais venir une voiture, il faudrait qu'elle soit de quelle marque ? (pour facilement trouver des pièces, etc)
* de plus, je suis infirmière et je voudrais savoir quelles sont les opportunités de travail, donc si quelqu'un à fait ou fait ce metier au sénégal, je veut bien des infos

tu vas vendre ta voiture que tu possède et rapâtrier l'argent au sénégal. Là, tu achèteras une voiture d'occasion, il y a des vendeurs de voitures d'occasion sur la route de Rufisque. Elles ont l'avantage d'être senegalisées au niveau des papiers et tu n'auras pas à souffrir de négociations et dessous de tables nombreux et couteux. Préférer une voiture française de marque peugeot, ils connaissent tout sur les réparations des voitures européennes mais celles là ont encore la préférence des sénégalais. C'est le meilleur conseil que je puisse te donner. Ramener une voiture de France c'est une chose que j'ai déja vécu et je ne recommencerai jamais plus. Il faut être sénégalais et bien introduit en douane pour faire sortir un véhicule sans trop de dessous de table à tout le monde. Or tu n'es pas encore sénégalaise et ils vont te voir arriver avec tes petits souliers et ton porte monnaie bien rempli. Donc il faut éviter de faire venir une voiture de France et toi et ton mari serez en paix.
En général ces voitures ont entre 3 et 6 ans. 80 000 à 150 000 km. Regardez l'aspect général, essayez le véhicule et se rendre compte de tout avant de négocier. Tu devrais faire une affaire en achetant entre 2 000 000 et 3 000 000 de CFA soit entre 20 000 francs et 30 000 frs.
En ce qui concerne les offres d'emploi dans le secteur hospitalier, je pense sincèrement qu'il te faut faire acte de candidature à l'hopital civil central, celui où je suis né et pourquoi pas à l'hopital militaire. Tu pourras te présenter au 23ème BIMA, là ils t'indiqueront le chemin de l'hopital militaire.Les médecins sauront te guider avantageusement.
Pour ce qui est de votre lieu d'habitation, essayez de sortir de Dakar et d'habiter en campagne. 25 à 30 km vous serez aux anges. Mais à Dakar même, j'le sent pas ce plan. Moi je n'aimerais pas vivre à Dakar intra muros. Mais ce n'est qu'un avis personnel.

je ne suis pas infirmier mais je connais une super clinique a Dakar qui pourrait t'intéresser.
C'est la Clinique de la Madeleine, à côté du camp militaire Dial Diopp.
Elle est toute récente et les conditions de travail sont exceptionnelles.
Je ne sais pas s'il y a du travail mais ca serait dommage de ne pas te renseigner.
En plus comme ils commencent et que ca marche fort, ca ne m'étonnerait pas qu'ils recherchent de nouvelles recrues....
Ils ont à peu près toutes les spécialités médicales ....
Je suis né à Dakar il y a 26 ans, mais pas dans cette clinique qui n'existait pas...
Ca fait tout drôle à chaque fois que j'entends que des gens partent y vivre.
Profitez en bien... La nature y est fantastique.... Si vous avez/aurez des enfants, grandir là bas est un merveilleux cadeau que vous leur faites.

nous pensons aussi partir au senegal l'ete prochain. D'apres ton pseudo, se pouuait il que tu viennes du var ? Nous venons juste d'appprendre avec joie cette noivelle et je commence a l'instant a regarder un peu ce qu'il convient de faire (papiers, vaccins, auto, vetements....)

Je partirai en Sénégal avec la famille pour trois ans (ou plus J). J’ai bien compris que la voiture faut acheter sur place, mais quels affaires devrais je prendre (électroménager etc ??) – y a-t-il de choses qu’on ne trouve pas au Sénégal ou qui sont beaucoup plus chers que en France ?
Etant habituée à séjourner en Afrique et donc également au Sénégal, il me semble que la voiture n'est pas vraiment un outil indispensable.
On trouve partout et à toutes heures des taxis, c'est pas cher et pratique.
On trouve toutes sortes d'électro-ménagers, à tous les prix. Il me semble qu'au lieu d'acheter un lave-linge par exemple, il vaut mieux engager une dame qui viendra laver ton linge. Tu donneras ainsi du travail à quelqu'un et cela t'aidera à entrer en contact avec les sénégalais qui sont des gens très gentils et sympathiques.

After living for many years in the West (Belgium, Italy, Switzerland),
I’ve decided to return and settle in Cameroon, my home country.
Currently an entrepreneur in real estate and transport, I’m looking for a partner / partners / foundation to collaborate on an agriculture project, as I own 10 hectares of land.
The hectares have remained unused for years due to a lack of financial means, since the project requires what I’d call a considerable investment. As the main stakeholder, I have a minimal contribution to offer.

1) Grow maize + build a processing plant to produce flour
