Hi there, I have a 9-seater passenger vehicle that I use for my business in Paris, transporting people. I’m planning to go to Algeria with my family. The vehicle registration lists my company as the owner. Can I get a TPD (Temporary Admission Document)? Will I need a KBis extract or a power of attorney?!? Thanks for your help. Worst case, I can add my personal name as a co-owner on the registration, but that would be a real shame!

I bought a one-way flight (Ryanair) and a return flight (EasyJet) to spend a week in Morocco in April. My passport expires 3 weeks after the return date. Some websites say the passport must be valid for 3 months at the time of entry. However, it will still be valid both on entry and return, but its validity will only be 1 month at the time of entry (and 3 weeks on the return date, everything prepaid).

It's an individual family trip.

The consulate can't give me an answer—they're still looking into it (really!)

Will Ryanair let me board in Beauvais in 3 weeks?

The consulate tells me my French residence permit needs to be valid for at least 6 months after I leave Egypt, but my permit will only be valid for 5 months and a few days by my departure date from Egypt. After reading my contract more closely, I saw that the visa would cost me 95 €, but if I apply for it in advance, it’ll only be around 25 €. Visa applications usually go through the TLScontact center, which is authorized by the French Consulate General in Cairo. You’re supposed to book an appointment via their platform, but I’ve been trying for weeks with no luck. Still no available slots!! GETTING AN APPOINTMENT ON THE TLS SITE IS MISSION IMPOSSIBLE! Hi, I went to submit my visa application to visit my partner’s family. We’re religiously married in France. I provided an accommodation certificate, pay slips, travel insurance, and a document stating we’re religiously married—signed, etc. I want to travel with my partner’s son, who has both Algerian and French passports and is a minor. Hi there. I had a simple question, please? My 10-year-old son’s French passport expired a month ago, and I just realized it. We’re supposed to leave for Morocco by car on June 30th, taking the ferry from Algeciras. I applied for his passport renewal today, but it won’t be ready for at least 2 months.

Can he enter Morocco with his expired passport? For the return trip, I’ll already have his valid passport.

I’m a student and my problem is military service—I didn’t register from the start and I didn’t do the medical visit, which means I’m not entitled to a deferment or anything. Hi everyone, and happy Ramadan to those celebrating. I wanted to ask—I just submitted my application yesterday for a deferment from military service. Here’s my situation: I already had a deferment in Algeria that expired last September. I arrived in France just before that to start my studies, got my consular card at the Paris consulate, and yesterday I submitted my application for a deferment on the grounds that I’m a student. I’m 24, turning 25 soon. The issue: the commission has already met this year, and I was told my deferment won’t be available until 2026—that I have to come back again in September to justify the next academic year. When I asked the guy (who was in a hurry) if I could return to Algeria with this deposit receipt without any issues at the border police (PAF), he said yes, no problem. But I’m not sure I trust that answer. Has anyone here been in the same situation and could shed some light? Thanks in advance!

Hi everyone, We’re French and we’d like to visit Algeria, especially Kabylie, for a stay of about ten days. We’ll be renting a car (which are the best car rental agencies?)

It seems that to get a tourist visa for less than 90 days, we need to show proof of accommodation + a flight confirmation from France to Algiers. (Which hotels in Algiers do you recommend? And which airlines?)

What should we do if the visa is ultimately refused? It’s not ideal if the response takes 2 months and we have to cancel the hotel and flight.

What do you suggest we do? What are the best practices?

Quelqu’un m’a demandé et je n’ai pas pu lui répondre.

Concrètement il demande s’il peut venir Et SURTOUT QUITTER -en tant que binational- le Maroc avec seulement son passeport marocain et sa carte d’identité française ?

Le hic c’est qu’apparemment au moment de sortir du territoire marocain, la police aux frontières demande -paraît-il- à voir un passeport européen ou un visa schengen, et par conséquent il ne pourra pas quitter le territoire marocain sans passeport français.

Je trouve cela bizarre, car depuis quand la police aux frontières (au moment de sortir) s’occupent des droits d’entrée des pays extérieur et depuis quand elle s’occupe des destinations des gens ?! C’est la compagnie aérienne et le pays de destination qui refoule ou non.

Bref : à la sortie, pour un binational, peut-il sortir du Maroc avec seulement deux documents : le passport marocain (ayant servi pour entrer) et sa carte d’identité française (pour rentrer en Europe) ?
