je viens sur ce forum pour vous demander de l'aide, des avis sur une expérience que j'aimerais tenter car je n'ai jamais voyagé.
Je souhaiterais faire un voyage dans un pays anglophone (2-3 mois) pour améliorer mon anglais parlé et ce, à moindre frais et surtout rapidement. Après réflexion, la solution la plus économique et rapide pour moi serait de faire du WOOFING. C'est-à-dire partir dans un pays étranger pour travailler dans une ferme contre logement et nourriture.
J'ai donc tout bonnement pensé à l'Irlande et à l'Angleterre qui sont les pays les plus proches. Seulement je n'arrive pas à me décider d'autant plus que les sites de WOOFING ont un coût d'inscription.
J'aimerais donc avoir vos conseils sur ces deux destinations et laquelle est la meilleure, la plus simple, la plus agréable et moins chère surtout pour s'y rendre.
De base, je préfère aller en Irlande pour la culture, les paysages et les grandes campagnes vertes. Seulement, j'ai l'impression que c'est nettement, nettement plus cher pour s'y rendre.
En gros, il faut que je prenne le train pour aller à Paris, puis que je prenne un second train de paris à Cherbourg, Brest ou Un port français situé en Bretagne ou normandie pour ensuite prendre le ferry.
J'ai calculé, il faut compter 100-130 € environ pour chaque tronçon de voyage en train ce qui représente 200-250 € par aller simple. A cela, il faut rajouter le coût du ferry qui en période creuse est à environ 250 € la traversée pour arriver à Dublin ou Cork.
Le voyage en Irlande nécessiterait donc à priori au minimum 500 € de ferry plus environ 500 € de train ... toujours en saison creuse. Ces prix sont susceptibles de changer.
Du coup, devant ces prix, je me demande si il n'est pas plus simple de prendre directement l'avion ... J'ai vu des tickets sur Internet Paris Dublin à 600 € aller-retour.
Le voyage pour aller en Irlande me semble donc très cher, compter au moins 800 € pour le trajet.
Je me suis donc dit que l'Irlande n'était pas une bonne solution et que le sud de l'Angleterre en dessous de Londres était mieux.
En prenant un Train pour Paris à 100-130 € puis un train Paris-Londres à 100-130 €, je m'en tire pour 500 € de trajet, et ce, sans trop de risque d'inflation lié à la période estivale sur le billet de ferry ou d'avion. En revanche, la vie est plus chère en Angleterre.
Voici donc le Dilemme : partir en Irlande et investir 1000 € rien qu'en trajet pour profiter du cadre préféré à la base ... Ou alors, préférer une destination de second rang mais dont le trajet est environ deux fois moins cher ...
Aussi, si vous pouvez me faire part de votre expérience en Woofing aussi si on peut me confirmer mes estimations du prix des trajets... Je n'ai jamais pris le train ni l'avion et j'ai regardé sur Internet les prix moyens...

Our departure time is getting closer (we have less than 2 years left—it’s both a long time and so short!). To start preparing seriously, we’ll need quite a bit of info. If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).
