Looking for a travel partner to explore the Los Monegros desert and/or the Gorafe desert in late September or later (October, November...). We can go either adventurous or more "chill" depending on our vibes and the weather... the plan is to build it together!

Hello
I’m Constance, a 21-year-old student about to start a gap year.
I’m looking for young people interested in joining me for part of the trip, especially in the Lofoten Islands in Norway. I’ll be there from late September to early October. Ideally, I’d like to stay at a campsite and/or the youth hostel near Leknes to keep costs down and go hiking during the day. If you know of any other blogs or sites (no dating sites, please!) for meeting travelers, I’d love the info! I’m used to meeting people in hostels, but there aren’t many in Norway—and even fewer outside the peak season...

Hi there,
Here comes the time for well-deserved holidays. Breathing in the fresh air, swimming, hiking... and enjoying an apéro 😎
I’m looking for travel buddies to co-create a getaway around Lake Annecy.
The idea is to explore with day hikes (no pressure, no performance vibes) and discover stunning views, local history... Try canoeing, mountain biking; check out street art performances, music festivals, art exhibitions—anything that makes for a good time.
I’m also open to other suggestions: the Pyrenees, Crete, Sardinia, Lanzarote, or anywhere else here or there 🙂
Holidays in a zen, laid-back spirit—no stress, no grumpiness, no ambiguity.
Energy. Culture. Sharing. Respect. Curiosity to discover the world. Chill vibes.
If you’ve got ideas for trips mixing cultural walks, heritage, music, arts, hiking, etc. (in France or abroad), hit me up to chat. Dates, locations, activities... we’ll figure it out together.
We can discuss via messaging and/or over coffee/ice cream in Paris, Marne-la-Vallée, or Meaux.

Thirty-seven years ago, I crossed Lapland on skis in winter...
Four years later, I returned by bike to the Lofoten Islands.
Now, I’d like to go back to this stunning country by sea kayak—a sport I’ve been practicing for the past 10 years. If it’s possible to meet up with one or more people for this little trip this year, it’s pretty quick to organize. Otherwise, in 2026, I’d love to kayak around Norway as well. If you’d like to join me for part of the route, that’d be awesome. Some sections require solid kayaking skills and excellent physical condition.
I’m 58 and retired this year—in September—due to disability.
Looking forward to your questions and/or interest in joining!
Improvisation is often part of the plan!!
I'm looking for a co-driver for a road trip from PARIS to the NORTH CAPE.
My co-driver had an issue and can't come with me.
The trip lasts 1 month and covers about 12,000 km.
We'll cross 6 countries:
Germany, Belgium, Norway, Sweden, Finland. My vehicle is a RENAULT KANGOO.
Hi there and happy New Year! I’d love to explore Greece or Austria in August 2026 for ten days.
If anyone’s interested, feel free to get in touch.
Thanks
Looking for a travel partner to visit the Azores for 2 to 3 weeks starting around September 14th. Simple hotels or even better, staying with locals, and a rental car to get around freely. Sharing costs, of course. A few easy hikes. Itinerary to be decided together—plenty of room for spontaneity. Good vibes guaranteed!
Hello,
I’m a 76-year-old "senior" who’s still active and full of energy.
I ski, swim, hike, and keep traveling a lot, including to the other side of the world. My most recent trip: The Philippines (winter 2026).
I’d love to gather a small group of friendly seniors to first plan some short trips in France together. If everything goes well, we could venture farther and for longer.
What matters to me in a foreign country: a change of scenery, trying to understand the locals and their way of life, architectural heritage (cities in particular), and of course the beauty of natural sites. I’m not really into "road trips."
I live in Paris and am available the second half of August and the first week of September (2026). Nothing’s set yet for 2027.
Hope to meet you soon!
Granviajera.
hi
I'm looking for a travel companion for a week—destination to be decided....
Jallane
Planning a bike road trip from Scandinavia, preparing a coastal voyage along Portugal’s shores to Santiago de Compostela, or taking one of the many routes leading to Compostela...
That’s right—did you know you don’t *have* to walk to experience the adventure of the Camino?
The spirit of travel stays open: hiking, biking, sailing (on a sailboat I can make available for the project), slow wandering, or a more ambitious long-term journey. What matters most is sharing, discovery, and the desire to build a great adventure together.
I’ve already been lucky enough to hike with friends—men and women—I met on this forum, especially in Mercantour Park. Those encounters led to amazing memories and real travel friendships.
If the idea of brainstorming a project, swapping route ideas, or preparing a shared adventure appeals to you, don’t hesitate to reach out.
Ready to start planning your next trip... and maybe even a long-term adventure!

Avid bike-travel enthusiast looking for a senior teammate
from ARLON (Belgium) to TRONDHEIM.
Nights in campsites, bivouacs....
Departure late June - early July.
I suggest a one-week ride from Paris to Arlon to get to know each other and plan the route, duration, etc.
No athletic feat (50–70 km/day, or 4–6 hours/day), just riding at the pace of our encounters and desires.
Interested in this project? Don’t hesitate! Contact me!
Looking forward to hearing from you,
Marie
Hello,
I’m a 70-year-old retiree looking for two or three travel companions to visit Sicily, which I haven’t been to, in May or June. I’m also planning to visit Vietnam in September. I love exploring, learning, and meeting new people, and I’m adaptable, but it’s not easy to find people with the same interests. Team spirit is important to me. I travel on a mid-range budget. Looking forward to your comments. You can reach me at: maryse.21 @orange.fr Best regards,

Hi there,
A little week or rather ten days—second week of June—in Sardinia sound good to you? Let me know if you're interested. Departing from Sète with Corsica Ferry and returning the same way.
We’ll be moving around, spending a max of 2 days in any one town. If you love walking, perfect.
See you soon!
Thanks
Hi there,
I’m looking for a travel companion (or companions), preferably someone living in northern France or Belgium, for these two trips. Departure from Charleroi.

Two nature enthusiasts in their sixties are planning a naturalist stay in Asturias: hikes, wildlife observation (Cantabrian brown bear), local architecture, and a return trip through the plains of Villafafila (lagoons and birds). We have observation equipment and knowledge of the area. Accommodation will be in a rural hotel. Departure planned for May 4th from southern France, returning on the 13th by comfortable car that can carry 1 or 2 additional companions.
Hello or good evening, ladies!
Private message conversation. With my thanks in advance.
Looking for a long-term travel companion. Preferably within a 25 km radius of Castres (Tarn) or Niort (Deux-Sèvres). I’m planning to move to the Niort area. However, I’ll consider other “applications.”
Departure on June 1, 2026. Around 14 days. My van easily carries 2 bikes and our "travel gear." In Lörrach, we’ll park it in a safe spot.
My motto: a well-planned trip is a successful trip.
Jean-Luc, 67 years old, 1.70 m tall.
I quote (description from an In.ternet site): "You’ll find idyllic landscapes worthy of the most beautiful postcards: isolated homes nestled with their large roofs on the slopes of meadows, peaceful lakes, sleepy peat bogs, and gorges that seem straight out of romantic tales."
Foxes, wild boars, lynxes, roe deer, stags, wild cats, and red squirrels can be encountered there. The advantage of traveling by bike? More chances to get closer to them, thanks to our silent mode of transport... Harder to spot are the salamander, a variety of aquatic turtle, the European pond turtle. As for the list of birds, it’s too long!
I choose not to specify an age range. The “I feel good with you” doesn’t obey any age bracket... That’s the magic of the chemistry that arises (or not) between two people. Still, physical attraction is a must!
One obvious condition: she should like the German people. Ha! Ha! If she speaks German at a good level, she’ll enjoy our trip even more. Uh... me? 20 or 25 common words and phrases. Especially polite expressions! For communication, I use French and English (widely spoken in this country).
I won’t promise “spectacular-fun-surprising” moments every 10 minutes. For that, you’d have to go to Disneyland in the Paris region. Instead, I promise a well-established itinerary, safe and secure, with good accommodations every evening. After about 4 hours of work, I’ve listed 2 or 3 different addresses we’ll head to via my GPS—if the first is full, it’s next one. 😉
I hesitate to mention the positive elevation gain. That’s the charm of this region: a succession of climbs and descents with stunning panoramas. Maximum altitude: 1380 m.
An e-bike isn’t mandatory. Explanation via private message. If you only have a hybrid bike, I can carry most of your luggage. I think that’s called “kindness.”
Lunch: “picnic.” In such a setting, it’s a must. A bit for restaurant savings, I must admit. Dinner at a restaurant. A potential extension that might appeal to you: from Karlsruhe, take the train to Cologne (Köln), and we’ll follow a bike path along the Rhine River from Cologne to Constance, with its medieval alleys and charming lake. Details of the cities (what to see and do) face-to-face.

I’m 62 years old, live in the Eure region, and my main goal is to meet a travel companion who lives in my area or nearby so we can get to know each other before planning any trips.
I’m energetic, easygoing, curious, and love discovering new places, going for walks, and having simple conversations.
The idea is to meet someone I click with, share travel ideas, and then build a project together in a relaxed way.
The Cinque Terre in Italy in early October is one idea I like, but it’s not set in stone—I’m open to other destinations or suggestions based on our shared interests.
Ideally, I’d like to find someone within a reasonable distance so we can meet easily and, when the time comes, travel together from Paris.
A first exchange via messages, and possibly a meet-up, will help us see if our expectations align.
If this approach resonates with you, feel free to reach out via private message.
Looking forward to chatting!
Looking to (re)discover the Lombard capital! A retired teacher in my sixties, I’m searching for a serious and motivated travel companion interested in Italian art and culture for a short stay in Milan at the end of May: visiting monuments and museums, friendly chats, and sharing expenses.
I’ll be spending a few days in Dublin in early May to explore the city, its heritage, lively streets, parks, and legendary pubs. I’m looking for a friendly, easygoing travel buddy with no drama to join me for this trip, swap impressions, and split accommodation costs.
I'm looking for a fellow biker to join me for part of a motorcycle road trip from the Jura to the Basque Country, then northern Spain, down to southern Portugal, and back through central Spain. I want to avoid big cities as much as possible and stick to small roads.
I'm retired, so I've got all the time in the world—the length of the trip isn't set and doesn't matter. Ideally, it’d be another retiree like me so we can take it easy—no rush. Planned for the second half of April and May 2026. Hope to see you soon!

Hello everyone,
Foreword: I have the moral elegance to keep disparaging comments to private messages. I expect the same in return! I won’t engage with "camel" or "motorcycle" avatars.
Andalusia in all its glory—that’s what I’m offering to a companion who’d love to share every morning of the days to come with me... From Cartagena to Lagos (Portugal), roughly speaking, if I had to sum up my desires. More precisely, 5 to 7 days in each of these towns: Cartagena – Carchuna – Córdoba – Seville – Huelva – Lagos. Having been there twice and visited part of the region, I already have a good idea of what’s interesting or spectacular.
Knowing about the Moors’ historical presence isn’t essential, but it helps understand certain architectural features.
When? Departure between February 20th and 25th, 2026. Why this time? We’ll escape the gloom, rain, and chill that will have settled over France (I’m speaking for my region). Plus, no matter where you go, there’ll be very few tourists at this time, so queues are much shorter, and accommodation rates are at their "low season" prices! (We also gain about an hour of daylight at this latitude.) I’ve already done some research (tedious but necessary...) on 5 towns (Cartagena – Carchuna – Córdoba – Seville – Huelva) plus Lagos (Portugal) regarding accommodation—open to discussion to agree on which to choose.
Of course, I know what to see and do in each area. Up for debate...
Budget? I’d rather discuss that in person. For my part, I’m financially comfortable.
Temperatures: around 16°C during the day in Cartagena, about 18°C in Seville, and around 18°C in Huelva (maybe 1 or 2°C warmer), with very little rain!
Vehicle? A reliable, well-maintained Citroën van. It can carry 2 bikes so we can explore some stunning regional natural parks. Plus, we’ll visit some massive cities—I’m especially thinking of Seville! The driver? Very cautious.
My advantage? I speak the language well. It’s pretty much a must, otherwise, you’re guaranteed to feel down after 2 days (laugh).
Lunch: picnics more for the joy of being outdoors than to save money. Dinner at local restaurants or fondas.
Preference for a companion living within a 2-hour drive of Castres (81), to make meet-ups easier as we "get to know each other" and finalize plans. Exception: if you live within 25 km of La Roche-sur-Yon—I’m considering moving there.

Hi there,
I’m looking for someone to travel with me to Venice from February 6th to 13th, 2026—we’d share a hotel room with twin beds, of course.
I’ll be flying from Marseille with Ryanair.
Otherwise, maybe next year.
Otherwise, maybe next year.
hi everyone, I’m planning a trip to Portugal or even another destination—I’m open to other suggestions.
I’m flexible for the whole month of September, for a duration of 4 to 7 days. I’ve done my last three trips with travel companions, and it went really well, so that’s why I’m looking to do it again.
If you’re interested, feel free to contact me to chat and organize something fun.
Hi there,
I’m looking to put together a group of 4 people to explore western and southern Iceland. The snow conditions in November (second half of the month) make access to the north and east tricky. Why November? The nighttime conditions (between 9 PM and 2 AM are ideal for spotting the northern lights), there’s still daylight (days run from about 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM—so we’ll need to start the day while it’s still dark), it’s not too cold (between 0 and 5 °C), and prices are more attractive than in late summer or during the December holidays.
I plan to use a provider to handle the logistics of the itinerary, which we’ll need to stick to (see details below). The provider charges 1345 € per person (price based on 2 people, but it’s better to have 4 to lower the cost per person since the vehicle rate is the same for 2, 3, or 4 people). We can tweak the itinerary a bit, but we all know that if we stray too far from the proposed offer, the price can quickly go up. Included:
7 nights in a guesthouse or hotel, twin or double room, shared facilities, and breakfast included. 7 days of rental for a 4-wheel-drive vehicle suited to the group size, unlimited mileage (fuel is on us), CDW insurance, and a second driver option. A road map and detailed itinerary A 24/7 French-speaking assistance service
Base itinerary proposed by the agency... It seems solid, given we’ll be there for 8 days (arrival and departure included). It’s possible to extend (by paying for extra accommodation) depending on your flight departure date. Day 1: Arrival in Iceland From the airport, the Blue Lagoon (optional) for a swim in its warm, turquoise, and milky waters. Then, the drive to Reykjavík, crossing the wild and lunar landscapes of the Reykjanes Peninsula. Explore the Icelandic capital, Reykjavík. Distance: 55 km. Meals: on your own. Accommodation: guesthouse in Reykjavík or the surrounding area.
Day 2: Exploring the west coast around Snæfellsjökull The west coast in the Snæfellsnes region. Cliffs, wild coastlines, and isolated farms in vast open spaces. Around the Snæfellsjökull volcano, the gateway to Jules Verne’s *Journey to the Center of the Earth*, you’ll discover the Djúpalónssandur reefs, the charming little port of Arnarstapi, nestled beneath the glacier, and the ports of the north coast, Grundarfjörður and Stykkishólmur. Distance: 260 km.
Day 3: Borgarfjörður, Reykholt & the Hraunfossar & Barnafoss waterfalls The lovely and unique Hraunfossar and Barnafoss waterfalls, before visiting Reykholt, the historic home of Snorri Sturluson, a famous 13th-century writer, poet, and historian. Distance: 160 km. Day 4: The famous Golden Circle The three most famous sites in the country, forming the Golden Circle. First, the Þingvellir tectonic rift, where you can hike or even dive between the two tectonic plates in a stunning, vast lake. Geysir, to see its hot springs and the Strokkur geyser. Finally, the impressive Gullfoss waterfall. You can also relax in one of the hot springs in the area. Distance: 160 km. Day 5: The south coast: Seljalandsfoss, Skógafoss, Dyrhólaey & Vík From the Golden Circle region, the route continues along the south coast. You can stop near two magnificent waterfalls: Seljalandsfoss, which you can walk behind, and Skógafoss. Head toward Vík, at the foot of Eyjafjallajökull, and the stunning cliffs of Dyrhólaey with its black sand beaches. Distance: 180 km. Day 6: Walk among the icebergs of Jökulsárlón & Vatnajökull Glacier Continuing on Route 1, Jökulsárlón will be your next stop, where you’ll see the glacial lagoon with icebergs breaking off from the Breiðamerkurjökull glacier. Skaftafell National Park, where you can take a walk, especially around the Svartifoss waterfall. As an option, you can visit a hidden ice cave beneath the glacier. Distance: 250 km. Day 7: Exploring the south coast & return to Reykjavík Return to Reykjavík. Stop in Vík or at the Skógar Folklore Museum, then pass through Hveragerði town center to see the fumaroles and solfataras before heading back to the capital in the late afternoon. Distance: 280 km.
Day 8: Departure from Reykjavík & return flight Take your flight from Keflavík International Airport. If you’d like to explore the capital further, an extra night in Reykjavík is totally doable. Distance: 55 km.
We’d need to lock in dates between November 20 and 30 (I can’t do earlier, and after that, the days get too short, temperatures drop, and prices go up). Ideally, 4 people from my area—I’m in Vendée, so people from neighboring departments in Pays de la Loire, southern Brittany, or northern Nouvelle-Aquitaine would work so we can meet up.
Contact me via PM if you’re *seriously* interested in joining. We’ll need to book soon to keep the option of tweaking the trip (within limits) and to reserve flights early to manage costs (Iceland isn’t cheap for flights or the trip itself) and stick to the travel dates.
Meeting beforehand is key—we’ll need to agree that we’ll be spending 7 days in the same vehicle and sharing a room with one other person, which requires some flexibility and respect for each other. It’s best if everyone’s a little active. You can do your own thing in terms of mobility, but it’s good to get out of the vehicle and walk a bit (more or less, depending on the person). I’m planning optional activities that might be possible, like: - Walking on a glacier - Visiting an ice cave - Winter diving in the Silfra fissure (if possible) - And of course, soaking in hot springs Everyone can decide based on their interests and budget, but we’ll need to be okay with others doing these activities while sharing the same vehicle—obviously, within the limits of the itinerary and timing tied to accommodations.

Hi there, I’m Rémi. I live in the north of France in Amiens and I’m 29.
I’m looking for a travel buddy (guy or girl) to head off this summer—August or September.
Preferably somewhere in Europe.
I’m more into beaches, sightseeing, and partying 🍻.
Easy-going with good manners. I love cheerful people.
Preferably someone better at English than I am.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Hi there! I’m Valentin, 25 years old, and I live in Bordeaux—the land of *super* tasty canelés!
I’m planning a trip from September 6 to 19, either bikepacking or with my fitted van (2 weeks).
I love staying active, discovering new places, and meeting people—basically, I’m all about adventure and good vibes!
I’ve got a few ideas in mind:
- Southern Italy, Greece, or Croatia
- Or Spain and Portugal
I’m looking for someone motivated (ages 20–35) to co-create this little adventure project—someone who’s really up for diving into the trip and sharing this awesome experience.
Looking forward to it :)

Hello!
I’m planning to spend nearly 3 weeks in the sun in September (from mid-September to October 7th).
I’d prefer a sunny destination. I was thinking of places like Turkey, Greece, an Eastern European country (Georgia, Bulgaria, etc.), the Canary Islands, Portugal, or even South Africa.
The idea is to mix visits to monuments, hikes in parks, and some beach relaxation.
I’m primarily looking for female travel companions for convenience, ideally around my age (I’m 42).
I usually organize my trips solo without going through an agency.
Once there, I’m used to walking a lot and getting around by public transport (train, coach, bus, etc.).
Feel free to message me if you have any questions.
Have a great day! !

Hi! I’m 66 and I’m looking for a travel companion for a 15-day road trip in September 2025 to Puglia. We’d pick up a rental car at Brindisi or Bari airport and book 4 apartments to explore the region.
Thanks for your replies!

Hello or Guten Tag,
Departure planned between 15 and 20/09.
Why Austria? For me, it’s a way to escape the 30°C that might still be lingering in southern France—but that’s not the only reason...
For budget info, on average, the cost of living in Austria in 2024 is 3% lower than in France.
Looking for a female companion living in the Castres/81 area or in 85/Vendée, where I actually plan to move. Her personality? I’d prefer to discuss that in private messages.
If she doesn’t have an e-bike (I have an excellent one), we can swap our “rides” from time to time. Oh... She should be around 1.70 m tall (that’s my height), and there’s no adjustment needed (saddle height + handlebars). Don’t take it to mean that anyone under 1.70 m is automatically out—I can fix a flat tire, I’m resourceful, and I’ve got a good sense of initiative.
I should mention that we’ll be riding in temperatures between 18 and 21°C. So, if you’re a travel lover who doesn’t mind slightly cooler weather, you’re welcome!
I have a “good level of English language pass,” which is essential for communicating with locals, though some will understand French. Personally, I understand about twenty words of German.
Some stretches without much interest can be covered by train. I’m thinking Salzburg–Passau. To be discussed...
No need to panic, Monique! The elevation gain might seem intimidating, but spread over 802 km, it’s not too bad.
Outbound trip: by car, left in a safe place in Constance or at the hotel where we’d have spent 3 nights. To negotiate with the manager...
Return by train from Wien (that’s Vienna in German, please!) for between 38 € and 80 €. We’ll see when we’re there...
I’m planning 2 to 3 nights in Constance, given the beauty of the lake (water between 22 and 24°C—maybe a swim?) and the interest this city holds.
Fancy getting close to Austria’s highest peak (3800 m) after climbing a pass (a pass with a unique feature in Europe) at 2504 m?
Want to have fun like a teenager on Europe’s longest summer toboggan run (on rails) for 3535 m?
Want to follow the Danube River for about 317 km on the EuroVelo route 6, a path dedicated just to cyclists?
Want to explore Tyrol for 3 or 4 days?
Want to discover Vienna and its surroundings? FYI: late September, around 20°C.
I’ll be equipped with an excellent vocal GPS. So no fumbling to find an address.
Why this country? We’re in the Eurozone. Budget? Hard to pin down. It’ll depend on the accommodations we choose. I’m estimating around 60 to 70 € per day per person while there.
Lunch as a picnic. In such a setting, it’s a must! Dinner at a restaurant-inn.
Oh... One important point. I’m a heavy sleeper. Nearly 10 hours of rest. After that, I’m in a great mood. I also enjoy a nap of at least an hour after lunch if the spot allows (shady and quiet).
