Hello,
We’re heading to Vietnam next March and would love to do a cruise in Lan Ha Bay, which seems like a more preserved and less touristy alternative to Halong Bay.
However, there are so many different companies out there, and we’d really appreciate your advice and firsthand experiences to help us make the right choice.
We’re looking for a 3-day, 2-night cruise on a small-capacity boat to avoid overly large groups.
A big thank you to anyone who takes the time to share their recommendations to help us with our search!
Have a great day! 🙂

Hi, I have a quick question
I’d love to know if anyone in this group has sailed with NCL in The Haven?
And if so, can you compare it to YC, or is it different—better or not as good?
Thanks
Hi there,
Looking for advice on how to get from the cruise stop at La Goulette to Sidi Bou Said on my own.
Cruise is planned for November.
Thanks in advance for your help!

Hello everyone,
What a great forum this is! Someone recommended it to me during my last cruise (my first one, too).
After that amazing trip in January this year, I’d love to go again.
But I’d like to know how to negotiate and which travel or booking agency to use to get the best prices. Normally, I book either in Switzerland (very expensive) or directly with MSC, but I’ve been told not to do that. So, I’m here to find the best way to book with MSC. As for dates, I’m pretty flexible, and my departure point—since I live in Switzerland—would be Genoa, Marseille, or somewhere near Rome.
Thanks in advance for all your future responses!
Best regards, Robert

One-day layover in Tangier, what to do?
Hi there! We’d love some tips on organizing stopovers on our own in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Arrecife, Puerto del Rosario, Santa Cruz de La Palma, Las Palmas, and Funchal. Thanks so much for your help
Hi, I’m traveling on the Symphony of the Seas in February 2026 and I’ve purchased the refreshment package.
I’d like to know if we want an alcoholic cocktail, will we pay the difference or the full price of the drink?
Thanks for your replies.

Hi there,
I’d like to ask . . . Are all included meals on board the boat when we’ve purchased excursions? With the boat, I mean. Is it ever the case that the included lunch is served en route for the group at a restaurant, or do we always have to return to the boat to eat and then head back out in the afternoon to continue the visits? Thanks in advance!
Hello everyone,
I’ve wanted to take this Norway cruise for a very long time. The first time I booked it was in July 2020 with Azamara. Unfortunately, it was canceled, as everyone remembers. When I tried to book it again, the prices (already a bit high with Azamara) had simply doubled. So, since then, I’ve been keeping an eye out every year for any opportunities...
The last time we sailed with Princess was eleven years ago, and things didn’t go very well. I came back pretty unhappy with their service and quite disappointed. Despite the $600 they gave me as credit for a future cruise, I’d never set foot on one of their ships again.
But this time, the opportunity arose—a fantastic itinerary with lots of stops, a reasonable price for 16 nights (I’ll share the details in the conclusion), and a ship that’s not too big, so to speak, with only 3,000 passengers. I’m not expecting much from the cruise line this time and am boarding the ship with low expectations beyond the itinerary.
Princess has introduced an app to download before the cruise. It’s essential because online check-in is no longer available, and the agency doesn’t send a travel journal. Everything is done through the app. After completing the check-in on the app, we only know that we’ll need to pick up our key, the Medallion, at embarkation by following the blue line in the terminal and presenting our passport.

Up until our departure, the weather forecast for the coming week in Norway is disastrous—rain, rain, and more rain. It was pretty much the same two years ago before our Iceland cruise, and in the end, the weather turned out fine.
If you’re ready to embark on the Emerald Princess to discover this beautiful cruise and the stunning landscapes of Norway, let’s go!
Southampton - Sea day - Bergen - Olden - Åndalsnes - Sea day - Tromsø - Honningsvåg (North Cape) - Alta - Sea day - Molde - Trondheim - Two sea days - Edinburgh - Sea day - Southampton

Good evening, cruise friends!
I’m planning my Japan cruise with Costa.
Is it more worthwhile to book excursions before departure? With MSC, yes, because you save 15%, but what about with Costa?
For those who’ve already done this cruise, do you have any tips or recommendations, please? We’re staying 1.5 days before and 3 days after in Hong Kong. Thanks in advance! Chantal Ports of call: Hong Kong - Keelung (Taiwan) - Japan (Naha - Kagoshima - Tokyo - Kobe - Nagasaki) - Busan (South Korea) - Hong Kong

Hello,
My husband and I are heading to French Polynesia on August 21st for a cruise on the ARANUI 5 to the Marquesas Islands. If anyone has taken this cruise recently or during the late August/early September period, I’d love to hear your impressions and any practical details. Thanks for your feedback! Elettra69

Hi everyone,
I really enjoy traveling by boat, and I usually book directly with the cruise line.
At the same time, I get a lot of ads for Croisières.fr, which, as a middleman, offers me the same cruises as the cruise lines themselves. I’d love to know if any of you have booked through them before and if everything went smoothly?
Thanks!
Bonjour,
Si on peut me renseigner... (voir photo...) merci d'avance

hi,
I’m going on a cruise on the Costa TOSCANA in October, and I’ll be celebrating my birthday there.
I wanted to make it special and try ARCHIPELAGO for the first time.
And also go back to Teppanyaki (I really like their menu and the atmosphere).
I see there’s a package for 3 culinary experiences at 88 €.
According to the description, you can go to the specialty restaurants 3 times.
That price seems really low to me, since Archipelago alone costs around 55 €... and with this package, you could go 3 times?
Plus, there’s another package next to it: 1 Archipelago and 1 Teppanyaki (without specifying the menu) for 80 €.
Has anyone already tried the 3-experience package?
What did you think?
Thanks for your feedback
Hi there,
I need to take the Explora I ship for a cruise departing from Venice (Fusina port) in mid-October.
We’re spending two days in Venice beforehand. How do we get to the ship? Is it easier to take the train back to Mestre and then a taxi? Are there taxis at Mestre station? Do we need to book in advance? Do you know of a reliable company?
Explora doesn’t offer a bus transfer and mentions a water taxi for 360 €!!!!
Thanks in advance for your help. Best regards, Claudine

Hello,
I’m going on an MSC Norway cruise in May, and I’m a bit lost when it comes to choosing excursions 😅
Here’s my itinerary: Hamburg, Ålesund, Honningsvåg, Tromsø, Trondheim, Molde Fjord, Bergen, Hamburg.
I’m looking for advice and opinions: must-see places, and is it possible to organize excursions independently from the cruise line (there are 4 of us)?
All your experiences would be super helpful 😊
Thanks in advance
Hi there,
I’d love to go on a Mediterranean cruise, but I’m a bit nervous about doing it solo.
Thanks for your advice!
I'm considering boarding the Costa Serena in Sydney in November 2026 for the Sydney/Santiago de Chile cruise and continuing on to Buenos Aires before finishing in Rio...
Anyone else going to be there??? I'd love to connect with you all 😎
Hi there, we’re taking this cruise from September 27 to October 4, 2025.
Could you share your experience on board—cabin, meals, etc.?
Are there any other members on this cruise between September 7 and October 4, 2025?
See you soon, Alexandre

Hi everyone,
In a month, I’m heading to Greenland with Rivages du Monde.
My question is: which airport do we fly out of to get to Iceland—Orly or Roissy?
Thanks to anyone who’s already traveled with this tour operator for this destination and can let me know.
Have a great day
Hi everyone,
If any of you have taken this ship before, could you tell me if there’s Wi-Fi on board and, if so, what the cost is? I can’t seem to get the info from Rivages du Monde.
Thanks, and have a great day!
Hi everyone,
If anyone has already taken this cruise with Rivages de France, departing from Paris Roissy and arriving in Kangerlussuaq, do you remember the departure time from Terminal 1?
Thanks, have a great day
Bonsoir
Bien cordialement

Hi there,
Has anyone here taken the cruise to the Marquesas Islands in French Polynesia with the cruise line Aranui?

Hi there, we’re going on a cruise and I’d like to know what time the shows are at the theater so we can pick our dinner times.
Thanks for your help
Hi everyone! We’ve booked a cruise on the Costa Smeralda for early November 2025 (ports of call: Barcelona, Cagliari, Naples, Civitavecchia-Rome, Genoa). This is our first cruise, so I need your help for some sightseeing tips. I checked Costa’s website for excursions, but the prices are pretty steep! I saw that it’s possible to get a Costa Go Round ticket with multiple stops—this seems really practical for some destinations. Has anyone tried it? How does it work? Is it useful for seeing several sites in the city? If you have any tips for sightseeing without blowing our budget for 3 people, I’d love to hear them. Thanks so much! :)
Merci!!!
bonjour a tous,
Merci.
