3 retirees looking for 1 or 2 people for a month-long Patagonia road trip
We’re currently three retirees (one man and a couple) looking for one or two people to join us on a road trip through Patagonia by car.

Starting from Concepción in Chile, we’ll head to San Carlos de Bariloche (a possible meet-up point) in Argentina to reach Cabo Vírgenes. Then we’ll return via Route 40, with detours on the Chilean side (Torres del Paine, Lake General Carrera, Coyhaique).

We’ll pass by the Perito Moreno Glacier, Laguna del Desierto, Perito Moreno Park at the foot of San Lorenzo, Jeinemeni Park, Los Alerces Park, and more. A few hikes are planned.

Dates: November 6 to December 15, from Concepción back to Concepción.

Feel free to get in touch! Marc

Travel companions for spring 2026 - destinations to be decided
Hi everyone, I’m planning a trip in April 2026 and I’m looking for a travel companion. My destination isn’t completely set yet, but I’m leaning toward the Philippines. Other options are open too, like Brazil or Argentina. The idea is to share the trip and the good times in a respectful and relaxed vibe. So if you’re interested in my post, don’t hesitate to reach out. Looking forward to hearing from you.

Travel Companions in Chile for Hiking-Trekking-Ski Mountaineering
Hi! I’m Romane and I’m passionate about mountain sports! !😎

I’ll be in Chile from March to the end of August and I’m looking for travel companions, especially to hit the mountains—whether it’s hiking, trekking, fast-hiking, ski mountaineering, or even mountain biking. I’d love to explore Chilean and Argentine Patagonia, the Carretera Austral, the Lake District to climb all the volcanoes, the Santiago area around Cajón del Maipo, and why not Peru or Bolivia—I’ve got tons of plans! 😛

Here’s what I’ve got with me: - A pretty solid hardtail MTB - Ski touring gear—crampons, ice axes, avalanche beacon, shovel, probe - Bivouac/camping gear - Trail and hiking equipment

If you’re up for exploring a part of the country with me, let me know! I’m open to any way of traveling: road trips, bikepacking, hitchhiking, buses, etc.

PS: I’m usually in decent shape, so unless you’re Kilian Jornet, we should be able to tackle some awesome outings together! 😛

Hi, Woman, 42, from the Île-de-France region, I’m looking for at least 2 pleasant travel companions for a roughly 2-week trip to Argentina in May 2026. Buenos Aires, Salta, another city, and the northern part of Patagonia—somewhere it’s not *too* freezing yet, you know? ;)

Hotels, Airbnbs, or B&Bs. Ideally around 35-40 years old.

Don’t hesitate to message me! ;) See you soon, Kim

Patagonia November/January 2026 - Hikes & Treks
Hi there, I’m heading to Patagonia from mid-November to mid-January. I’m looking for travel buddies who are used to backpacking in a simple, go-with-the-flow way: long hikes, treks, and of course some sightseeing. From Buenos Aires down to Ushuaia, then back up to Santiago de Chile. On a budget-friendly basis with youth hostels, camping, maybe some bivouacking, and occasionally a bit of comfort too. The cost of living is high, both in Argentina and Chile: you’ll need to plan for a significant budget for two months. I’m bringing my small tent, sleeping mat, and sleeping bag—all weighing just 2 kg—and a minimalist backpack for more freedom. My flights depart from Basel; I live in Belfort. I’m 57, passionate about mountain sports, and I also love cycling around the world. Looking forward to sharing this trip! Christine

Travel companions for hiking and cultural discoveries
I’m a new member of VoyageForum. A high school Spanish teacher, I’ll be retiring on October 1, 2025. I’m energetic, curious, and passionate about travel, hiking in the mountains and plains, and nature. A member of the Alpine Club (hiking, skiing), I’m open-minded and fluent in three languages (French, English, Spanish) and have already traveled extensively as a backpacker with friends. For next October or later, I’m looking for a travel companion to explore several destinations: Scandinavia (especially Norway), Argentina, Chile, or New Zealand. If this post interests you, I’d appreciate your response. Best regards, Marc

Travel companion with no time constraints for Peru/Chile
Hello, I’m a young, active retiree looking for someone to join me in Latin America without the obligation of being together 24/7. I’m leaving on 25/09 for Cusco in Peru, then planning to head down to Chile. If the date is too soon, we could meet up there instead.

I used to travel independently with my partner. We’ve been to Peru, Bolivia twice, Guatemala, Ecuador, Cuba, Ethiopia…

Now, I’m on my own and would prefer to share the experience rather than travel solo. I last visited Peru 13 years ago, so I’m excited to revisit it and explore it differently this time. If you’re interested… see you soon! Brigitte

Road trip on both sides of the Andes
After traveling through Argentina and Chile, I’m heading back next year to visit friends. It’ll be during the southern hemisphere summer of 2026/27.

Still, I’m planning to explore quite a few nature spots where you really need a vehicle, so it’d be best to have 4 or even 5 people. Dates and duration are still flexible depending on everyone’s availability. You can also just join for a leg of the trip. The main route follows Argentina’s Ruta 40 from Cabo Vírgenes to La Quiaca, and then we can play leapfrog with the Andes. The plan is still coming together, so it’ll take a bit of time—get in touch if you’re interested!

Looking forward to chatting.
